Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters

The first season is out now on Netflix. Here's hoping it's fun at least.

Watching. Dissapointed Vac-Man doesn't seem to be in; Wingspan will probably be the best character.

Only watching to see the sexy twins in the poster.

Maybe Vac-Man will be the main villain in season two? They set up Stretch Monster as the one for this season, at least.

It's been okay so far. I hope they make some toys in the future. That monster from the first episode seems like it would make for a cool one.

I'm on Episode 3 and I can't tell if Rook or Keith David will turn out evil. Rook's red hair immediately made me think he'd get mutated into Vac-Man at some point but they seem to be setting up the black guy as having a bad streak.

I'm gonna guess the Flexarium was invented by skater girl's mom since they both have purple hair.

I don't know if toys will do well though. It doesn't seem like the kind of property that has successful toylines in 2017.

On th episode with the two girls. They have stretchy tentacle hair and crawl around like Doctor Octopus.

P O R N W H E N

>that gang of ninja GMILFS in episode 6

oh baby

That was fun. Reminded me of all the crime lord shenanigans in Spectacular Spidey.

The show is done by veteran action toon writers, animators, and directors who worked BTAS, Darkwing Duck, Spectacular Spider-Man, Jackie Chan Adventures, Transformers Prime, TMNT 2K12, etc.

What's the verdict? Is it kino?

Yeah it definitely gives me Spectacular & JCA vibes.

It's decent but it doesn't take a lot of risks. The villains are all fun but the main kids feel like the weakest part; they're all squeaky clean and don't have a lot of conflict. It never feels like there is a lot of gravity to their situation and no villain has the kind of menace that, say, Spectacular's Doctor Octopus or Kaijudo's Choten bring.

I'm only on episode 9 and some cucking has just occurred so maybe things will change regarding the characters.

Overall it's worth watching but I don't see it getting farther than a second season. I think the concept is not going to hook kids and I can't picture what the merchandise will look like beyond a few extremely out of place vehicles thrown into the series.

Blindstrike is one of the girlfriends right?

Holy shit there is a black lady with lighting powers. They had to do this on purpose.

I've only the trailer is the whole save the world before bedtime and homework shit real prevalent? Cause I hate that shit when school bullshit is a concern when I have superpowers

Are they planning to air this on TV at some point? It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Netflix Original with commercial breaks.

>It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Netflix Original with commercial breaks.
That's seriously a thing?

Not literal commercials, but it does have the pauses that would cue commercials, if it was on TV.

The new MST3K show does the same thing, faking commercial breaks every so often with bumpers.

Ehhhh kind of? The main character has a really overbearing dad so he's always trying to balance his dad's expectations and rigid schedule.

Can’t wait for deviantart to churn out badly drawn fetish porn of these characters.

this but good porn from the Sup Forums drawthread

Last episode and purple-haired girl is talking about "mom trouble." She is definitely Blindstrike.

We need gay porn ASAP

The worldbuilding for this show has been pretty impressive. Between this and Big Hero 6, it's nice to have superhero shows that have their own original characters and lores. One gets tired of Marvel and DC after a while.

The fight against Blindstrike in the train was also pretty nice. Here's hoping there's fights even better than that in the future.

Finished the series. The end of the season changes things up a lot, and the last couple episodes get really good.

I had my doubts but I was impressed. Season 2 is probably going to be pretty good.

I'm wondering if we're getting more than the second season. They kept saying they've got a 26 episode order. That seems a little short for a Netflix series, but maybe I'm spoiled by the massive episode orders for Dreamworks shows.

Six episodes in, I really like the series. The head of security is based.

Yeah he's really cool

They gave Voltron one super short season so maybe? I'm sure it depends on toy sales.

So from what I'm getting here, what should be a throwback to 80s cartoons that only existed to shill toys is actually taking the time to put a plot behind it. Right?

>tfw no goth twins with tentacle hair to fug

No, it was one big order of 78 episodes, with 26 episode seasons each. Netflix is just retarded and breaks them into ridiculously smaller seasons to stretch out the show as much as possible.

Bump

Just finished watching the first two episodes.
Seems like a generic Saturday morning cartoon, but based on what you guys have said, this might get slightly better.
This is more fun to sit through than Zak Storm, at least.

...

Nice

>Miguel Ferrer

Too soon, man.
