How did the other things on your ballot work out for you, Sup Forums?

A facebook celebrety almost won an important position in the local school board. he lost by 100 votes.

Who knows - I only had a couple county board members to vote on - but the surrounding districts in my state won resounding republican victories for the house

We finally put term limits on county council members here in MoCo, Maryland.

I voted for an ammendment to my state constitution. It got like 66%... now that I think about it I don't actually know what that means. Is it an amendment now or was it like Brexit? Just politicians asking for public opinion but have zero obligation to carry through with it?

>Nevada
>Question 1: 50/50 with a 9.5k lead towards yes
Are you fucking shitting me? When did this state become so fucking cucked? Our soldiers are now going to get fucked for leaving their guns at home.

Christ alfuckingmighty.
>Question 2: legalization of marijuana, yes
Considering all the welfarefags and druggies here, not surprised.
>Question 3: open electric energy market, yes
>Question 4: tax exemptions on medical equipment, yes
Poorfags not voting for Jews, that's a given.
>Question 5: continued taxation on gas for public roads
Uh, where the fuck did it go? I can't find results for this.

Bad, Cali passed the ammo ban...

>weed bars are now legal
>minimum wage increased
Feeling pretty ok with everything except for an amendment that makes future amendments to my state constitution nearly impossible. Actually mad as fuck about that one.

Fucking awesome

in nebraska they reinstated the death penalty and it sucks.

Seattle/Olympia fucked us over. AGAIN.
Patty Murray and Jay Inslee are still in office.
They also approved an initiative for a min wage hike with sick day leave that will probably fuck me over and reduce my hours even more.

Bad in MA. We passed weed, made bullshit farmer laws so people can feel good about the animals BORN FOR SLAUGHTER and we all pay double for food now, blocked a casino from "ruining" a slum neighborhood, and Democrats, specifically liberal ones, won the general court senate and state rep in my district. I needed Republicans to win those seats so I could get their support when running for a local government spot next may.

I'd be completely bummed about all of this, except my candidate is the President of the United States.

WTF? What kicked that debate off?

implying that's not a good thing

was utter shit.

>$2/pack cigarette tax
>background check required for all ammo purchases
>plastic bags banned
>recreational marijuana gonna bring in even more smelly bums

some years ago legislature put a bill in place to stop the death penalty. People wanted to repeal it.

Democrat Evan Bayh lost to Republican Todd Young in Indiana! I voted a straight Repub ticket. House, Senate and Executive office along with local elections. It's a sea of red in this country now kek

you have to be shallow as fuck to think the death penalty is good. The numerous times an innocent person has been executed. The numerous times an innocent person would have been executed if it wasnt for evidence.

It is ridiculous

OKC fag here. was alright.

>Keep minor drug offenders out of prison.
>Seperation of Church and State
>Money saving fund from keeping all the stoners out of prison.
>more execution methods.

bad desu
But I live in one of the most liberal counties in the country so that's life.

Renacci and Portman won

Portman was Pro TPP but I don't vote for democrats and I think we can threaten congress enough and have Trump kill it.

Some people need to die. stop being a pussy.

Hope you don't work retail. Those minor drug offenders will be the bane of your existence now that they are no longer in check.

All Red cuck, all red, stay indoors.

We wouldn't want your liberal ideas to get stomped out in right wing america.

I still think the good outweighs the bad, going to save a ton of money for the state. People getting caught with an ounce of weed shouldn't be spending 5+ years resulting in us spending over $30k a year on em. Shit is ridiculous.

Oh sorry I forgot it isn't legal there yet.
Yeah I guess it is better then. I would still say shorter sentences > leniency though. 6months or something rather then years for a few leaves.

Legalized weed. No condoms needed in pornos. Banned plastic bags.

Do you just not understand the idea of the justice system making mistakes? Stop being retarded

>No condoms needed in pornos
w-what?

We are getting the medical ballot in 2018 which is pretty exciting considering everyone here is a bunch of nutty Christians.

there weren't many choices on my ballot, most were running opposed

however, my state did manage to legalize pot. If trump doesn't cuck me I can finally smoke without feeling unsafe every second of it.

It is more annoying then anything else. I work retail in Washington and it is dealing with stoners all the damn time. The smell is the worst part. Fucking reek and it lingers in the air. And naturally they aren't in any hurry to leave.

I share your feels... hoping to leave califailya soon.

Allowing someone who has dismembered and raped children or something of the sort to live is so unjust. especially spending millions to feed the scum for the rest of their cozy life. I understand that a misjudgment is possible, but it's very unlikely.

Well, Arkansas is a Medical Mary J state now.

Also we degenerate weed state now.

I just think it's going to be good for our jail system and people as a whole once it's legal everywhere. such a nuisance of a crime.

I used to live in Olympia. Some fun people up there.

It is a mixed bag man. It leads to a increase in petty crimes though. The whole broken windows theory. Hopefully it works out well for you guys.

Anything less important than district representative is literally who tier in Pennsylvania. I tried to find information on these people (AG, Treasurer, etc.) and I couldn't find anything more than a ten year old picture and a party affiliation.

Tim Murphy is a nice guy and I met him personally so I voted for him.

Pat Toomey is a neocon and McGinty is a libtard so I didn't put a vote for either.

The amendment thing was something about forcing judges to retire at age 75, which is a skeleton tier age anyways.

You definitely aren't wrong. Not everything about it is all rainbows, but I think it's a good direction.

costs more money to execute someone then to keep them in prison for life, It isnt as unlikely as you think.1/25 on death row is innocent.

That isn't acceptable and it is digusting that people think that it is ok to kill someone just because a couple people on a jury decided that he was guilty.

Stop giving BS examples that are trying to appeal to emotions instead of reason because you are making yourself look stupid.

Maybe instead of using expense chemicals we could use a cheaper method. Like a bullet.

...

East Texas here.

Unfortunately but not unexpectedly got fucked on our congressman. Incumbent republican who is in favor of the Marvin Nichols reservoir, which would flood a fuckton of our land for Dallas to have more water, kept his seat. Not to mention he's not even from Texas. Voted for the Libertarian candidate, tried to spread the word, but not a lot of people actually cared about voting on it even though I've heard plenty bitch and raise hell about it.

Good. NJ didn't authorize the spread of Atlantic City degeneracy and shitty casinos and approved more money for transit and infrastructure.
