Avengers - Heroes arrived. They stand as a group, are introduced with names. This makes this sceneimportant. And is an overview who are on the table.

Lanterns - Introduction, maybe recap of the issue before, of the various Lantern colors. They show that they are strong and what motivation there is.

Lantern Corps- Display of diversity and how many there are. Most important characters are centered in perspectivity. It illustrates that they are a big fighting force. If we only show 6 Lanterns, the might of this force and threat would be considered low level.

fight vs Black Lantern fight - shows that there is a clash between armies, not a handfull vs a handfull. A heavy and complex fight is illustrated.

C&H - just a splashpage to show how both are procrestinating. Scene shows how calm it is.

They all have a purpose for the storytelling and the look and feel of the story. Its like saying leonardos last supper is too crowded, why 12 apostels? 4 would be enough. Or Michelangelos creation of adam or last judgement is too crowded. It all have a purpose, if his argument is to compare it to that C&H pic, than he doesnt understand it and ry to troll.

a) This constitutes objectification
b) Objectification is a problem
c) Objectification is something done to women by men and not all the time by everyone to everyone else
d) Seeing a female characters' great body form does diminish one's opinion of this character

Seriously, sex is power. An attractive character does project power, and influences those around them.
A notably mediocre-looking character like Shocker projects no power, commands no attention past his threat.
Nobody takes Squirrel Girl in her buck teeth, brown dress and middling looks seriously, which is fine because she is meant to be a joke. Deadpool is all about hiding his ugly face because his deformity elicits disgust and pity. A commanding presence in a still medium requires aesthetically pleasing looks. And it is incredibly harder to make a person look less than perfect in a consistent way. It's like trying to a spoke on the dart board rather than aim for the middle.
So small wonder that corporations who need to have dozens of artists draw the same character as a heroic icon would tend towards well-proportioned looks and appealing visuals.
Now, the costume presented here is not a very good one because it de-emphasizes the upper face and pushes out the midsection with brighter colors, which does indeed lead attention away from her personality.
But there are other reasons why this is a bad idea other than the supposed oppression of fictional characters.
Like how this makes it more difficult to have her emote effectively. Or how you center focus on the thing that will move the least relative to the rest of the body, obscuring the motions in a panel which makes it more difficult to figure out what is happening. Also she looks like a character in Bayonetta and has little of her other costumes built into the design, making it practically unrecognizable as the same character.
