Fuck, it's been years since I've seen this. Can this thread now become oldschool flash animation?

Bumpo

youtube.com/watch?v=VU0oT5aQCw0
Why not a general ol' stickman animation?
Either way, not many peope here seem to be interested.

Old-school, my nigga.

Any FluidAnims-fags here? I just watched the last Doors collab recently and it was fucking great.

Apparently there's a new one.

>remember this semi-vividly
>decide to go rewatch it
>it's incredibly edgy, filled to the brim with bad music, and has a random OC on several occasions

I'm not sad to say I no longer feel nostalgia for this stuff.

Stick fights were amazing, shame no one makes them anymore. A bit normie tier but I still enjoyed it
youtube.com/watch?v=npTC6b5-yvM

This will be very polarising. The first 3 of the series were made by someone else and are very, very different.

>Stick fights were amazing, shame no one makes them anymore.
"Hyun's Dojo" should still be doing them, I think.

>A bit normie tier but I still enjoyed it
Nothing wrong with Animation vs. Animator.

Shock:

Terkoiz was THE fucking god of stick animation.

youtube.com/watch?v=hr7leZlxmJo

Holy shit man, I hope this guy a job in animation or something

Yeah, he does. He's got a lot of other stick animations too, which is great.

Oh I remember this one. There were different camera modes and stuff too (that I never figured out). It's still really great.

I used to have a copy of that sword trail script. Notice how it leaves a big trail when the camera angle changes? It's done with code, as well as the camera.

haha it turns out someone did a nicely done crossover between that animation and Hyun's Drunken Stick ( youtube.com/watch?v=RaOdhX9xHwQ )

Yeah. I was pretty butthurt he never showed up in any of the Doors videos, until the last one where he had the biggest part and it was way better than anything else in the whole collab.

Seriously, if you cant be bothered to watch the whole hour of it just skip to 26:30 in the last one. The whole series is good, but it really shows just how far Terkoiz has come as an animator. Man's incredible.

>until the last one
Do you mean 3, or 4?

Doors 3, 15:54 : youtu.be/8nxtWm5c3Qc?t=954
I believe he did the unwatermarked ending video (Pluto implies it in the credits)
Doors 4 he also did the ending.

I wasn't aware of/didn't remember he did the ending of three as well. My point still stands though.

>My point still stands though.
About how far he's come? For sure. And it's great that he has: I'm sick of seeing artists who don't experiment, progress and improve.

poor advertising

Hey, so did the Castle series ever finish? I remember they got out after shit got real,
but the power source was cracked or something.
It's been years since I even thought about it, but this thread reminded me.

Same. I don't know.

11 years have passed since 2007

It's all very disconcerting.

When you watch as much stickfigure animation as I do, you actually become prone to seeing mini genres and sub-genres form.

My favourite oldies is: youtube.com/watch?v=rHxzfRuHTPo

Daddy I love you

I knew a pivot animation would appear sooner or later.
