A moped on the other hand is a legitimate motor vehicle that you need taxed, MOT'd and insured, I know with a provisional license you can't drive on motorways but that doesn't stop you driving on dual carriageways and other main roads. Legally some mopeds can't exceed 28mph but they all do anyways and the police don't give a shit, so because of that you'll have kids darting along the A90 at 55mph. Drivers won't really care because the mopeds keep up with the flow of traffic and don't cause jams, but is it right to trust these kids? All they need to do to get on the road is pass a single CBT, wait 2-3 weeks for the license to be mailed and start driving. I just hope they revise the Highway Code desu.
