Using Daleks is cheating.

...

...

...

Is using the Forerunners considered cheating?

Or the Covenant?

daleks could simultaneously beat most sci-fi races and be outmanuevered by a dude running down a corridor, they really are just like the gem authority in that sense

it's honestly a bit unfair to even try to powerlevels the gems, we have seen literally none of their infrastructure

use the current star

This doesn't sound fair but whatever.

Do Putties count as a race?

Necrons

Ack?

I always wanted to see The Daleks fight the Green Lantern Corp

>The verse as a whole is fairly powerful, it contains a large number of advanced technology artifacts like warp pads, replicators, powerful weaponry and massively FTL ships. Almost every relevant character has relativistic to FTL reactions and at least small island level of durability and destructive capacity with some country-continent level high tiers plus a planetary threat.
>The Crystal Gems have thousands of years of battle expierence and are very agile and skilled fighters at HtH combat and long distance combat through the use of special weapons and long reach techniques of some fusions. It's a basic ability of every gem to be able to regenerate since their physical forms are actually only a projection coming from their gem, and bubbling and teleporting away items and persons is a recurrent ability used by the Crystal Gems in the show. It's also worth noting that gems have nearly unlimited stamina since their power source is the entirety of the universe's matter-energy, and thus they don't need to eat or rest. Some gems like Amethyst enjoy doing these things, regardless.

this

Realistically, homeworld wouldn't stand a chance against even humanity.

I didn't mean humanity

To be honest we've never seen anything close to the full might of the gem army. Some parts hint at them being a massive Borg collective tier planet-wiping threat only with technomagic. Others hint at them being a sparse and struggling planet-hopping scavenger race with massive internal weaknesses. It all depends on scale (which we've only had small glimpses of).

>Gems invade modern Earth
>Human soldiers make a game out of who can collect the most gems.
>Certain gems award more points.

...

What are some races the Gem empire CAN beat?
Gungans?

>To be honest we've never seen anything close to the full might of the gem army.
the full might of the gem army is still scarred shitless of that ONE renegade pearl (armed with swords AND a spear)
it's safe to say that thr gem army sucks balls, just like everything else in this shit show

God damn it I need this now.

Shit, the Daleks fighting virtually anyone but the Doctor would be way more interesting than the last ten or twenty Dalek stories.

Porgs

Not a race but let's be fair it would be a slaughter

Don't be obtuse. That was just personal guard and the only ones scared shirtless were the grunt Rubies they brought in for cannon fodder. Also with a heavy dose of unreliable narrator. We've haven't seen so much as the full-out ground battles of 6000 years ago, much less whatever their modern spaceship fleet looks like or is capable of today.

Scared shitless about 5,000 years ago. Still weird for a space race like the gems to be using primitive tech back then, but nowadays they have more space tech and could probably wipe us out with little to no effort even today. We'll probably get something like that shown when the plot actually get's off it's ass and decides to happen.

>Daleks fighting virtually anyone but the Doctor would be way more interesting than the last ten or twenty Dalek stories.
Yeah, remember when they were fighting the cybermen? That was great, seriously this entire scene is Dr. Who gold
youtube.com/watch?v=ZN19oHTv_Vg
>Dalek vs Angels when?

Do Gems have mind control?
Showa Ghidorah was vulnerable to it and got controlled by a few alien races to destroy Earth

youtube.com/watch?v=VmMxz4cMKuc

It COULD work against it but i'm not sure, Godzilla continuity is fucked up and in a few showa movies he(they? i mean each head has its own thinking brain so theyre technically separate minds but whatever) was just destroying things for the sake of it without being controlled

>When the plot gets off its ass

Like thats ever gonna happen

The Dragons from MLP. They eat gemstones.

...

They might even have Ian Tregillis' Clackkers beat for raw strength.

...

ez

"realistically" the gems would just wash the oceans over the continents and drown us all

epistle 3 is just a dream, just a fantasy

>the combine are practically elder-god levels of massive and opposing entire multiverses
>nothing you ever do in any of the games can even dent them
>they probably don't even give a shit about the Earth at this point and will just demolish it to cut their losses
>even if they just leave the planet is irreparably damaged
Jesus Half-Life turned out depressing, didn't it?

A single gem is a perfect warmachine. The Diamond Authority is a mess of inefficiency and incompetence.

Hey, this guy has more videos
youtube.com/watch?v=jGDMbSR5F5U
The fucking superman part

>This is not a war
>This is cyber-bullying

You're giving gems too much credit. Maybe Jawas?

>the advisors looked liked grubs because they were literally just grubs in comparison to the true Combine
>the Machine is greater than the sum of its parts, even the Citadel is a mere cell

Anyone could beat the Gungans. Gungans+Jedi would be tricky though.

The homeworld would make a nice McDonalds

Deleks are the superior trash talkers.

For him and his tiny robotic companion, it would just be another Monday.

...

Realistically the cluster would have emerged by now.

Remember that time Pearl was incapacitated by ketchup or Amethyst tripped of a cliff and made herself restarted or a single stab wound could effectively put them out of commission?

"War Machine" my ass. They might have superpowers but they are squishy as fuck. Bullets and bombs would easily work on them.

They'd beat the empire before they'd beat the Jawas.

This
Homeworld is fucked if the Xiliens decide they want to conquer it. Double fucked if the Space Hunter Nebulans want to send in Gigan
The gems themselves are basically all Toa of Light aren't they?

They're less squishy than humans and they have better tech.

...

The Irken are about as incompetent as the Diamond Authority, I'd say stalemate there

Send the entirety of /k/ into the gem empire. It'll be done withing a week
>A bunch of retards in Eastern European military surplus clothing armed with Mosin Nagants, SKSs, and WASR-10s rush the Homeworld armies
>Punji pits with dragon dildos instead of spikes
>the Rhodesiaboos and traps pick off gem soldiers with shots to their gems
>Some /k/ommandos begin pouring crushed gems into shotgun shells as a special shot
>Reloading autists reload gems into rifle bullets

...

Don't forget about the part when Alyx destroyed the one chance humanity had at ever defending themselves properly from the Combine forces, even if it took a thousand years to properly develop it.

God, i really need to visit that board sometime, it sounds batshit insane. Also, wouldnt alot of them chain them up and keep them as sex slaves, especially the hot ones?

>Homeworld fleet approaches Spherus Magna
>Great Spirit robot swats the entire fleet out of the sky

Superior tech, yeah, but they're way squishier than humans. Humans are tough af

Wasn't that mooned to death?

Showa Ghidorah had destroyed Venus(Mars in the US dub) and tried to destroy Earth on his own volition in Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster before Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra made him fuck off

Mata Nui had the one prototype great spirit body he used to fight Teridax when he controlled the Great Spirit robot

Slavs

They do care about the earth because it has one thing they don't: in-universe teleportation

...

It would be hard to find a species that the Gems COULD beat lol

*blocks your path*

The Covenant as a whole could easily wipe them out, but I think even the Sangheili by themselves wouldn't have much trouble with them.

An earth where humanity aren't idiots. If we realized there was a race of gem-based aliens threatening earth we would have reverse engineered their technology and fought back.

In a few years we'd have teleported a black hole generator into the core of Homeworld.

We can die from falling in the bath.

>Aperture Science started out as a shower curtain business
>CEO is a deranged idiot whose entire model in life is to just throw shit at the wall and see what works
>mfw The create Portal teleportation technology which the Combine can't do and desperately want
>mfw they also create multiverse teleportation technology which not even the Combine can do or are even aware of this tech
>mfw They only use this power for illegal labor
>mfw The spent millions on an anti-apocalypse measure where the laboratories and its security will still work no matter what even when humanity dies
>mfw This seemingly stupid nonsensical waste of money is actually the only thing preventing the Combine traveling and taking over multiple universes
Is Aperture Science OP?

They have the tech to be devastating, but they literally are just too stupid to accomplish their goals. If it wasnt Steven universe soyboy society the united states would have repelled them easily.

The Chad Rock Lords
The Virgin Gems

Literally any fictional civilization with FTL travel would wipe the floor with them.

The Covenant, the Imperium of Man, the Galactic Empire (or even the Rebel Alliance), take your pick. Hell, the average rookie starfleet commander would kick the shit out of them.

The gem empire barely survived an uprising on some shithouse backwoods colony world, and is still barely being held together by the ability of Yellow Diamond to maintain a lie. Their resources are stretched so thin they've only been able to spare less than ten troops to attempt to secure the most powerful weapon they could theoretically have at their disposal. This isn't the way a galaxy wide super power operates. Never mind that their "battle hardened super soldiers" keep going native or going insane and then MIA.

Om nom nom nom

>>mfw they also create multiverse teleportation technology
what

I remember there was a awesome text about the diference between the Gems and Darkseid in a similiar thread, but I don't remember how it goes.

They won't be virgins for long after meeting the the Lords of Rock.

The community levels are in canon as being a set of aperture science multiversal testing. Because they wanted to get cheap labor.

Nids would just ignore gems though.

Hello.

We seen the Irken blow up or conquer more planets on screen that the Gems.

ah, the map editor thing
completely forgot about that

>a species that in its in its infancy rose up and destroyed the literal gods that created them
>beat more advanced prehistoric human empire that utilized said gods technology to an extent they couldn't
>said gods got so pissed they turned themselves into the flood to get revenge on then and overran there entire empire and still lost due to the forerunners foreseeing there defeat and designing a superweapon to wipe them out.
>100000 years later and there still worshiped as gods and there tech can basically bring the galactic powers to there knees in one move.
>and there still in the fucking shadows pulling strings

nothing beats the forerunners, there like galactic cockroaches

bullshit. how do you reverse engineer a rock?

Better tech, but poorly developed combat.
They have decent long-range explosives and FTL ships but they equip their soldiers with hand-to-hand weapons. Not to mention how poorly the diamonds deal with terrorism.
If we could get a hold of some ships and reverse engineer FTL spacecraft we would have a decent chance of just outright murdering them all. Nukes are leagues stronger than what we have seen shown off and if we didn't have to worry about irreparably damaging our atmosphere we would be more than trigger happy to set fire some gem planets.

here, upon retrospect I realized that almost ALL of the races from the Ratchet and Clank series could do the Gem Homeworld in (barring the Fongoids and Tharpods. The former is useless due their level of technology while the latter would only be useless if their two top thinkers aren't working on a way to protect their home planet).

The real question is WHICH race would do the most collateral damage to Homeworld.

>How do you reverse engineer a rock?
You don't reverse-engineer the rock, you reverse -engineer the rock's technology.

I think the thing about King Ghidorah is that it's enormously easy to convince him to destroy something else - he, after all, was created as a contender to creation. It's one of those things wherein you really don't want to be the one holding the leash once he's finished his work.

A single Lapis could've wiped out humanity in less than a day

How so? Please elaborate.

Not really she was a threat because A)Nobody was aware of her and B)Steven's pacifism.

A single bullet could've easily taken her out and returned back the oceans.

>Lapis
>doing anything
>ever

They're basically The Borg, but insect-themed.
