Do people even still care about this show anymore?

Do people even still care about this show anymore?

It baffles how it's still alive after all these years

I do. And it has only 8 episodes, and a pseudo episode, left so you need not fret.

>It baffles how it's still alive after all these years
it basically defined a generation

for better or for worse

Show us some examples of it "defining" anything.

It's one of those things that, whether you love it or hate it, has probably changed western cartoons for years to come
it's not as popular as it was in the states but it's still going strong overseas and in mexico

Adventure Time really felt like the beginning of a noticeably new era for Western cartoons, or at least shows on CN.

Why every single AT thread starts with someone asking why the show is so bad, why there are people caring about the show or why it still exists during hiatus?

I gave up on it when the started giving background characters episodes. Did we really need to know about Nurse Pound cake's life?

>it's still alive after all these years
Is it? Pretty sure bubbline shitters doomed this to obscurity the likes even Korrafags can pity.

I think it's hilarious that you say that because normally in a show that people actually like they would be psyched to see the background characters given episodes. Adventure Time's staff is so incompetent they can't even make likeable minor characters.

I still care though I don't know that the endingwe'll get will have more emotional closure than Islands did.

I still see it as bandwagon trash from the point it popped in popularity.

It's still on?

bait

Writers have gone on record saying they hate Finn, so yeah. They'd rather write some randy character than the main character of the show

gimme a source on that bby

that was one specific boarder (Tom Herpich) who changed his tune later after seeing how a different boarder (Jesse Moynihan) characterized finn, not any of the usual outline writers

to be fair the fact that it turned out to be nurse poundcake's life of all people was the punchline

that was a comfy episode of jake bonding with his kids, chill out

I'm watching it right now actually!
Elements is fun.

yea, I came back to AT a few months ago after stumbling onto this clip.

thought it looked interesting and started watching what I missed. I think it got a lot better, though I can understand people not digging it anymore. Season 5 and some of 6 is pretty hard to redeem.

I only care about the porn desu

Still waiting on that source. This is just made up babble.

It was Wolfhard, not Herpich

Just shippers and waifufags mostly.

>Hating on The Diary
shit taste.

Yeah, it's one of the few good cartoons airing right now. It never got bad imo.

It's a legacy show. Most stopped watching it (like me) but at the same time it started out as a genuinely good show that has drastically shaped popular culture for better and worse. So it will be missed. It's helps that unlike other shows with such influences it hasn't devolved as bad as something like Family Guy or The Simpsons. Sure it has its garbage seasons but it's more up and downs rather then whole years of downs.

It started with a bang abd is sadly going out with a whimper

All will be forgiven if these last 8 episodes are done well and provide a decent sense of closure; unfortunately this is probably a hopeless dream, but I want to believe.

This. It got worse in the middle but not bad. Right now it's even at it's best
