>What is this thread? Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books. Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere. Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't). If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how. Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.
>Where can I find downloads for other comics? Warez forums/blogs, DDL-indexing search engines (like FileDiva), torrent trackers (like ExtraTorrent) and other P2P networks (like DC++). If a link has been posted on Sup Forums, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links). If all else fails, just >buy it.
>Where can I buy comics? comixology.com/ amazon.com/ On the various publishers' webstores, and at your local comics shop.
>How do I download from websites that only give me .exe files? Untick the checkbox under the download button.
>How can I find this thread every week? If you are using the inline extension go to Sup Forums.org/co/official or use the option under "Filters & Post Hiding". If you have 4chanX go to Settings > Filter > Subject and add the following line: /Official Win-O'-Thread/;highlight

How do you guys deals with sequel / prequel / additional reading for comics?
Like say I wanted to read "Final Crisis", I then read the Wikipedia article on Final Crisis and see that it immediate picks up where "Countdown to Final Crisis" stopped. But then, there are a fuckton of crossover issues that deal with the whole Final Crisis shit in other comics, and then there are "sequels" to Final Crisis.
How the fuck do I manage all that. Is there a site that I can search, I want to read The Age Of Ultron series, and find out every other issue I have to read to get up to that point, and other comic issues that deal with Ultron shit, and any sequels to Ultron.
Shit gets confusing, but I might just be retarded.
I had no problem reading Trinity War (at the time) just reading that trade and then the Forever Evil trade. I totally ignored almost all the villain month's specials, hadn't read most of the Justice League of America build up to where the issues crossed-over, and I still haven't read the Argus crap. I only read the Rogue's trade about six to 10 months afterwards.
Sure there were a few details that confused, like why wasn't Lex in jail (since Lobdell in the ongoing and Snyder in Unchained had shown him in jail with no chance of parole anytime soon) and some other stuff, but you're stressing it out too much.
I can't suggest specifically what to do for FC but I doubt you really need to read 52 issues of Countdown for it to make sense. I do think you need the main tie-ins like Superman Beyond. Not sure if you need Legion of Three Worlds or the other direct tie-ins but someone else can chime in, it's been a while for me and I've never read all of Countdown, much less in the right sequence, and don't want to re-read the main books until I do.
There's a website that's okay for some reading orders: comicbookreadingorders.com/ But for Final Crisis specifically, don't read the tie-ins. It's a situation where Morrison wasn't exactly telling the editorial teams what was going on in it, and more than half of the tie-ins contradict the main story. Read the Resist and Submit one-shots, and the two Batman issues (682, 683) before Final Crisis #6

>If anyone cares, I'll try to keep an updated a folder with the nuArchie books Thanks, user
So you also agree that Legion of Three Worlds can be ignored but also think that the Superman Beyond can be ignore? Not attacking you, honestly just curious - and wondering why?
Wyatt Gonzalez
Ah shit, I completely forgot about Superman: Beyond. That stuff is critical, and is included in the newer trade, so I completely forgot that it wasn't part of the main narrative. I don't really have too many thoughts on The Legion of Three Worlds because the Legion never really grabbed me, sorry. But yeah, Superman Beyond 1-2 is very important

More often than not when it comes to events all the spin-offs, tie-ins or whatever the fuck you want to call them just serve to confuse you and ruin the story. Sometimes they're complimentary (not quite essential) to the story and it benefits from reading them in the right order. It depends on the event. I haven't read Final Crisis yet so I can't comment on that, but if The Age of Ultron is the event Marvel had a few years, essentially just read the main storyline. Do not bother with the various tie-ins (I think they had .AU at the end of their titles). Really, they're completely unimportant. Secret Wars is definitely confusing, though. But if you want to read Secret Wars without having to bother with the other million titles because you're either not interested in the characters or know very little about them just read Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers and then read Secret Wars. Seriously, don't be a slave to some autistic reading order that has you read days worth of stuff for the """complete""" story.

They have to wait until the edgy/supernatural/alternate universe/"whatever they choose to go with for the next comic" Josie and the Pussycats relaunch starts so they can include the first issue as extra content in the collection.

fuck yea, i read this when i was like 10 and loved it.

Thanks, I was surprised you wouldn't include. The Legion stuff is possibly hard to follow if you don't follow the Legion and it probably helps give breadth to the story but I don't think it's really necessary (like what EF Argus was up to during Forever Evil, for example) to understand the main plot.
ADDED GUNSMITH CATS, PHANTOM LADY ARCHIVES, REX THE MOTHERFUCKING WONDERDOG, UPDATED TOO MUCH SHIT TO COUNT, RE-UPLOADED ALMOST EVERYTHING, AND CLEANED SHIT UP A BIT.

Does anyone know if there are any Cerebus digital rip other than High Society? Many thanks

Anyone know if we'll ever get the last issue of Afterlife with Archie? (Or the final 2 issues of Hickmans Shield for that matter - still watiing to read vol 2 of that!)

Din't think so. I had to download all the individual scans and make up the trades of it.

FWIW - DC skipped 122, a Bob Haney authored Swamp Thing team up, no obvious clue as to why.
Also, the previously (June) no. 127 release is actually a digital TPB breakout from the Bats/Wildcat Glorith trade rip, this issue is a hardly slightly smaller file; this is also case where the cover wasn't changed in the trade from the floppy, so save for the page numbers in the July release being from the trade, it's nearly identical. Let your autism decide.

SOU's been paying actual cash to rip the current batch of books, they aren't on CMX Unlimited like the others he did recently.

Thrifty little ripper, ain't he.
Well, unless Archie #4 and Riverdale were in there, is SOL.... for about 9 months until they get pushed over to CMX Unlimited.
FF is getting paid commissions to do covers, he's had recent covers lately on several books. You would think they would have pushed out the issue they initially promised by now, a while back and certainly before Jughead The Hunger. Your guess is as good as anyone else, including the people at Archie still waiting for someone to buy them out OR for it to be time for them to do another GoFundMe.

May I ask for a request or if anyone knows if there's a rip of Spider-Man by Todd Dezago & Mike Wieringo vol 1? httpswww.comixology.comSpider-Man-by-Todd-Dezago-Mike-Wieringo-Vol-1digital-comic494919

It was released earlier this year and it's still selling for $20 at the moment. Marvel's been putting their recent stuff (past 12-24 months) on sale with the desperation of a 54 year hooker at 3 am, well after everyone's cleared out from last call.
I don't remember it coming out and a browser check and a Desu check says no.
Hopefully some nice hub person will chime in to confirm but I'm fairly confident you're out of luck, unless Danke is still in a giving mood, or Asgard/Kikeko or some of the other Empire rippers with apparent deep pockets decides to rip it.
It's also been requested, per DESU, at least twice since May. Not a lot, certainly, like the guy who got the Tales of the Batman - Alan Brennert after requesting it 10 times since January.
Being pushy on /co helps, unless you want some crappy video game comic.
