Should I buy both volumes of Green Lanterns today when picking up a bunch of manga at my LCS and for those who have read Vendetti's X-O Manowar how do you think it compares to his Hal and Pals? I've only read the first trade but it shows he can do fast paced and exciting stories, his Hal and Co series seems like a complete slow burn that has an excellent issue here and there in a sea of average.

beware tho, the first trade is below average, with a really drawn out story (thats the curse of doubleshipping I guess), but it gets better
the character interactions are gold, and the second trade features a great new enemy
