"Whoa, Lisa. What happened to your dress?"

"Whoa, Lisa. What happened to your dress?"

"There is no dress. It's just pins. Help me!"

W-what are they pinned to?

Each other. It's chain mail.

There, now it's funny.

That only works if they have safety pin backs, most lapel pins have needle backs with butterfly clutches or rubber clutches.

Yeardley's delivery here is so perfect.

>that quietly insane voice

I actually liked this zombie episode

>making an episode about the 2010 Winter Olympics
That totally didn't date in 5 minutes at all.

I know, right? How did an episode about curling not suck?

It's a shame that the Sochi mascot wasn't Fatov.

I`ve never seen it.
What are some good zombie Simpsons episodes?

Fatov is cute.

Off the top of my head, Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind and Brick Like Me, and arguably The Book Job, since Lisa gets BTFO’d in that one

>Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind
>Holidays of Future Passed
>Brick Like Me
>The Book Job
>There Will Be Buds
>Springfield Up
>Eeny Teeny Maya Moe
>The Devil Wears Nada
>Boy Meets Curl
>Chief of Hearts
>The Great Simpsina
>A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again
>The Saga of Carl
>Diggs
>The War of Art
>You Don't Have To Live Like A Referee
>Halloween of Horror
>The Town
>22 For 30
>Looking for Mr. Goodbart (A-plot only)
>The Serfsons
>Springfield Splendor
>Mr. Lisa's Opus
>Gone Boy
On top of all that, if Matt Selmen is credited as the showrunner instead of Al Jean, the episode is at least worth a look.

We really need to compile all these into a handy reference image.

You know, this episode actually retcons that Armin Tamzarian episode by showing Agnes pregnant with Seymour in a flashback

Well, the whole town IS pretending Tamzarian is the real Skinner.

Most of those (that I've seen) are really mediocre compared to classic episodes, though.

Well yeah, nothing tops classic episodes

Yeah no matter how well written an episode might be the tone and animation just ruins it.

Also the fact that Julie Kavner sounds like living death now.

That actually blew me away.

HER FUCKING SKIN
THEy'RE PINNED TO HER FUCKING SKIN
I SAID IT. I FUCKING SAID IT ARE YOU HAPPY IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED
SHE'S IN PAIN

Curling's kinda fun. It's like boules on ice.

When I first saw it, I thought she was whoring herself out for pins because I did the same for toys and trading cards when I was a kid.

>she takes off the pin dress later in the episode
>she's wearing her normal dress on top of it

>Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind
This should have been the final episode of the Simpson, there are some decent episodes after this one but this was the perfect end.
