I don't see how MLP being really popular is a bad thing, or any sort of proof that bronies are "worse" than SU fans....I mean, I am and MLP fan so maybe I'm biased but really I don't see how that's a point. There isn't a point because you make it sound as if they bullied a mentally healthy girl so hard they drove her to suicide. What happened is the same level of harassment that happened with McCarthy and Ball but it happened to a person who was already emotionally fragile and severely depressed to begin with so her being pushed to suicide was practically a non-challenge. If either of the other two MLP workers had the same problems she did, they would've attempted suicide, too.

Ashleigh Ball didn't get "harassed" in the same way, in that she wasn't bullied. She was weirded out by the fandom at first and it was offputting to her, but she wasn't bullied. Pony fans just came to her bands show and tried to talk to her about ponies.
As for McCarthy, I don't know of any specific incidents and like someone else mentioned, you haven't given a source, but I can overlook that because you know what....I'm sure she probably has gotten some less than positive fan mail, but that happens to everyone who's in charge of a tv show, whether it's MLP, SU, or fucking Transformers. It's going to happen when you're a professional in the industry, that is not bullying an innocent fan because of their artwork.

Also alot of comments here are talking about the Zami incident, and the axolotl incident, but not mentioning the tyrant rex incident or the other two that I have heard of but have no names, mostly because there not memed to all hell.
To add It happened after sdcc, like immediately after a panel, so that helps explain the crowd.
