Feel bad for all these people in animation, comics etc who end up unable to pay for their own healthcare as they get older.

oh shit
not Frieza
I wonder if he's already recorded his lines for DBFZ or not

Holy shit! Frieza was voiced by a dude and not a little old lady?

The original Funimation dub is a woman

and is also superior

F?

Hell no, Ayres is the English equivalent of the jap voice

The voice of Bulma (Japanese) has died.

F

Genkai's voice is better for DBZ Frieza.

Ayres is better for Super and Resurrection of F.

Having a generic british sound villain was a lot less interesting than having Linda Young do an actual character voice.

I hope he pulls through.

It's a damn shame. I heard the survival rate for this disease is pretty low.

Remember the old saying lads. Death ALWAYS comes in threes. Uncle Grim never fails in that. Who gonna join Bulma's VA in death soon as well?

>join Bulma's VA in death

Nani??

Japanese VA of original Bulma passed.

Ah, that's sad.

His role in Super was already given to his understudy in the last few episodes.

When was that? We're not even to the ToP Frieza bits

dubbed american voices were a fucking mistake

>Remember that Stan likes 3 square meals

> "Your Lungs will fail in 5 Minutes"

>Frieza's VA has cancer
>Bulma's Japanese VA is dead

Damn it, I was just just joking when I said Dragon Ball should die!

too bad.
The gods have heard your request, and it has been granted.
Enjoy your wish.

First bulma

Chris comes out and says this

Fuuuuuu

Saiyan sized monkey's paw.

Well, that's what you get for saying after collecting all the dragon balls.

>Bulma's voice actor passes at 57.
>Granny Goku is in her early 80s, and wants to record Super for another "600 episodes"
Disregarding the fact that she takes her role pretty seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't enjoy working just to get out of an empty house.

Being Goku is the only reason she still wakes up anymore.

Dude this topic is Sup Forums territory. Not Sup Forums. Anime is anime.

He's had COPD for a while now. It's unfortunately not a recent development.

Reminder that Chris Ayres is an amazing Frieza.

>think Frieza's old VA sounded like she had a chronic smoking problem
>turns out to be Ayres

>Genkai's voice is better for DBZ Frieza.
What the fuck is this stupid statement.
Ayers is the better Freeza, period

If Ayres gets better from this, it'd be funny to see him and Linda Young go to a con and argue in-character as their Friezas.

And not to put too fine a point on this, but Sup Forums wouldn't donate a dime to a dub actor.

This and their mods would ban them if the situation was flipped around.

Mods like Sup Forums make me happy we have Sup Forums mods.

>Who gonna join Bulma's VA in death soon as well?

Goku's Japanese VA is 81. She'll join soon.

Can we just say Lil Peep and Liz Smith and call it a trio? The three of them have nothing in common but it'd prevent more deaths.

>double lung transplant
What the fuck?
Under what circumstances is that a necessary procedure? Or is it a misnomer?

>Under what circumstances is that a necessary procedure?
Probably when someone has two failing lungs.

I understood it being the case that a human only needs one functional lung in order to live.

>If Ayres gets better from this
Nigga you don't get better from COPD. It's slow deterioration until you die.

>double lung transplant
>What the fuck?
>Under what circumstances is that a necessary procedure
It's a way to buy more time when your lungs are fucked beyond saving. Only the absolute worst cases warrant a transplant, and even then it only keeps you going for a few years more before you're done.

>It's a way to buy more time when your lungs are fucked beyond saving. Only the absolute worst cases warrant a transplant
Which is why I'm questioning why any medical professionals would authorize the expenditure of two lungs for one person who is likely going to die anyway, instead of giving one lung to two different people with a significantly higher chance of survival. It's not quite as if "I'm a voice actor" carries enough clout to warrant special treatment, right? Or does the US somehow have an excess amount of donor lungs just lying around? It all sounds very curious.

Well damn, I just saw that Bulma's Japanese VA died too.
