Do they honestly think anyone cares at this point?
I just hope they finish it
Right. They'll finish Rumble and Fix, just like they'll finish Sabrina.
...
The end
I dropped Sabrina after the dad came back in the boyfriend body. I am down for the TV show, aso afterlife with Archie.
I never read Rumble but wasn’t it popular or something or did the delays kill it like every other image book
>I never read Rumble but wasn’t it popular
I don't think so
>or something or did the delays kill it like every other image book
Yes
I'd be down to storytime all of it after work
Anyone know how long The Fix is supposed to run for? This issue took forever.
I can't imagine it'll be a particularly long run. Beyond the fact that, like you said, this shit is running into the image problem of hiatus hells which is the death of a series, I got the impression here that Spencer is going to start trying to wrap things up.
At this point, both characters' arcs are coming to their "third acts." Mac's "movie" has now come full circle with him going after the people he was originally working for and Donovan literally tells Roy that all that's left for his "movie" is a third act to pull it all together.
So Mac needs to get the third act to his "movie." Roy needs to get the third act to his. And then all that's left is for the Roy and Mac's plotlines to finally re-converge and then for all the Donovan stuff to get settled. Reckon, there's enough material there that it could go on for a really long time if Spencer/Lieber want, but it also means that we could be entering the home stretch soon.
The trades are 4 issues a pop. So the third trade will be 9-12. I could see the book wrapping up in the fourth trade (one more issue on Mac, one more on Roy, then the last trade dealing with the Roy/Mac plotlines re-converging into a finale) which would leave us at 16 issues total. 16 issues is enough to fill out an Image Deluxe Edition HC for the complete series.
Speculation aside, assuming no delays, 11 and 12 come out in January and 13 comes out in February.
You should if you want to user I’m a fan of Harrens art on a side note he really should get back on BPRD
Yeah solid points, I didn't see it running past 20 issues honestly.
