I haven't seen a venture bros thread around here in a bit, new season is coming up in 2018.

More Depeche Mode jokes.

>New Season 2018
Based on what?

Also more of Dean's college shit.
More Superheroes, I was expecting them to play a bigger role and only Brock's gf showed up.

I wager the heroes will definitely play a part in the special that's coming up which is going to be about that Science Expo Rusty was preparing for.

I just looked it up: screencrush.com/venture-bros-season-7-premiere-2018/
Apparently adult swim teased it in a bumper

also yeah I definitely want to see more dean's college shit, and more of the dynamic between the guild, the OSI, and the heroes. It's probably the most well executed set of fictional organizations I've seen. I love the idea that the bad guys end up just as bureaucratic as the good guys.

the next season better be more than just 8 episodes.

we can hope
any episodes would be better than none though

I find the community and fandom of this show surprisingly awful.
I don't know why but it seems they all like what I dislike and dislike what I like.

Also if "Monarch and Rusty are brothers" is treated as a reveal of some kind, I'll be disappointed.
But I'm also afraid they'll pull some contrived bullshit to make the twist more outlandish and unexpected, and it will actually be over the line.

I've only been bitter until now, but it was a great show in its prime. I didn't think a long hiatus would erode my love so much but here we are, with me being hyper-critical, cynical and ungrateful.
Thinking back of that "Orb" plot for example makes me more and more bitter.

are they still doing a super long episode between season? I might actually have to rewatch previous seasons

You seem like a great person to be around

Really? I never really got the sense this show had much of a "fandom" in the traditional sense. I rarely see it discussed. It seems to be universally well liked around here though.

I unironically want more of Dr.Wife and the Monarch just hanging out

You sound like a bitch.

>the next season better be more than just 8 episodes.

I wouldn't count on it. The reason why the cut it down to 7-8 episodes was to up the visual quality to modern HD standard. The only reason why they feel/are unfinished is because Doc and Jackson hadn't gotten use to the new format. HOPEFULLY they'll get it down this coming season so that they can deliver a proper season finale.

The goth QT.

>he expected The Orb to pay off like this WASN'T a show about failure, squandered potential, disappointment and inadequacy

>Also more of Dean's college shit.
Seriously. He's my favorite character, but he's gotten the short end of the stick for so long - him and Vatred. Dean's angst arc in season five was cut way too soon, too.

I wouldn't say the fandom is particularly awful. It overhypes and tends to ignore criticism, but it's been pretty relaxed in comparison to most Sup Forums fandoms.

>I find the community and fandom of this show surprisingly awful

Never found that to be the case, I've always considered it to be one of the better ones.

>What do you want to see?
A season with a double digit amount of episodes.

Monarch still doing Blue Morpho stuff even after getting rid of his competition, just as a hobby.

Dr Orpheus actually appearing.

I see Monarch becoming Blue Morpho full time and probably having to join a hero's organization/ register himself as an adversary and arching Dr. Mrs.

>Initially he only does it for fun, as her wife is utterly enraged at Morpho
>Then gradually things turn kinky
>Being the case that it's her husband in there, she starts feeling worried and conflicted over the attraction she feels for the Blue Morpho, and the feeling that she's betraying her husband.
>At some point Monarch realizes that he's literally cucking himself... but keeps going.

I completely agree, at least as far as Sup Forums is concerned
Also I need more Triana and Dean

Maybe an episode about what Morpheus, Al, Jefferson have been up to.

I want to see it end before I do. That's all. I just need to live long enough. Shit.

[as] aired a bump a few weeks or a month or so back saying they themselves are surprised that they're still making Venture Bros and confirmed the next season was in production, then said it won't air until some big number of days from now.

Doing the math places the premier in late 2018.

I hate to ask, but is there a Mega or even a torrent for this show? I used to love it when I was younger, but I'm way the ass behind, and it doesn't seem all that easy to find.

Adult swim runs a 24/7 stream on their site that loops the series in entirety that you can watch

surprised because it's their only decent show left? because yeah, that is pretty surprising.

>Also if "Monarch and Rusty are brothers" is treated as a reveal of some kind, I'll be disappointed.
>But I'm also afraid they'll pull some contrived bullshit to make the twist more outlandish and unexpected, and it will actually be over the line.

Already been established on the show they're not brothers. You'd know that if you watched it.

What established that they are not brothers exactly?

The Blue Morpho plotline is def one of my fav. I hope they do an episode like “A Party for Tarzan” again in the season. A more serious tone of writing that moves the plot forward and gives a lot of insight into the characters.

Latest season. Jonas Venture was friends with Blue Morpho. After Blue Morpho died in the plane crash that Monarch survived, Jonas used Morpho's body in an experiment that turned him into the cyborg that would go on to be a member of the Guild's council of thirteen. So Monarch's hatred of Rusty might be rooted beyond some unexplainable jealously when they briefly hung out as kids since Morpho and Jonas hung out with their families.

>Discuss. What do you want to see?
I want Trianna to show up again. Basically for the show to end with Dean as the new Rusty, Hank as the new Brock, and Trianna as the new Orpheus, where they team up and fight bad guys. If only...

How is that proof of anything? We know that Jonas was a serial philanderer, and on top of that he and Morpho were both swingers. It's completely plausible he fathered..the Monarch...who I just now realize has never had his real name fully revealed.

Monarch is Rusty's brother, just not in the way you think.
Blue Morpho is the "mother". Jonas impregnated him during one of their crazy swinger parties

>I want Trianna to show up again.
>The goth QT.
This so hard. It's a shame that Doc has come out and said she's basically never showing up again and belongs to the things Dean had to grow up out of.

Fucking bummer, dude. At the very least I hope the new season has some Orpheus, he was missed and part of what made the latest season kind of bad.

This latest "season" was such bullshit.
It was obviously only half of a real sesaon

I'm betting its not brothers but Jonas fucked with Monarchs brain to make him forget about the plain crash. But it just made him paranoid, unhinged and with an unexplainable vendetta against Rusty. What would be the ultimate conclusion of a series about failure? That the conflict that shaped it from the start was never meant to be and everything else was red herrings. Especially because Monarch actually succeeds in everything not related to Rusty. He won back Dr. Girlfriend. Dicker over Phantom Limb repeatedly. Got the Moppets killed. Successfully dispatched some of the Guilds biggest players. If it wasn't for his obsession with Rusty, he'd likely be running the guild. A disappointing conclusion would be the point.

Wow only 2 years this time? That would be a treat if it came out in 2018.

adjust your boobs

There's a special coming up soon?

None of that's confirmed.
I assume.
user...no.
Though I do want to see some of the Night School.

Reminder that Venture Bros. went to shit after the end of season 4.

The only thing that got worse after season 4 was the production schedule

I'd like to see them go on some more adventures and get out of NY for an ep or two. NY is a fine setting and I get they kinda need to be there for plot, but I always liked the zany adventures in different locations. The action just doesn't seem as over the top if you always use the same setting.

I'd also like more self contained episodes. I know it hasn't been that way for a while, but I feel like more and more they're focusing on the big picture and not caring as much about each individual self contained story.

As much as I love blue morpho and everything going on with the guild, I hope they wrap up te current arc by the season finale. Not saying I dont want morpho to stick around, I just hope they keep the story moving at a strong pace. They kinda blew their load by weapping up damn near EVERYTHING in Gargantua 2, which made it a fucking amazing special. But I don't see how they can ever top it.
