"I want a world where laughter doesn't come at someone else's expensive!" - Surely what most reasonable people want is simply a world where laughter generally comes at the expense of people who really deserve it, or within the context of a story or a show wherein the laughter stems from the foibles of fictional characters?..

Catman got a girlfriend.
Kyle is turning into his mom.
Garrison just nuked canada.
And satan is nowhere around to fix everything this time.
This shit's gone off the rails, there's no way they can wrap this up this season.
movie confirmed?

Because Kahl got btfo'd one too many times, and instead of shooting up the school accidentally nuked Canada instead

I would cream myself. The bigger badder uncut is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Humor doesn't require arbitrary justice or even karma as a rule, and should not. That someone would think narrative fairness is anywhere among the top priorities of a crude and absurd comedy like South Park makes me sick. OP if you take what you just posted too seriously in the context of this show and others like it you're a pussy and part of the problem.

No, most people just want laughter no matter who's expense it's at. Which is fine.
>inb4 muh punching up/down

Terrance & Phillip was never funny. Kyle just grew up.

That be a fucking amazing way to end the series

it really had. maybe they're just tired of it and are pushing to extremes to see what they can get away with. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another movie, I just don't think they'd lead into it this way.

Thank goodness an user who gets it.

>Kyle dies
>at his funeral Kenny unties his hood and delivers a beautiful eulogy followed by singing
>then the coffin falls on him

>Kyle just grew up.

And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills...

This

Does anyone need the episode? I can upload it if so. I saw a .rar file being passed around last night, but er couldn't post then

How much comedy IS there that isn't at the expense of something? Even observational comedy is all about making fun of whatever concept is being observed

Sure

What Kyle is saying about Terrance & Phillip what people used to say about South Park when it was a new show. People try to shift the blame on TV shows but the truth is people are mean and shitty persons naturally and you can't change that.

They seem to be getting tired and just getting more ridiculous. Movie would be a great end to the series. Probably after 300 though.

I think it's trying to show that history repeats itself. Kyle's mom and Kyle are one in the same. The world isn't "pussified" now, people have always taken offense or blamed others for problems, whatever it may be. Or i'm just reading into it too much cause I've had too much beer

This is the first time they've gone ridiculous in years

They're definitely doing a history repeats itself thing, that was the whole point of retreading the movie and "I didn't think I'd live long enough to see this happen again"

They are signed for episodes through 2019.

I'm curious what they're gonna do with PC Principal and Mackey's female counterparts. I doubt they'd add both of them just to remove them next episode.

Which is pretty nice actually

Hey Kyle, remember when you couldn't stop laughing at Cartman after he got AIDS? Fascist asshole
That doesn't give Kyle the right to act like a terrorist

I agree, especially after S20 we really needed something like this where they went balls to the wall without it being frantic damage control to wrap up a plot that they lost control of

>In b4 the baldwins get bombed again.

>The world isn't "pussified" now
It is a bit different though. People have changed, South Park used to shock people because it had crude humor and bad language. Now it's different, saying "shit" on TV doesn't shock the American people but making fun of trannies does.

It's making fun of people who are like "I used to like South Park and thought it was funny, but now I know it was never funny" SJW people who think they are above everything and blame a TV show.

Kyle is such a cunt.
He doesn't care about "the people who get farted on", he cares about himself. He's the one getting farted on by getting cucked by Cartman and subsequently getting shit on by the girl he liked.

He's always been self-righteous but he's become a compelte hypocrite now.
Shit, I dislike Kyle more than Cartman now.

No, I'm not saying that it does, or that narrative fairness is among their priorities (although they do deliver it sometimes). What I'm saying is that Kyle is supposed to represent angry millenials, and to me, it doesn't seem like millenials really think that way. He acts like any millenials that ever watched and enjoyed South Park now hates it and want it erased from existence because "it was never funny", whereas the complaint I hear most of the time is simply "Hey, sometime these guys go too far, or make jokes that just come across as being kinda questionable, and it's okay to not to find that some of that stuff funny" and "some of these new episodes are kinda shitty". Like, I don't know anyone who grew up liking South Park that's now angrily demanding it be torn down completely.

Which is a great point, yeah.

Will kyle realize he's a racist?

Exactly

>Now it's different, saying "shit" on TV doesn't shock the American people but making fun of trannies does.
Funny how things work

I don't care much for Strong Woman but Mackey deserves to find true love. That scene was Creek levels adorable.

KYLE DIEEES

>tfw I always dislike Kahl
>tfw this fucking season

I see plenty of those kind of millennials at my college. Especially the ones into activism

Jews can't be racist you goy

Why you hate Kyle more than Cartman is you're MEANT to hate Cartman and everything he does. When Kyle is being despicable with his actions, it's unintentional.

If you get a chance you should listen to link related
soundcloud.com/the-bill-simmons-podcast/south-park-competing-with-snl-and-the-future-of-comedy-with-matt-stone-and-trey-parker-ep-208

Matt and trey mention that they genuinely didn't know if they would be allowed to make fun of caitlin jenner

Kyle is still the best. He feels so strongly about everything.

you're able to feel strongly about everything and be an asshole, just look at cartman

They were introduced one episode before the big finish. That's as red shirt as it gets user. Their deaths aren't certain but I wouldn't call the idea unlikely in this situation.

They're definitely at risk, but it wouldn't surprise me if at least Strong Woman survives since they'll think of material to use with the dynamic of her and PCP

>Kyle became Hitler

Boy's got a stick up his butt just like his mom. I always said he was a reflection of Sheila and now it's etched in stone.

>Jews not resorting to genocide under pressure

>Daily reminder that kyle literally got America to nuke Canada because his feefees were hurt.
>Daily reminder that kyle just became another Eric cartman just like Heidi.

Do we know for sure it's a nuke and not just a giant fart bomb?

So what are the chances of Ike calling his brother Hitler to his face? Assuming the shock of seeing Canada's major population centers obliterated by his former teacher on live TV didn't traumatize him into a mental shut down or something

Similarities are stunning.
>both got cucked
>both committed a genocide
>both were jews
>both did nothing wrong

Sorry would've posted it last night but couldn't. I saw some of you dudes mention they could go for a full Evangelion ending and then have it re-boot to pre-season 18. A "is this what you wanted? this is what you get" kind of thing. Man that would depress me. They've had some highs and lows since then but I've really enjoyed all of the new characters/character development overall.

IT ALL KEEPS DOUBLING DOWN

DOUBLING DOWN

DOUBLING DOWN

He also got butters to worry about since he killed his ex gf.

Given the nuclear key and detonation codes, if it was anything other than a nuclear blast we're not supposed to know that right now. The obvious assumption the show expects us to make is yes, that was a nuke.

Personally I would prefer they don't reset it, I want Kyle to face the fallout

In the past he was self righteous yet ultimately right, and it was Stan that was fucking awful

And just like Hitler, he's doing nothing wrong. He just wants to make the world a better place.

>best boy kills couple million worthless leafs
>everyone starts to hate on him

Like you fuckers wouldn't do the same.

They would never do this. The commentaries make it clear that they LIKE continuity, it's specifically S20 that was a mistake because they went full serialized. When they take it week by week and just continue things if they feel like it and have an idea, there's no issues with continuity

Don't forget that it was Kyle who didn't come through for Stan in the "your getting old" episode; I don't think their friendship ever recovered

Watching this episode right now. Oh god. That HR woman. She and Strong Woman are lesbians for each other, aren't they?

I want to see your liveblog of the rest of the episode nonny kun

If they go reset I bet they'll toss us all the way back to third grade, but the reset will not be perfect and the current date and elements of the present, like certain new characters, may fuse into the past somehow, in new roles

THOUGH WE DIE, LA RESISTANCE LIVES ON

I would, but you sound weirdly interested in me.

Do it

Not just him. We all are.

that sounds lame

There are people that don't want to nuke Canada?

Does anyone else feel like we're witnessing Matt Stone's personal decent into madness, having finally gone mad with the guilt he feels from finally accepting that he and Trey were indeed the ones that destroyed American culture 20 years ago? Is this like his personal resignation from the show?

>Everyone stop, we're shutting it down!

Not as lame as 5th grade

I would prefer to just use a bioweapon to remove the leafs than annex the land for colonization

nice bait

Count me in, too.

Will they ever be nice to each other in the show again?

Not really, shit like family guy and simpsons post season 10 is what brought on the descent.

*noises of reason*

Only about 5 minutes in, pretty interesting so far.

that's the first time a pepe edit has made me burst out laughing in a while. That's from that shitty kneebrace commercial isn't it?

>wanting to annex worthless tundra for colonization

Are you fucking Ivan or what?

Owen actually

catch me if you can, kiddo!

kek, yes it is im surprised anyone could've guess it

different user, I only knew because the thread yesterday
I hadn't seen the ad before then since I'm not a burger, how long has it been a thing over there?

The problem in this episode is the opposite of shamelessness. It's kids learning how to be adults and taking everything way too seriously.

It's so funny when underage posers out themselves without even realizing

Honestly like 8 years, it runs 24/7 on Fox News and local shit

sendspace.com/file/8z3215
use this one if the mymixtape one doesn't work. I usually just use that for audio and don't really know if it can handle video stuff.

Main takeaway so far is Matt and Trey seem to notice that both them and Trump made success by using outrage, which is a similarity that seems to be bothering them.

You get it
Progs=Puritans
In fact cladistically they are their direct decedents.

They don't think a provocateur should be the most powerful person in the world
If trump didn't have authority they probably wouldn't care about him

Best episode this season.

>surely spamming the 4chins with gay porn will stop us
kek
anyway definately my favorite episode in seasons

yeah but its still stems from the idea that something they did is fucking with culture, in that episode is them talking about the early days of the show (and perhaps the movie) in this episode Terrence and Philip were once again serving as a Metaphor for how South Park effects real life. Now they've gone from using Kyle to express that bit of grief to actually having him be a dramatic anti-south park millenial. I think the moral of the story will still be just them going "You have to take personal responsibility for your life and actions and not blame it on farts jokes you heard on television" but the thing is Kyle also mentioned Stan's nihilism, and kept complaining about the meanness of the canadians humour, and those really are often associated with a generation raised on south park. So I dunno, I definitely am not some extreme anti-south park nut who thinks they need to be removed from television and all their work erased or whatever, that's garbage, but you are kinda left comtemplating the possibility that the show has messed with culture in some ways.

You could see the movie when you're 8 years old, and be 26 today.

Anyone know what the song playing is when kyle is shaving his head. I think its a MJ song but i cant exactly remember which one they are parodying.
