Issue, story arc, graphic novel, doesn't matter. Do you have a single favorite book?
Pic related. Kabuki is my favorite series and if I had to pick one single arc from it it would be Skin Deep. I love introspective fiction and fucked up psychotherapy is really good when employed well Satan: His Psychotherapy and Cure by the Unfortunate Dr. Kassler, J.S.P.S is a fantastic book that uses this. The art is very deep, though I think Circle of Blood is more layered, this is filled to the brim with hidden meanings and makes rereading very worth while. 2nd best story arc I think is Image, I like poetry and the art is fantastic
Jaxon Davis
Although Shame is a close 2nd. Love old fantasy and this is written like an old fairy tale that's been twisted to hell. >old lady wishes she had a kid >Demon plants a seed in her >Has baby >abandons baby to forest prison to prevent demon from getting out >child makes a deal with demon who fucks a dude, shame shifts to a man and fucks her to impregnate her (at 9) >demon murders her mother and puts her soul in her child >gives birth to her mother and abandons her
far too much nudity to storytime here though.. May try it on /aco/ one day, but do people actually read comics on /aco/? or just porn?

Shame...self bump?
Do people on Sup Forums never want to talk about something they like? Is the only reason to come here to be negative?
Jordan Garcia
The Maze Agency
Isaiah Foster
My favorite comic, by far, has to The Kindly Ones arc of the Sandman, as watching all the pieces Morpheus set fall into place gives me chills.
Bentley Bailey
who by?
god...I still haven't gotten through Sandman yet. Vol 2 only. I have to buy it cause I'm extremely lazy when I try to read stuff on the computer. I enjoy reading the best when it's out at a park or something
Landon Cruz
>The Kindly Ones arc of the Sandman Hard to say if this one or Seasons of Mist. I love mythology and folklore and The Sandman is great in this regard, the way it weaves different cultures through it is amazing. Same reason my favourite vidya series is shin megami tensei
Zachary Phillips
damn, thats one rock and roll asian. the 90's called, they w-w-want y-y-you baaaaackk (sniff)
Jonathan Martin
I'm not sure about my favorite, but Shakara is pretty up there for me. So is Beautiful Darkness and Beauty by Hebert and Kerascoet.
Carter Rogers
I really like The Chained Coffin(mignola) and Born to Run(Waid)
Jace Thompson
Just read Satania by Hebert and Kerascoet and it's just as great.
Ethan King
It was by Vehlmann.
Tyler Morris
The entirety of Hellboy
Isaac James
Action Comics #810 is my favorite single issue of all time.
Jordan Bailey
You're right! It was illustrated by kerascoet, though
Nathan Roberts
There's nothing quite like Jim Woodring's Frank. Pick basically any story.
Mason Ross
I liked Asterios Polyp's use of visuals as a narrative tool.
Felt like it was postmodern and doing interesting things with the medium without being wanky. I probably have a higher tolerance than most though.
>do people actually read comics on /aco/? or just porn? They do sometimes, I really like it when they do.
Xavier Collins
>I liked Asterios Polyp's Also its pretty much one great story with interesting characters.
as for OP' question its hard to pick a favorite but right now i've been re-reading the nao of brown and there's just something that entices me REAL HARD, the artwork is a plus but the dealings of the mc, hit close home.
sometimes even a debilitating read.
Liam Long
>They do sometimes, I really like it when they do I'm really surprised by that, maybe I should go by sometime. Do they usually do smut, or "regular" comics that happen to have sex in them?
Kayden Thomas
Nao of brown was special. I wish the author made more comics instead of working on the new star wars.
Carter Williams
The light at the end was the child Shame traded for virtue's soul, right?
Colton Campbell
*picks Weathercraft* *doesn't understand it or even remember a single detail* What now, punk?
James Wilson
it gets colder the more bitter and alone i feel. weather changes mood.
Jace Butler
bumping with "evil is never afraid of showing her/his boobs"
Jordan Morales
Bbbump
Josiah Russell
I've got to say Sandman. It gets to my very soul.
Nolan Lopez
I already loved Doom and Strange from reading Secret Wars and early Ditko as a kid but this comic crystallized everything I love about these two characters into one solid and compelling story and Mike Mignola's art is just fantastic.
Samuel Gomez
Stray Bullets As for graphic novels- I know it's cliche, but Ghost World hit me hard.
Michael Lee
I have to join the others with Sandman, it's really a life-changing comic. Although Cerebus up until #200 is pretty damn good, and Lucifer's ending hits you hard. Transmetropolitan is probaby my favorite in regards to sci-fi elements.
Caleb Campbell
I didn't pick up on that, but that totally makes sense. I just thought it was Virtue but that didn't really make sense to me. Or her mother/daughters boobs she shows off to people too
Jayden Perry
I can’t remember the exact issue, but there’s a Marvel team-up where Iron Man, Spidey, and Doctor Strange have to stop Jean DeWolf’s dad from pinning his crimes on his catatonic son (psychic powers, shit got crazy). I got it when I was a kid, and now that issue is so dog-eared I had to tape the cover on.
