you all know this going to suck right?

>wanting more Calarts HA!
NO! NO MORE!

>near perfection ending
>"let's milk the cow some more"
Stop. Simply stop.

Why was the art style of this show so shit? Like how many frames per second? Oh! Never mind! It wasn't hand drawn! But instead it's fucking flash!

Nick's gotta get dem grubby money and please them 90s kids

Ugh the having brown native people worshiping a white man like arnold was cringy enough. Should have died with the movie

So when are we gonna get a tranny & new faggot student?

And $100 Lila for what ever reason turns into a fag.

Honestly as long as Creator & Writers have 100% control Ill be ok. I guess.

Ready for that sweet sweet Arnold's head redesign because "muh CalArts audience"?

He's gonna be called "bean head" now.

You fags realise they haven't actually greenlighted it right? The video is just talking about how the staff is up for it.

The cable ratings for friday haven't even come out.

Fucking bait title.

It's only a petition.

thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/912/288/796/

That's the thing. Craig Bartlett has proven that he hasn't lost his touch. A new series under his creative control would be fantastic, especially since he has had ideas peculating in his mind for season 6 episodes since 2001. It would probably be the best series of the show.

hearty kek

Stop clickbaiting, nothing is official.

>"fuck white people, man"

t. Gerald

>implying

You know damn well that theirs a feminist inside one of those studious trying to ruin any mans carrier! Just you wait! Mark my words!

>he has had ideas
Yeah, mostly for the Patakis spin-off.

Hey, at least a cutie delicious brown waifu came out of it.

>Yeah, mostly for the Patakis spin-off.

Nah. Also for actual Season 6 episodes. He talks about a number of them in interviews.

Let me guess a woman "ruined" your career? I'm pretty they would have replaced you with a fucking chicken, forget a woman, with that poor English, m8.

>season 6

I don't want to feel disappointed... just like how they ruined SJ...

Indeed

Nick had nothing to do with SJ you moron. That's Cartoon Network/Adult Swim

...

>just like how they ruined SJ
>they

Nigga pl0x

Please no. The ending was good, so I hope that the petition gets buried.

You don't seem to get it, if you bring something back from the dead it will likely be shit. Let me give you more examples: nuppg, ttgo!, and SJ. I know it's a different company, dingus. What I'm saying, that you should let things die before they get worse. Look how Genndy end it his own show, pure shit.

Dem money's important for Nick

Samurai Jack's revival was good

If a new show happens where all the kids have smartphones, drop hashtags and update their profiles, and everyone textapp chat's with everyone else, I will flip the biggest table I can find.

Fuck that shit. DO NOT DO THAT just to cater to the kids of today. Fuck any alienation they might feel. We wouldn't even have this problem had a sixth season came out in say, 2004 or 2005. Even up until 2008 and 2009 you could get away with it being a show that used"old tech". Hell even Regular Show, that came out in 2010, still used VCRs. I thought it was cool that they did!

The guy talking has an annoying voice and rambled. Everything he went on about was a load of twaddle.

The show got a good enough ending, everybody should be happy with that.

>it will likely be shit.
Your examples don't mean shit cause they're only the most popular ones you care to list. Teen Titans go is a different show altogether from Teen Titans, and there are plenty that would say it's fine. "nuPPG" isn't great, yeah, but it's also a different show, and if you wanted a proper example out of it you should've mentioned when they created new seasons of the original PPG show. Even Samurai Jack is a poor example because while the consensus here would be to say that the last episodes "ruined" the season, plenty of people thought they were good and enjoyed the conclusion.
From your logic the Hey Arnold movie should've been shit.

Shud up bitch. It was fine.

It's not gonna get greenlit. The enthusiasm of a bunch of 20 year olds on the internet is not going to be enough because the actual movie viewership ratings didn't even hit a million. I doubt they'll sink money into a new season even if the reviews WERE positive.

If anything it will be like the newer seasons of Futurama

Ratings aren't even up, user.

Futurama wasn't that bad in the later seasons. It had some great episodes like the one that had the quote "Shut up and take my money". The later seasons were actually really good

That's what I meant, I'm actually up for another round of Hey Arnold. The crew is clearly up for it and TJM was good

>The enthusiasm of a bunch of 20 year olds on the internet
>Born when the original show was airing

Its more like enthusiasm of a bunch of people who are 30+.

Fair enough.

Last I heard they came in at 0.88. Could be wrong though.

Any new Rhonda porn

Any new porn?

Craig Bartlett went to Evergreen State College.

Source? All I saw was some guy in a thread say it. I haven't seen any cable ratings website come up with anything for friday

Doesn't look like a loli

We all bitched for over a decade to get the Jungle Movie made so we can have a proper ending and now you people want more? Fuck you. The Jungle Movie was supposed to be the end.

The people who want it the most is the crew themself

>DO NOT DO THAT just to cater to the kids of today.

So they should cater to the fat neckbeards of yesterday?

I wonder if any retards back in the 90s REEEEEE'd when they saw a character using a VCR or playing a game boy. HATE TECHNOLOGY

Arnold's parents will ruin the dynamic of the Boarding House

t. liar
Cable ratings for Friday won’t be reeased until tomorrow

I just don’t see why. We had a perfect end just like we’ve wanted for over a decade.

The problem is that the movie was so good that it reminded me of exactly why I liked the show to begin with. A new series wouldn't be a disgusting cash grab.

That is definitely true

>Arnold's Parents are around
>Helga and Arnold are a couple, taking away from one of the best aspects of the series (Helga being secretly nuts over Arnold)
>Phoebe and Gerald are a couple

It's good for an ending but this won't work as a new series

They should demote Arnold to recurring, and give other characters more focus.

If it had a perfect end, people wouldn't have called it rushed. If Nick just gave it the proper time length it was meant to have, people wouldn't want to be seeing anymore interactions between Arnold and his parents, or how the Patakis will get their home back, more information on the amulet, and so on. People want a season 6 because the movie didn't finish everything up.

>They should demote Arnold to recurring, and give other characters more focus.

>what is seasons 3-5 of Hey Arnold

Bad news.
The team didn't capture the same feeling for hte movie, stretching that shit for a season is guaranteed to be an off tone disaster.
Probably not "the girls start a shaking their asses in mussic" nuPPG, but still.

Am I the only one that would want to have another Party Wagon short film instead of a season 6 Hey Arnold?

I'd be game for a season 6 as long as it takes the characters in an interesting direction. If it tries too hard to be exactly like the original run, it would end up feeling like an unnecessary cheap imitation.

It wasn't rushed, if you want a rushed ending look at Samurai Jack's final episode

Ashi was a mistake

Not him, but the ending in Jungle Movie was pretty abrupt. Arnold saves his parents and kisses helga, and then the next scene everyones already home and starting grade 6.

Craig says there would be a lot more focus on time progression and the characters growing up

>work on new season begins
>Craig instantly fired due to sexual harassment allegation

I honestly think it would have already come up by now if that was the case. A lot of the actors that were kids when the show was around originally returned for the Jungle Movie.

I meant rushed as in they had to rush over it to cram everything else in

Watched it yesterday, was a fucking delight to watch. It felt pretty adult though and I can see why they decided not to make more

Why'd they leave these guys out of the class trip? I assume Torvald stayed back again

By all accounts he’s a wonderful man, and has been married for three decades to the IRL inspiration for Lisa Simpson. Don’t think she’d let any disrespectful attitudes towards chicks slide

I like how a 90s reboot had a 90s-style violent villains death

I was a bit shocked that Sheena didn't go. Especially since she and Helga shared the same VA, and has had a speaking role in a lot of episodes.
Iggy is a bit of a controversial character because of that one episode everyone hates.
The rest of pic related weren't really that relevant.

fuck off dumbass, if women are really that worthless to you then you might as well be a faggot because ne female would want to be with you, also, skin doesn't matter dumbass pedo

fuck off dumbasses, if women are really that worthless to you people then you might as well be a bunch of faggots because ne female would want to be with any of you, also, skin doesn't matter dumbass pedos

As long as Helga gets to say crap.

>plenty of people thought they were good and enjoyed the conclusion.
I don't think this is true at all

>reminder that after next month, users born after 2000 can legally use and post on Sup Forums

>because the actual movie viewership ratings didn't even hit a million.
First of all, you don't have any actual ratings. Second, you especially don't have online numbers since the movie was also released through Nick's app These days, there are shows that get more seasons because people watched them digitally. It happens with Disney XD shows all the time

The movi was okay, it felt like fanfiction, but it was certainly a step up from the mediocre cheap kiddie bullshit thayt Jim Samples greenlit during his later years

>The movi was okay, it felt like fanfiction

This triggers me. Do you know why it felt like fanfiction? Because virtually all of the Hey Arnold fanfiction written in the past 13 years has relied on Craig Bartlett outlining what he wanted to do in the Jungle Movie.

>it felt like fanfiction
stopped reading here.

If it felt like fanfiction, I would absolutely take a season 6 based loosely on Tutoring Arnold

Poor Rhonda

Ratings just came out, fuckers. It got over a million views just on TV without counting online viewers.

showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-friday-cable-originals-network-finals-11-24-2017.html

To be fair SJ only turned to shit at the very end of season 5. First half was fucking godtier.

>it felt like fanfiction
In what way? Elaborate. You're on an image discussion board. DISCUSS shit.

...

It did better than that, it's listed twice for the different channels. It's over 2mil combined, probably more with nicktoons

Lol "It totally failed"

This is only counting the TV viewers, too.

...

Not him, but I think pandering too hard to the new era would make it really awkward and embarrassing. Aside from the fact that it doesn't age well, it doesn't feel organic or fit most of the characters. Heck, most actual kids aren't the exaggerated millennials the media thinks they are. (At least IRL.)

I'm personally fine with smartphones and technological advancements, since that's natural and relatable. Rhonda, being ahead of the curb, would probably drop some references to hashtags and shit. But going overboard could easily hurt the show.

Having Arnold's parents back promises a slew of new stories. Miles & Stella only knew Arnold for about a year. They haven't been around to parent much. Now you have the couple adapting to life back at home & the boarding house adjusting to their presence. They haven't entirely learned about how amazing Arnold truly is. Is Arnold going to change with the new stability in his life? Arnold doesn't have to play the role of glue keeping everyone together. Will his parents thirst for adventure again? How will the parents apply their humanitarian work on improving the city & its inhabitants?

No it isn't. It's a load of dumb fucks forcing more episodes.

>It got over a million views just on TV without counting online viewers.

By modern standards that's actually pretty reasonable. There might actually be a shot for a season 6 if we shout loud enough + these ratings.

Might just be wishful thinking though.

We already have Mr. Simmons, Eugene, & the principal. Plus wasn't there a crossdresser in the original series.

>at least 2.5mil
noice

nickelodeon and nick at nite are the same channel

You are one sad retard. I think a sixth season would be terrible and I hope they don't make one but you're just straight up fucked in the head.

But Craig's wanted to make an S6 for years

>Teen Titans go is a different show altogether from Teen Titans, and there are plenty that would say it's fine.

what a football head
