Glad I live in a state that's going to fight it.

>this will only affect Ameritards living in the US
FeelsGoodMan.jpg

What a shame; now we'll have to support the industry by buying comics instead.

I want to shoot that pajeet in the face. Besides, there not going to block anything

>torrenting didn't exist before 2015

If anything 2015 was when I really noticed ISP's cracking down hard on it.

>CNN
Also
>seriously thinking this will affect piracy in any way, shape, or form.
See you in the Win-O thread, retard.

It will affect any servers currently being operated in the US as well. Thusly not only us will feel this change.

How will I get my free internet pizza?

I hope the courts blast him for blocking the fraud investigation.

Slimy fuck needs to learn you can't be a cunt all your life and get off clean.

Stop trying to shit in my internet street.

It will effect no one except Google, YouTube and Facebook who won't be able to get away with half of what they've been getting away with over the past few years.

>It will affect any servers currently being operated in the US as well
Yeah, they will just move outside of US.

>my Netflix subscription may increase slightly because now they actually have to pay their fair share for the monstrous amount of bandwidth they consume

Oh no, what a terrible fate.

This most likely means the death of the chans

Thanks Sup Forums. At least this means the rednecks most likely won't be able to afford internet access

>he think all main servers are in US and not in Gaypope

Finally I will be free.

This is shit for netflix and other simillar services, but it's not gonna affect piracy any way.

Will this affect me uploading art?

>death of the chans
how?

How does this actually affect Sup Forums?

Nobody on this board reads comics.

It doesn't.

A lot of the infrastructure for the canadian and mexican internet is in america. So we're fucking things up for the rest of NA as well. Sorry.

No it wont doomsday fag, it wont have any effect at all

Yes, you can only upload approved moral Christian art

Yeah sure this SOUNDS bad but Disney just bought Fox

OUR BOYS ARE COMING HOME

I never torrent or download anything.

Use readcomiconline, p2p and ddls are for kids.

damn it is even better than i was thinking..

>Use readcomiconline, p2p and ddls are for kids.

sing me a song of kickasscartoons..

>implying Sup Forums will be approved for the nu-internet

What makes you think readcomicsonline is safe?

It literally won't affect anyone here. This is Google fearmongering trying to start a panic simply so they don't have pay more for using crazy amounts of bandwidth.

Huh? Then who the heck keep commenting in storytime threads?

>It literally won't affect anyone here

>Trump has a hard on for renegotiating NAFTA
>Canada is doubling its commitment to NN
>Canada and Mexico force NN on the US.

But my favourite podcaster told me they are going to force us to pay for things that were previously free.

>Use this easily nukeable piracy website
>Storing things are your own HD for safekeeping is for kids

Asshole.

good luck with that user

ITT:Retards everywhere

They wont censor shit. There too afraid of the backlash

>2017
>torrenting comics

Why it won't be safe?

>>Canada and Mexico force NN on the US.

BWAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! JUST LIKE RUSSIANS FORCED AMERIFATS TO FOLLOW OWN NUKE AGREEMENTS!!??

Jap-moot can't afford to pay for a fast access of this site. It will b throttled.

>There too afraid of the backlash

Like from repealing net neutrality? Wendy Williams won't care about internet censorship so why would the normies

Explain how it will. Be specific.

>They wont censor shit. There too afraid of the backlash

sing me a song of GPS trackers in mobile phones.

It had already affected people in the pat.

Internet censorship will make veryone boycott ISps and send the pajeet cuck hate and he may very well get shot

>ISP: "Muahahaha now that pesky net neutrality is gone, we can everything but our billing page for our non-service! Pay up white man!"

>the internet didn't exist until Obama era presidency guyz!

is it a requirement to be a pretentious fag who can't do their own research to post on this site?

>make a statement
>don't post any evidence and then refuse to do so when asked

You have nothing.

So nothing, got it

Who?

>living in a 3rd world shithole

The only effect it will have on those companies is they will have to pay a little more of their massive profits to the ISPs to maintain fast connections.

And any start-up company that wants to compete with them will have a higher bar of entry since they won't be able to afford the extra fast-lane fees.

So enjoy watching all you're non-corporate approved websites slow down and eventually disappear.

They're literally all going to do it. Google is the only ISP that probably won't, but Fiber is essentially spyware anyway, and eventually you'll have to log into it with your google account.

>Internet censorship will make veryone

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! GOD!! THIS FUCKING MORON MAKES ME LOOSE THE JELLIES!!!

economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2013/04/economist-explains-how-china-censors-internet

It is when you're basically bending over backwards to justify being fucked in the ass.

Say hello to rising Netflix rates.

Until 2015, there were no clear legal protections requiring net neutrality. Nothing will change for the common user, just the bigger cats.

so how did people torrent comics 5 years ago before the rules getting scraped were even in place??

Good thing I'm an American where the government doesn't regulate out the ass then.

>ISPs begin to violate us for data
>comfy brick-and-mortar video rental stores make a comeback

Who else is /optimistic/ here

>BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! GOD!! THIS FUCKING MORON MAKES ME LOOSE THE JELLIES!!!

>the Sup Forums sticky

it literally takes 2 seconds to google what net neutrality is. if you guys can sit around all day and bitch about comic movies and sjws ruining everything you like then I feel like you should be able to do research on the platform in which you do those things on.

People will boycott internet to make a statement
>duh lets just take it in the ass theres nothing we can do lets let the internet die like submissive cucks
This is why they got in power in the first place

anyone who is panicking over this hasn't truly thought it through and understood the ramifications of it. It's bad for us but it's so bad for the rest of the internet it will be the crash we were all waiting for.

1) if ISPs are capable of controlling the flow of information, they're responsible for it, meaning that they WILL be accountable if CP or illegal content gets through. These are an immense amount of resources they will have to invest into monitoring millions and millions of clients, a cost they will likely try to avoid by washing their hands off the whole affair.

2)Net Neutrality is good for ISPs but very bad for internet behemoths like google, facebook and the like, they use a disproportionate amount of the ISPs infrastructure meaning that they will have to face astronomic costs. They will have to negotiate and wont be able to conduct their business without scrutiny from their new overlords. Remember Google tried to make their own fiber optic network and got choked out by the cartels. What this means is that popular sites will have a ceiling beyond that which they might not grow beyond, essentially ending monopolies and de-centralizing the internet. This ends the consolidation of media giants and starts the consolidation of service and infrastructure giants.

all in all, i hate change, but this is a change that will drag everyone down with it and i'm pleased that, for a change it's not just us fringe communities getting the shit end of the stick. Everyone suffers, and this will lead to new solutions and rules and a new culture, we're looking forward to an internet 3.0.

3) Freedom of speech being a hot topic on the internet, and ISPs being more liable than actual sites, we will see major changes in policy making on the subject.

Hmmm, I winder why those protections were put in place.

Oh yeah, ISPs were doing shit like blocking Skype so people had to use their phone service.

>Say goodbye to torrenting comics.

I haven't torrented comics since Suprnova.org back when the only torrent client was the mainline one.

I've either had people upload to my 0-day http in the mid 00s, and once people stopped maintaining that I just grabbed shit from the DC channel like everyone else.

Those are bots.

user, the question isn't what net neutrality is, but how it affects Sup Forums

Good thing I only make funny animal art.

>Google
Getting your research from the company who has the most to lose from fair, free market competition is damn near retarded.

I live in Texas, so I'm fucked.

>NSA and FBI creates sofisticated pedo networks to cash in on pedo faggets.

>shit goes smooth and NSA-FBI cashes doubles after it got billions to stop own networks it created before.

>It's bad for us but it's so bad for the rest of the internet it will be the crash we were all waiting for.

good reddit and twitter can go fuck itself.

Both Comcast and AT&T have blocked Sup Forums before net neutrality laws were in place.

>y don't have pay more for using crazy amounts of bandwidth.
You mount the amount of bandwidth directly chosen by users, instead of having ISP forcing those numbers on us?

So net neutrality will pull Google down from being top Jew by removing their ability to unethically exploit the system.

Nothing will happen to you. What exactly do you think is gonna "fuck" you?

I live in Texas & I have Comcast. It's no big deal. Use a free seed box or get a VPN if you want to watch your illegal movies. Or just use the dozens of streaming sites for porn/movies.

NN was an overblown issue anyways.

Net Neutrality is dead.

I get to watch the death of the film industry and the Internet

Best Day Ever

>Burgers will bite the dust

reddit, twitter, tumblr, all those sites that are absurdly heavy in bandwidth usage, all the social shit, all the cluttered normie bait hellholes, it's their apocalypse

Sup Forums might just keep on trucking.

yes, thing is, we don't know if the cure will be worse than the poison.

just hope Verizon, Comcast and all those other fuckers are more business oriented and dont push SocJus shit with impunity.

Things will just go back to the way they were before 2015. Meaning the average person won't notice any change at all.

Funny, I have comcast & had at&t in the past and I had no problem posting here. You are just perpetrating lies to get people worked up for nothing.

>it's their apocalypse
Nah, social media is too powerful to die. Those sites will pay the premium and find a way to pass the buck onto the customer - as always.

>Sup Forums might just keep on trucking.
with even more normies

I'm glad I don't use Comcast, Verizion, or AT&T.

user, they both blocked access in 2009. This is a thing that happened?

>become part of a bitcoin mining botnet, goys

So what's gonna happen? will Netflix get throttled? Will Verizon get the bomb?

Wow so what made them bring it back up user?

>Don't worry guys, this will cause problems for Google and Facebook and will take away some of their power.
>Those big super-profitable companies definitely won't negotiate deals with the big ISPs that will allow them to maintain their status quo and entrench their monopolies by shutting out any smaller competitors. Companies will always naturally compete with each other, they'll never realize it's more profitable to work together to squeeze more money out of their customers when there's no rules to stop them from doing it.

Reason #45345345345 to hate america.
