Why did Disney strip all sex appeal from the Big Hero 6 cast?

Why did Disney strip all sex appeal from the Big Hero 6 cast?

>original comic versions
>Honey Lemon is a hot babe with cleavage and visible midriff
>GoGo Tomago wears D-cup boob armor and red lipstick

>Disney remake
>Honey Lemon is an ugly nerd with bad posture
>GoGo is a flat tomboy with hipster hair

The new cartoon airing on Monday will officially kill any chance we'll see the original character designs. Thanks, Disney.

>Why did Disney strip all sex appeal from the Big Hero 6 cast?
Apparently you didn't see Aunt Cass.

Sexy vortex, it sucks the sexiness of everyone around her to boost her gains.

But they took all the sex appeal and injected it into Gog’s thighs.

And she doesn't even need it, even with the original designs she's the top.

>Apparently you didn't see Aunt Cass.
This old hag?

Are you kidding me?

Underage

>Movie for kids

Gee, I don't know.

>old
>looks exactly like Elsa's sister

The Disney GoGo is superior anyways.

She has wrinkles, granny hair and the fashion taste of a baby boomer. The only thing she shares with Anna is the Disney face.

You also forgot to mention how the original Big Hero 6 was racist as fuck and written by a weeaboo.

because it's disney

I know a 27 year old woman with a grey streak in her hair. Most definitions of "millenial" include her age group.

>wrinkles
I don't see it

>talking shit on tomboys
nigger you are on the wrong website

>tfw 24 and greying
>best friend going super bald
Wish I'd just die, man.

It's not like the movie was aimed at kids or nothing, also fuck off underage fag

>I don't see it
Circled for your convenience.

Those aren't the original comics versions, you tard.

Honey Lemon consistently had her coat done up until that mini, and Gogo's design had a helmet.

>Honey Lemon consistently had her coat done up until that mini
Are you talking about this coat? That still looks nothing like her prudish Disney design.

Note how she's being a flirt in this panel. None of that personality was kept in the movie.

Disney Gogo has a nice fucking ass though

I think we can all agree on that.

That's just a slightly more realistic character user. Sorry you can't appreciate a good MILF.

I think it all went into Hiro and Tadashi, you know, for the ladies, but that's just me.

Nowhere near as sexy as the comic version.

I think I need to post some examples. It's clear you don't know how sexualized the comic is.

Sex appeal is sexist.

Honey in a swimsuit. You won't find anything like this in a Disney movie.

Honey in her underwear.

>Sex appeal is sexist.
It's censorship. Disney censored these characters.

Here's a really tasteful rape analogy. Imagine how brave Disney would've been to put this in their movie.

>It's censorship
You do realize not all censorship is inherently political
The word usually means the censorship of sexual things on any kind of wide release media
Especially something like a fucking Disney movie
Are you actually retarded?

>You do realize not all censorship is inherently political
Everything is political. The question is if you're willing to take a stand for the right side.

I love cheerleader uniforms.

I'll be honest I find the movie versions hotter than the generic 90s action girl stuff from the comic

I actually feel kind of bad about it

Like, it feels MORE perverse and less simply horny

"less is more" is always true when it comes to sex appeal

Are you sure you're not just into the exaggerated, over-sexualized fanart depictions?

Not that Japan knows anything about that.

there's a lot of porn out there dude can't you go polish the pole without dragging kids movies into it?

>GoGo is a flat tomboy

um

>It's censorship
You don't know what that word means

...

Sex appeal is not about "porn", you Victorian philistine. It's about the sexual liberation of our cultural heritage. It's about showing society that it's okay to be female.

No, I just look at the comic designs and don't see anything I've not seen done a million times before a million times better (probably done with the greatest success in Gen 13)

Whereas the movie designs are... probably like top 10 CG kids movie hot chicks?

Japan is fucking weird, they don't count.

>It's about the sexual liberation of our cultural heritage. It's about showing society that it's okay to be female.
He may be a philistine but you sound like a libcuck.

OP's side is that of a dumb faggot with pleb taste

People are still saying cuck?

I'm a proud Swedish feminist, if that's what you mean. Excuse you.

you just sound horny though

like, everything you're asking for sounds less like wanting to celebrate women or being a fan of the original comic (which was pretty bad, and you sound only interested in for horny reasons) and more about wanting to jerk it to cheesy T&A centric comic book costumes and shoehorned titty shots

You are excused.

shit taste

Show me one screenshot of the movie where GoGo looks this attractive. Just one.

Yes I need to have the gum scene saved

I thought Honey Lemon was cute...

Nobody fucking cared about the comic though, nothing of value was lost.

wow, lame cartoon sexuality written and drawn by men too stupid to make it actually attractive. Great job convincing us.

>a redesign of a character is censorship

...

The movie designs are better because they're cute and not generic 90's

I frankly had no idea that BH6 was a comic before the movie was announced, and didn't even research it.

Now that OP's sharing some pages I can see I didn't lose on anything. Looks like generic 90s/early 00s comic cheesecake. I really can't see the appeal OP, sorry.

>this
the fact that she has the same body shape as my Korean gf makes it hotter for me

>Everything is political.

Fuck you, that's not true. Idiots like you make things political.

So are the comics good?

>Imagine how brave
Jesus, never thought I'd find myself unironically playing "other side of the coin" but you actually sound like those menstruation pads who go on about how any small defiance or "surviving" harassment is worthy of a medal of honor.
"Brave", fucking hell.

You want to talk courage, why don't you show us your purchased support of the comic, let's see if you lead by example given how much you've put into this little soapbox.

You're being exceptionally melodramatic about this.

...

Gogo is a cutie too.

unf

>Why did Disney strip all sex appeal from the Big Hero 6 cast?

Huh? I thought Honey, Gogo, and Aunt Cas were all sexy as fuck.

Fuck no. It's an amalgam of Japanese stereotypes and tropes without any understanding why those tropes are there to begin with. It's like an old man trying to be hip with the kids by trying to copy manga. It's schlock in its purest form.

>Why aren't the characters in this kids movie sexy?

You know why. Mediocre bait.

>people complaining about the comic having "generic" designs of the time
oh go fuck yourselves, the designs in the movie are completely homogenized and bland just like most Disney 3d films. Besides I guarante you faggots were born after 2000 and know jack shit about what was "generic" at the time

It all went into GoGo's thighs.

The comic versions are vanilla as fuck generic hot girls, while the movie versions are actual cuties. Fuck your shit taste OP.

>Why did Disney strip all generic animu stereotypes from the Big Hero 6 cast?

why don't you just fug your gf then

>Why did Disney strip all sex appeal from the Big Hero 6 cast?
Honey Lemon is cute
Gogo has dat ass
Aunt Cass is a milf-nado

Comic big hero 6 was pretty generic yes, the only thing it had going for it was it was part of Marvels attempt to get at the ANNIMMMEEE audience, a push that did not go well.

The film re-imagining works quite well, IMO. The only character change i'm not super big on is Super Dave being a dude in a costume and not turning into an actual Kaiju

,cuz she won't move to my city for a few more months so gotta wait til then

user, did you mail order a Korean bride?

lol no, I live in Korea too

that doesn't answer my fucking question you pervert

you can make it user, i believe in you. she's cute btw

It's been okay to be female since the dawn of time, you'vd been trying to redefine what female is so you push them into consumerism and the laborforce

All right, faggot, here's why:
Normal, well adjusted, healthy individuals are uncomfortable with having overt, explicit sexual iconography being flaunted in front of children. If you can't grasp this, you're either underage yourself and have no perspective beyond your own budding libido, or else you are genuinely sick and should be chemically castrated for the safety of the rest of society.

Kill yourself.

To be clearer, we just met online and then when she was visiting Seoul over the summer we met up for dinner. She lives hours south of Seoul so we can't do much now. She's 100% not a mail order bride lol

Thnx I hope so. It's hard af making a relationship in Korea since my Korean speaking ability is crap. Thankfully she's fluent (not perfect) in English.

I think we can all agree that the comic and movie were just made to cater to different mediums and audiences, hence why the characters are drawn differently and why each has fans for different reasons.

I remember when the Teen Titans cartoon first premiered and everyone was giving it crap about Starfire's reduced sexiness but then lots of people ended up liking the show Starfire more for different reasons (or switched to the superior show Raven)

If you're not aroused by the thought of being blown while those eyes look up at you, you need to rethink your sexual orientation.

Fuck you, Baymax alone is far more original and iconic to the series than the shambling mockery of stereotypes the original was.

That picture is fucking unsettling. I thought it was a gif for a second.

...

Speaking of the redesigns and Hiro, i'm a little on the fence between his movie design and comic design.

The comic design feels fitting for a Hiro who wants to be taken seriously and seen as older or at least more mature and able than he really is.

On the flipside, movie Hiro looks appropriately out of his depth in everything from his thinner design and more boyish, softer features.

I kind of wish he kept the glasses.

>blue streak
>hipster hair

You've ever seen a hipster then, eh?

Yeah sorry, but I had to cover the face out of respect of privacy. In retrospect, black was a poor choice of color

Well, I think we can all say Fred didn't seem to change that much.

>fun fact: one of the artists, David Nakayama, was the lead concept artist for the MMO City of Heroes.
>He also drew a picture of NuBaymax to celebrate the film.

My god, she's the Stan Lee of sex appeal.

It's not the color, I think. I don't know, the setting or something is giving me a weird vibe.

>Note how she's being a flirt in this panel. None of that personality was kept in the movie.
Are you serious? If she was any more flirtatious with Hiro it'd be bordeline creepy given that he's 14.

her eyes are as big as my fists
think about how fucking terrifying that'd be in real life

Never read the comics but from what's been posted in this thread I gotta say I prefer the movie designs.

hm...might be the general darkness of the picture along with the subject being small and far away giving a vibe that it's gonna run up to the screen?

Try this pic and explain if you have the same reaction.

>maid outfit
