What do you think the Disney-era Simpsons are gonna be like?

They cancel it and Family Guy, God willing.

shit

Season 16 tier comedy if new writers come aboard

No different from what we've had so far.

>Canceling The Simpsons
>Ever
Good joke user

Disney will never cancel a cash cow

they will milk it fir all it is worth for decades to come

any chance of those shows ever ending was erased out of existence

So no change then?

Same as always: a show that has long overstayed its welcome. Not like they're gonna get any new writers. If they do though, I hope it brings back a bit of that sense of family instead of being Family Guy lite.

Season 16 was when the comedy was as mediocre and so-so as you can get. HD switch was extreme cringe and shit writing over half the time

How will Disney negotiate the voice actors pay? Will they keep their large paychecks or replace them in some fashion?

Kavner will be replaced simply because she sounds like living death.

It's not even a question of if it will improve. Simpsons has actually been bad for so long at this point that no-one would even know or care if it miraculously became good again. It was already a mediocre show when Spongebob debuted, and it was a terrible show by the time 9/11 happened. It has been utter irredeemable shit since around season 14/15. The only way it will ever become liked or relevant again is with a cancellation, a 20 year cooling off period and a full reboot.

Can they finally let Al Jean go?

They won't cancel a cash cow. Also there's enough Simpsons dialogue recorded that they can probably piece together new scripts for decades to come.

"Im the mascot of an evil corporation" They fucking saw it coming.

>cash cow
Is this 1992? The show's ratings could fit in a thimble now. It's only still on the air because no Fox exec wants to go down in history as the guy who cancelled the Simpson.

Its still the highest rated show on Sunday nights.

And even ignoring the show, it makes piles of money in merchandise.

They’ll probably reduce the episodes of a season to save money.

Shut up Doodley

they'll probably make it like "golden era" simpsons because they like sappy moral stories, people will love it and call it a renaissance, the show fucked up when it tried to be edgy like family guy and couldn't keep up, and they can still be as edgy as they were in the 90s because Disney itself is about that edgy now

Probably a few tweaks from very high up the ladder, like some rebudgeting and maybe a mandate about not making any more "Disney is evil" jokes. Otherwise, the Fox people are still going to be in charge of it, same as they always were. The only difference being that the Fox people now answer to the Disney people.

I think they’ll start thinking about how to end it gracefully, then begin plans for some sort of reboot after that.

The merch is really where the money is

Simpsons is dead. Al Jean is bringing back The Critic after Simpsons last season

all the simpson shit over at universal are gonna get moved over to disney hollywood studios

Simpsons is pretty family friendly or can be modified to be without majorly effecting the show, Family Guy will suffer more because every episode has shock humor.
