If this election has taught me one thing, it's this: The Democrat party is no longer a welcome place for white males, and to a lesser extent, whites in general. If they want to be a member of the club, they need to grovel and apologize for their "privilege," and pander to minorities in all regards.
The Republican party, in contrast, has altered its position on "free trade" to promote one of "fair trade," very much making it the party of the working man, in line with its position on low taxes and traditional lifestyles. I expect them to ease up on labor unions in the name of courting additional votes from their majority white, traditionalist, blue collar base.
I fully expect the two parties to become even more galvanized, with globalist Democrats going full socialist, and nationalist Republicans standing up for America, traditional values, and limited government.
I fully expect the Midwest (Wisconsin, Michigan, though not exactly Midwest, Pennsylvania) to go hard right and begin picking up black support, and Hispanic-heavy states (Florida, Nevada, etc.) to start going extreme left.
It's going to become "us versus them" to the point where I fully expect many current politicians to change parties in short order, with blue collar Democrats becoming full blown Republicans, and RINOs lapping up the Democrat label. It's going to become middle class laborers versus elites and their puppets.
