All this year I'll be posting Punisher comics. Most of them will be from the pre-Ennis era, but some will be from the Ennis era. Expect at least 1 storytime per week.
Yesterday I posted the story of The Punisher going down to New Orleans and fighting a voodoo witch doctor gangster that looked like Papa Shango from the WWF. It's written by John Wagner and is an underrated as fuck comic and you should go read it right now over in this thread: Today we're reading the tale of The Punisher hooking up with some reporter bitch and contemplating giving up his life as a vigilante and settling down and also fighting Iron Man. Kind of. You'll see what I mean.
It's one of the more introspective old Punisher comics. And now that I think of it, it's really one of the most introspective Punisher comics PERIOD. I don't think there are really many comics where he seriously thinks "this lifestyle sucks, maybe I would be happier giving it up", but he somewhat does a little bit in this one.
Anyway, it's an alright comic with a strong "adventure story" feel to it, so let's check it out.
Pretty good story, shows the impact Tony's superweapons could have.
Anthony Cruz
I enjoyed this bit. Seeing Frank from another's pov can be used quite effectively from a storytelling perspective. And it's not the usual "some guy cowering as Frank rains hell," or "goons in a warehouse."
Jackson Roberts
That's a VERY simplistic cover, though it DOES look nice especially with the jungle setting.
Noah Lopez
I made a wallpaper out of that. This might look like shit. Let me know what you guys think of it. I had to do it in MSPaint, so it might not be the cleanest looking, but I did what I could.
Elijah Thompson
I remember thinking this was a pretty good twist when I first read it.
Elijah Bell
>hides behind a tree
really?
Aaron Richardson
Are they trying to make me gay?
Jack Young
This is a strong setup for a plot. Are there any other "mystery" style Punisher stories?
Kayden Campbell
so is he gonna fuck her?
Christian Phillips
this is surprisingly deep lol
Isaac Thompson
>could be just a coincidence
yeah no
Henry Sanchez
good stuff user
Jason Lopez
JUST FUCK THE BITCH!
Joshua Russell

I've always wondered why Iron Man would go around dressed in a costume that looks like a weird robot version of a "knight in shining armor", but seeing the suit here from The Punisher's perspective, this is absolutely PANTS-SHITTING. Like this would be genuinely HORRIFYING to experience irl.
Excellent page, excellent reveal, excellent moment in general.
Nolan Howard
Thanks OP, gonna continue in 2018?
Ian Wright
No. I just wouldn't have the time. It was already insane keeping up even the pace that I have this year. If I could get an automated program to post shit for me I'd share comics with you guys every single day. But irl it's just too much.
Brody Cook
man this one is great, thanks for posting user.
Michael Perry
>M-2 Browning vs. an Iron Man suit
I just love that this is an actual thing that actually officially happened in the Marvel Universe.
Adam King
I think this might be my favorite single page in the entire issue.
Jeremiah Long
Reading these profiles is almost depressing. Comics used to be made by people with interesting lives and experiences to draw from for their comics. Now the entire industry is idiots who've only ever seen the rest of the world through media.
Eli Kelly
No problem.
Gabriel Jackson
agreed
Carter Green
No problem.
Charles Myers
No problem.
David Butler
Does this remind anyone else of Jon Sable, Freelance?
Benjamin Allen
bamp
Owen Miller
This is one of my favorite Punisher stories. I wish CJ Henderson had gotten to write more comics.
Bentley James
I'm sad to hear that, I've read so many of your Punisher storytimes over the last few months.
