There were never any good Canadian cartoons.

They ranged from terrible to mediocre at best.

>Ed Edd n Eddy

Only half Canadian

>made entirely within Canada
>half-Canadian

Shut up, Scradley.

...

>Not watching Mysticons

It was funded by Americans

Yeah

Shut up

HOLY MACKEREL! WHY WAS THIS SHOW SO QUOTABLE YOU GUYS!?

>holy shit I remember this
>what was it called?

Have you never seen somebody's face and not remembered their name before?

Fucking autist.

...

Stickin' Around.

Anyone remember those stick figure segments from Liquid Television? Same creator.

How on Earth did they approve this to be aired on Canadian TV to children? (skip to 4:30).

It aired after 6 pm. You can get away with anything after six.

I heard it was good.

I’ll give a shot later this year.

So Canadians, which voice acting talent pool did you guys like most.

Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and/or Montreal?

Vancouver always. High profile shows and good anime, btfo of everyone in America outside of LA.
Toronto's for oldfags, Montreal is for frogs and Calgary is for the deaf.

AHEM!...WHAT?

SERIOUSLY?!?!

EEnE doesn't qualify as Cancon, meaning very few actual Canadians worked on it. It's a fake.

You have been proven wrong every time this has been brought up.

The only way you could "prove" me wrong is by finding evidence that it is in fact Cancon. Which, needless to say, doesn't exist.

Beyond that, you simply don't understand that these requirements are specifically structured so companies can't get away with claiming a nominal nationality for a production.

Nobody has ever claimed that it was fully Canadian. But numerous evidence has been presented to the fact that it was mostly made by Canadians and would qualify as Cancon had the show applied for it to your bullshit statements. Since you've at no point provided any prove that a majority of the people that worked on this show were not Canadians, you have no argument.

>and would qualify as Cancon had the show applied for it
Nobody has ever presented such evidence, because this is absolute nonsense.

...

So is continuing to claim that "very few actual Canadians worked on it" when has been proven false at every turn.

No, the lack of that status literally proves the opposite.

Cross-referencing the names of the major creative people involve with the show proves otherwise.

Clearly there weren't enough of them, though. That's the issue here.

Canadian certification requirements include a minimun of 6 of of 10 points based on key creatives:
Director - Danny Antonucci, born in Canada (1 point)
Head Writer - Jono Howard, also born in Canada (1 point)
Lead Voice - Matt Hill, Sam Vincent, Tony Sampson, all are born in Canada (1 point)
Design Supervisor - Danny Antonucci (1 point)
Composer of the Musical Score - Patric Caird, has a Juno award (1 point)
Layout and Background done at a.k.a Cartoon AND Funbag Animation, Canadian studios (1 point)
Cross-reference any of these names and it all checks out. And just based on these credits: youtube.com/watch?v=tJ6D1sE1EW4
