...

At least Rey is cute.

where were the Knights of Ren?

TFA tried so hard to be good it forgot to be different.

TLJ tried so hard to be different it forgot to be good.

Probably all dead.

RIP.

>TFA tried so hard to be ANH but forgot to be good and different.
>TLJ tried so hard to be different it forgot to be good.
FTFY

Is she sneezing as that is happening?

This movie was a solid 8/10. Prove me wrong

I'd like to know too

Did anyone else get mild sexual tension from Ren and Rey? Or am I just autistic?

>said Luke would turn to the dark side in The Force Awakens
>said Rogue One would become the Knights of Ren and play a big role in Episode VIII
>said Rey was Han and Leia's daughter
>said Rey would turn to the dark side and kill Luke in The Last Jedi

How can one man be so wrong?

I'm autistic and saw none of that

Wait, did they seriously leave the special effects devices IN THE FINAL CUT? Like I see both the flamethrower and the debris shooter on the right side of the screen, clear as day. That is lazy as fuck.

It seemed like we would get more medieval knight sith with a full fucking scene in TFA, then TLJ seemed to have forgot them or wrote them off, unless they were the Praetorian guards then they are dead, and if they were the guards they really got a demotion.

he's bait

It's from the BTS reel you dingus.

I hope they arent the dead praetorian guards.

Anyway, with the way these films have panned out I wonder if this scene is actually a force vision of the future. From the flasback we saw, Kylo wasn't really a thing, so this might be something that may happen in IX with the knights of ren?

Or they are nothing who will never appear again.

I don't think they forgot them, they even specifically noted again in TLJ that Kylo brought back the ones he didn't slaughter

Actually I convinced him of the Rey turning evil one with telling him of Darth Cadeus. But as he believed it more I lost it when I noticed how they pushed Rey to kids.

Either way they are giant pussies if they follow a faggot like Kylo Ren.

...

just come back from see it

if you had a dreadnought why make a starkiller base
also why didn't the pink hair women just tell poe her plan

Not unless Kylo's superglued his mask back together there.

So Kylo is the last Skywalker in whats supposed to be the skywalker saga, this makes me think he will be redeemed somehow.

I thought it was a vision of the past of Kylo murdering Luke's students with the Knights of Ren .

>Don't you have a shirt or something you can put on?
Am I retarded?

I can. It's a solid 9/10

I wonder if JJ is mad at Ryan for shitting on what he was attempting to do with Rey. If anything.

>much of the conflict in the movie could be solved by the characters talking to each other
>subverts expected twists with nothing rather than something interesting
>CGI is mostly weak
>still rehashing the OT
>felt more like a conclusion that a middle
>felt more like three episodes of a Dave Filoni cartoon than a movie
>Finn/Rose subplot is mostly pointless (a filler episode, if you will)
>Most of the characters who aren't Luke, Rey, and Kylo are pointless
>way too much comedy for a movie trying to be grim
>Kylo is still a weak antagonist

So what's her name?

So tell me, What is the story of ST again?

PT: About the start of the Clone Wars and birth of Vader and Empire.
OT: Fall of the Empire and Father Son Redemption and bringing balance.

ST: ????

master race

no, you're right, they were leaning into Reylo

End of the Jedi and Skywalkers

Tallie Lintra

From the flashback we saw in TLJ, it seems that Ben went on a rampage at the temple shortly after Luke tried to kill him. He likely didn't have the mask or red lightsaber then. Luke also mentioned Kylo probably took a few students with him.

Given how it was Lucas mostly saying it was the saga of the Skywalkers and how Abrams, Johnson and Kennedy have completely ignored everything else he said about the Sequels (such as it was about rebuilding the Republic and the Jedi), most likely Kylo is gonna die in the end to end the Skywalker lineage.

>if you had a dreadnought why make a starkiller base
Dreadnought's nowhere near as powerful as Starkiller, needs to physically above the planet to hit and is still vulnerable to the defense force. Starkiller could straight up snipe star systems from across the galaxy, meanwhile the dreadnought only blasted a single Resistance base before it got taken out by a suicide run by some rickety old bombers whilst Captain Canady screamed internally.

He's an idiot that thinks everyone in Star Wars has to be related to each other

this is the only place to ask.
What are the best books post RotJ in Legends continuity. Last Jedi gave me aids and I need a substitute. If there is a list to essential Legends shit I'd be grateful.

literally a roastie

JJ wasn't attempting to do anything with any of the plot points he set up. He literally just went "here are some mysteries, let's see what the other guys do with them."

>Kylo is gonna die in the end to end the Skywalker lineage.
The sheer disrespect from Disney...

>much of the conflict in the movie could be solved by the characters talking to each other
???

>somebody saved my bf2 screenshot

>felt more like a conclusion that a middle
>felt more like three episodes of a Dave Filoni cartoon than a movie
I feel that these two claims contradict each other because to me the ending of TLJ felt EXACTLY like Rebels Season 3 finale.

Am I the only one who is seriously pissed off at the use of words like oppression, resistance, etc?

It made complete sense in the original trilogy because the Empire was a galactic state with all the institutions there for repression, but the First Order has none of that, it is barely anything more than ISIS level terrorists that destroy 5 planets and suddenly they reign the galaxy? Makes no sense.

How I miss Rogue One

No, there is another...

we don't know how many systems are under first order control user, even in the old EU, the imperial remnant had a good chunk of space allocated to it

...

>Hey Holdo, I talked to Maz and we have a plan that could prevent the First Order from tracking us through hyperspace
>Hey Poe, we're going to that planet right there, calm the fuck down
boom, that's two plot threads completely solved by two sentences

The bridge bombing was brutal. Too bad that retrospectively its weight is next to zero since it's only the start of the whole resistance dropping like flies

>this is the type of retard who downvotes movies

They keep saying hope so much and it makes me want to die

My guess is they will be Ben's royal guard in 9. Maybe they weren't all killing the Jedi in that scene but a Resistance base where we'll have the finale.

Hopefully it's better lit.

Name episode IX.

>So tell me, What is the story of ST again?
the curse of the skywalker name, what is a hero? leting the past die, can we malk star wars fans?

>Chewbacca is the first main OT character to be killed off in Legends
>in the nuCanon he's the last man standing
Oh the irony

Return of the Sith

S-she's fast!

>let the past die

>but make money off of all the OT aesthetics and plotlines

I never knew I loved seeing Star Wars fans get so mad.

It was largely an excuse to tear down everything the heroes accomplished in ROTJ so that we can go back to Rebels vs Empire.

?

He may as well be dead. He does nothing.

why?

why?

What's the deal with this "force is female" meme and where did it start?

Also why is Disney so deadset on severing all ties with the original Star Wars?

It could be fall of the First Order, finally crushing what Palpatine started decades before, and the true return of the Jedi Order through adversity.

Plus we haven't had 3 movies yet which helped tack on that "Father Son Redemption" bit on your OT analysis.

Ok, is anyone else fucking assblasted by the creature design in the ST?

Its so dull and boring, the fucking 40 year old cantina scene in mos eisley is a whole lot more vibrant than any ayys I saw in Maz' keep or in the casino planet.

It's easily my biggest beef with the ST, who the fuck is in charge of it?

>let the past die
>words said by the villain who is in the wrong

>only way the heroes win is through the power of the jedi

>he dies redeeming himself thus completing his transformation into Darth Vader

The Force Awakens
The Last Jedi
To The Truth

I don't think he really cares about his theories anymore. He'll say anything that'll get clicks.

The X-wing book series is pretty fucking great.

Someone took a picture of Kennedy with a "Force is female" shirt and it triggered a bunch of autists who now insist it is HARD PROOF that Kennedy is part of a wide conspiracy to kill off all the male characters in Star Wars and turn it into a female-only franchise

By past Rian-Disney means the prequels.

They are okay cashing in on the OT.

he got to fly the Falcon on Crait

Nope, I'm done. Not watching the last movie under any circumstances. Good thing I went to a cheap place to watch it. I hear people pay upwards to $20 in some places. Makes my $5 movie seem like a deal.

>Battlefront II was a glorious celebration of canon and has references out of every orifice
>The Last Jedi had fucking nothing but OT callbacks

ST: sell merch

Fallen Son

He was always Han's satellite character

who like the battle

>Snokes did nothing but brag
At least Sideous tried to convert Luke and tortured him when he refused, laughing like a maniac the whole time

The Last Jedi 2: The Search for More Money

>this mad because there weren't hamfisted references
maybe when a prequel character is the focus of the movie we'll get more callbacks

...

>ship design is lazy
>alien/creature design is lazy
>plots are lazy
the whole franchise is lazy

DID YOU CLAP?

Thrawn Trilogy/Hand of Thrawn Duology
Darth Plagueis/Cloak of Deception/Labyrinth of Evil
Revenge of the Sith
Yoda Dark Rendevous/Shatterpoint/Kenobi

Meh, the map is fun though

It's pretty hilarious that his final speech is a long monologue about how he can't be betrayed, can read Kylo's thoughts, describes in unusual detail what Kylo's about to do, and oh look he betrayed you. Literally bragged about how you can see his every thought and he still surprised you.

But Yoda also tells Luke to leave the past behind

what "battle"
nothing happened

It's downright shocking we haven't even seen one Twi'lek.

I'm actually somewhat impressed that they didn't spoil more of the battles or scenes in TLJ's ground or space level, though the space level is really weak. I was hoping it was to attack that big dick ship at the beginning.

oh great here come the twi'lek autists
