It's a vastly different time and context. Russia plan isn't the Soviet domination. While they want (and do) to weigh in the geo political balance, Russia has much more to gain in maintaining good relationships with the other world powers.

Well I don't live in Finland or Russia so I can't say from experience what the climate is like in either country. That being said, Russia is definitely showing signs of preparing for war. I think invading Finland's airspace illegally with fighter jets would be concerning to me if I was a Finnish citizen.
