Who was in the wrong here?

Who was in the wrong here?

both. Homer for being more retarded than usual and Grimes for being a total cunt who couldn't appreciate someone else's accomplishments

You for not being able to think for yourself and come up with your own opinion.

Why did he have to go so far to prove a point?

her

Grimes.

Sooner you realize that life isn't fair and that sometimes people who were born into/lucked into more powerful/wealthy living situations... the sooner you can drop that pointless hatred. Work hard to do the best you can and be happy with yourself Sup Forums... don't cry every time you don't win the lottery.

>criticizes Homer for getting a job just for being there when the plant was opened
>got the job just because Mr. Burns felt pity for him

Homer.
The whole point of the episode was to show what was wrong with the system & society in general. Grimes just had the balls to point it out. Reward fat incompetent fucks..?? What were they thinking? What Grimes failed to realize (or he did but felt helpless) was that stupid trailer trash are breeding faster than smart people.

Why didn't Frank Grimes just rape Homer?

Homer got his job to placate safety concerns, Homer was passionate but unqualified and quickly lost his interest and was unqualified.

Grimes fucking saved Homer and yet, nobody liked him.

I've kinda developed my own interpretation of this episode.

Both Frank and Homer are cartoon characters, just complete opposites. Homer is the goofball who goes on all sorts of adventures, Frank's just the cartoon character made to suffer for the audience's amusement. Think Charlie Brown or Kenny. The status quo saves Homer's bacon time after time, while in the case of Grimey it makes it so he accomplishes nothing. Nothing he does will make his life better, since he has to be back at square one for next week's misadventure.

I mean, look at Mr. Burns in this episode. Due to the status quo he can never remember Homer's name despite all the misadventures they've had together. It's something that's brought up for comedic effect at times as well as the reason Homer still has his job. On the flipside, Burns wants to give Frank a high-ranking job after seeing a news story about him, but when Frank arrives Burns has forgotten about him like he does Homer.

When Frank meets Homer, he's seeing an incompetent boob that everyone loves, should have been dead many times by now, has a beautiful wife, a genius daughter, a son that owns a factory, has done incredible things and is never fired from his job. Homer is everything that Frank is not, like the universe is favoring him or something. It breaks him, and because he's joined the cast of The Simpsons the status quo doesn't save him in the end.

Being a cartoon character like Homer may seem nice, but if you were in Frank's shoes it would be a never ending nightmare.

>hurr life isn't fair so you should never ever complain about unfairness in any way
You can smell the upper middle class off this post

Both at different points

Homer for being more of a moron than usual and not backing Grimes up when he basically saved his life (or did he I forget how the ep played out at parts?)

Grimes when he acted like a cunt to Homer when he was just trying to be a nice guy and invite him to dinner and when things spiraled near the end

Grimes for being an envious fuck and not staying in his own lane. He could have been a really accomplished person but was too angry that someone that didn't deserve it seemed to have a better life.

YOU DONT DESERVE ANYTHING EITHER YOU FUCK. NO ONE DOES.

Just try to live your own life and get your own goals to strive for.

you can feel the low class won't get off the couchness flowing from this post

This

He's right though. The cosmic lottery doesn't discriminate, everyone who's born has equal odds in the RNG of life. Whine all you like about how it isn't fair, but in the end it won't change anything. What WILL change things is acting.

Grimes for being an entitled, whiny jackass who drives himself insane trying to "expose" someone who never actually did anything to hurt him and eventually gets himself killed because of it.

t. commie

Grimey.

Homer is an idiot who got lucky but he goes out of his way to befriend Grimey and Grimey tries to destroy him for it.

Homer Simpson

>lel idiocracy

Smells like leddit.

While Homer did benefit from luck, the actual deciding factor in most cases was his networking skills. He got ahead thanks to his friends and family looks good out for him. Grimes isolated himself with his studies, neglected his social skills and his networks, then blamed everyone else for him having no friends or favors. He chose the solo life

grimes continuously g ets a bad deal, he was right to be pissed off at god. of course, god always wins in the end, so his rage was pointless
