Oh, please

*Gets cancelled*

Already taken care of.

It was limited series m8

But they got their collective shit pushed in the last time that they fought him as a group, what good would they be now?

kek

Leave Thanos to me

I find Starlin's hateboner for Gladiator amusing

...

...

I'd really like to see this in the movies, the bad thing about it is they'll show up at the next X-Men and you know what that means

...

>the bad thing about it is they'll show up at the next X-Men and you know what that means
What?

...

...

...

...

...

hal, you're not even from the same universe... go back to disguising yourself as the riddler.

So they all act like complete morons, run at him one by one, and get effortlessly beaten while he monologues the whole time. Is this a standard Annihilator showing?

I thought comic book time was in effect and Thanos was thrashing them faster than it looked.
Course they might just be that stupid.

well their only other claim to fame is fighting the cancerverse and having a shitty miniseries

and a couple years later thanos gets beat up by the avengers and their thanos-busting missile so it just goes to show that power levels don't mean squat in comics so it's not even worth arguing about

I just like this sequence cause Starlin's art is good and it's fun watching Thanos body some chumps while talking smack

That's kind of bullshit though, Beta Ray Bill is strong enough to beat Thor even without his hammer.

And Thanos swats Thor aside like a fly

Even Odinforce Thor could barely harm Galactus and Thanos is equal to that

Thanos just really doesn't want to fight Gladiator.

youtube.com/watch?v=L4_zFYnnn2Y

im hoping this thread also get filled with lewd rocket pics, the only good thing that has sprung forth from cosmic shit

>5 of most powerful heroes in galaxy jobs to some purple guy
BRAVO

yeah I guess hateboner is too strong, he just always seems to love writing him like a moron

probably has something to do with him being a superman ripoff

>some purple guy
lol I refuse to believe you give even a single solitary shit about the annihilators yet don't know about thanos

But when Thanos and Odin fought, Thanos couldn't scratch Odin and got pummeled himself even if not KO'd.

I think the one thing I hate about Thanos over everything else is how nine times out of ten how inconsistent his power level is. It's like there's some kind of written rule that says "No matter who else is in this book, Thanos is the most powerful character and can't be drawn being beaten."

It was pretty fun. Thanks for posting.

Other user but when I first saw him I was wondering who came up with purple superman with a mohawk and why they didn't get fired.

>Even Odinforce Thor could barely harm Galactus and Thanos is equal to that

Odin himself could equal Galactus and Beta Ray Bill managed to nearly kill Galactus once WITHOUT his hammer (granted, that was by destroying every planet in his path so he'd starve, but still).

Are you dumb or what? It was ironic

Maybe it’s some sort of Pokémon weakness triangle

Odin>Thanos>Galactus>Odin

Ronan wouldn't attack Thanos just by hammering him. His hammer can rearrange molecules and do teleportation. He could turn Thanos's clothes into adamantium. Or teleport Gladiator back.

Didn’t Thanos tank a full powered yell from Black Bolt to the face and was only bloodied and scraped?

Already taken care of.

It's canon.

Whats the name of this shit? I wanna read this

Captain Planet?

Infinity Revelation

current reading order for Starlin's modern stuff is:
>Infinity Revelation (OGN)
>Thanos vs Hulk (mini)
>Infinity Relativity (OGN)
>Infinity Entity (mini)
>Infinity Finale (OGN)
>Guardians of the Galaxy: Mother Entropy (mini)

and there's a new OGN coming out in a few months IIRC

not really, in the mini series they actually co-operate and team up their powers to do some pretty cool shit. This was just written so they job really badly.

...

fuck off furry

Who's the girl lying on the floor?

It’s more like: Galactus>Odin>Thanos

Ikon the Spaceknight, basically a Marvel-owned successor to ROM that nobody has ever done anything of note with. And I don't know if Marvel can even use the spaceknights at all anymore.

>gladiator
>a bigger threat than silver surfer

what?

They can't but they can use all the lore and shit they made up for ROM's comics. ROM himself is now in Hasbro's claws.

>The most dngerous of this lot
>I'll just teleport him away
kek

It's a starlin comic with Thanos and warlock.

The bomb absorbed part of the scream and he was injured for every scream after that ,

>It's like there's some kind of written rule that says "No matter who else is in this book, Thanos is the most powerful character and can't be drawn being beaten."
That rule mostly applies to Starlin's books because Starlin sees Thanos as one of the most powerful and dangerous beings in the universe, the kind that you can't beat physically.

Other writers have no problem laying Thanos low.

I wonder what does Starlin thinks of Civil War II?

I seriously doubt he's thought about it at all. Since he came back to Marvel they've basically given him his own little sandbox to play in. He's referenced things here and there, like the events of Annihilation and Infinity, but for the most part he just does his own thing and they let him, continuity be damned.

If he references Civil War II it will be in the upcoming OGN I guess.

probably salty about Thanos losing because someone punched him really hard but probably ok with the gun. Starlin likes have Thanos uses tech, like the teleporter here, or when he had force field to tire out the champion.

How was his run on the Authority? I want to give it a try? It was greater than life like Ellis or full of edge like Millar?

>Starlin
>The Authority
W-what alternate universe are you from, user?

>canonically, Thanos is fully mortal, and generally just has raw physical prowess in the forms of both his unique biology as a mutant Titan, and a cybernetic enhancements
>I'm expected to believe he can fight the fucking Silver Surfer, wielder of the power cosmic and a reality warper
Surfer could just turn his brain into jelly instantaneously by thinking about it. This is retarded.

>Beta Ray Bill is strong enough to beat Thor even without his hammer.
That's not even remotely close to true

I am sure he wrote The Authorrity after New52.

>Thanos is fully mortal
do you seriously know nothing about Thanos? He's a fucking Eternal you retard

How are you forgetting that Thanos is a powerful wizard?

As long as gladiator is confident enough of his strenght, then he cant be stop

Leave Thanos to me!

What if a powerful psychic remove all of his fear, would Marvel do something dumb and make him a badguy?

But it is OK when Earth heroes do it. Bias much Marvel?

That group could not handle Annihilus, a third rate silver age mustache twirling weirdo that gets his shit pushed in by Blastaar over and over again. Not to mention Thing beat him once.

Thanos is fucking overkill to them.

What you say is very true, yet that makes no sense. They fight cosmic threats all the time, but a group of earth heroes get to one up most of the time is very telling, if you ask me. That is like someone trying to say the Indiana Jones is a cosmic level hero, when he clearly is not.

Bill could have teleported him right back too,

Marvel movie when?

It's a standard Starlin showing

Surfer and Thor have both beaten him fairly often in the past, Thanos just walking through them li9ke they are nothing makes no real sense at all.

Drax does it all the time and he is a mid-tier brick at best. He killed Thanos with knives too.

Having Surfer, Bill, and Gladiator job to him so effortlessly is just bad writing here.

>it's a 'Ronan gets punched in the dick' episode

Eh its like watching an all star game. Sure you have the countrie's best players on one team. But they tend to look/play like shit because they have little team work and aren't used to each other.

Same with the annalators. All of them are either solo types or used to being the final big gun.

and yet in Annihilators they did a bunch of planning and team up moves. This is just Thanos wank

>Surfer and Thor have both beaten him fairly often in the past
When did the Surfer beat him? And Thor never did, that was retconned by PAD.

>Drax does it all the time
No he fucking doesn't.

>He killed Thanos with knives too
No, he sucker-punched Thanos while Thanos was busy and asking Drax not to fight. That was the first time Drax EVER "beat" him. And Thanos thrashed him when he came back in Thanos Imperative.

Do you read comics or just pretend to?

Real talk, has anyone ever ask Lady Death why she allows so many people to come back to life, if her overall goal is to kill everyone and everything? Both Deaths (Marvel and DC) are completely useless. Fire them!

Leave Thanos to me...

>why she allows so many people to come back to life, if her overall goal is to kill everyone and everything?

Her resolve is influenced by her menstrual cycle.

Wait, didn't ParaHal actually kick Thanos' ass during the crossover?

Won't disagree a large factor of it is Thanos-wank. He is second to only Bats in that department.

Thanos is one of the most powerful mortal beings in the universe. Batman is just a guy, at best he's the world's greatest detective and a top-tier martial artist. They're not even remotely comparable.

Like that will stop the Bat. Bat wank is strong, and is growing stronger by the day.

That's what I'm saying. Thanos being able to beat up the Annihilators isn't Thanoswank, it's a regular Thanos story. Thanos stories have action but they're never about Thanos being challenged physically.

Batman dodging Darkseid's omega beams is completely nonsensical.

they are CGI?

He even has a purple supergirl as a cousin.

Death just plain does not give a fuck either way. She is more the abstract entity of apathy than death at this point.

This issue was so fucked up, after Annihilation portrayed that guy as a Herald level asskicker that slaps Surfer around like he is nothing only to get his shit pushed in by *not* Supergirl and he then whines and runs away for the rest of the event.

She did lift stormbreaker without being worthy which requires overpowering Odin's enchantment, and some writers like Starlin here have strontians > surfer

>dat ass
thicc

Wasn't the cancer zone they were called for? Still cancer Marv kicked their asses.

>But it is OK when Earth heroes do it. Bias much Marvel?

Yeah strontians do crazy shit with explanation only being courage = strength. look at Vulcan, he can regenerate from a black bolt scream but Gladiator punches him in the eye and it is just gone forever

I love how the Eternals are just Jack Kirby's take on his own New Gods but at Marvel.

Sorta but not really. New Gods are working forward, Enternals are working backward.
