Why are so many Sup Forums thread in /trash/? SU, StarVS, Gumball, We bare bears, etc. Sometimes there are even more. Why is this?

Because that's where cartoon generals belong.

Because there's a very vocal part of Sup Forums that get triggered over things they don't like and chase off the generals to /trash/. And then they complain about snowflake SJWs ruining their comic books.

Because it's a better board.

in less than 12 hours that SU general will be allowed back here because of episodes airing, prepare your asses

Surely they are one and the same.

Because people bitch and moan and whine about other people being allowed to have one thread about shows they don't like, so mods decided the best solution was to get rid of the threads to curb autism. Now they bitch and moan and whine about the shows rather than the threads, but at least it's Sup Forums related bitching and not meta bitching.

Because that's where cartoon discussion belongs.

Autism is one hell of a drug.

And why isn't allowed now? Better a general thread that +10 different SU threads

/mlp/ set a dangerous precedent of sending cartoons off the board.

Threads that aren't about live-action capeshit or screenshots of social media don't belong on Sup Forums.

>Better a general thread that +10 different SU threads
Yes but the kind of person who hates generals has never been able to comprehend that.

Because Sup Forums is full of socially maladjusted fags who lose their minds if someone dares to like thing they don't like

Less regulations.

Because a lot of them are where they belong.

In the garbage.

On Sup Forums, generals are only allowed when a show is airing.
Generals were originally made to contain discussion in between seasons on Sup Forums, so that a million threads from a popular show that only got 1 or 2 replies wouldn't spam the catalog when there was nothing new to discuss. Then when the show came back on, the generals were removed and as many threads pertaining to one show as people wanted were allowed, so long as it wasn't blatantly spam. In other words, a thread per topic (Man this scene is cool, x character sure is a bitch, holy shit that plot twist tho, etc) was permitted, but just blatant spam wasn't.
Moderation staff on Sup Forums and most other boards has decided to enforce the opposite for some reason, don't like it but them's the breaks.

Lewds

porn and furry-ish stuff

Generals aren't allowed, except for star wars for some reason

Thank homosuck for that garbage. That was the first general and it went so out of fucking control it had to be put down. Honestly, might as well make a dedicated /cog/ board because generals are cancer.

I've never understood why /swco/ isn't on some other board. It's a film series, which suggests Sup Forums, but they usually discuss the EU novels which is /lit/. I've never seen them actually discussing the Star Wars cartoons, but we've gotten shafted with them anyway

Sup Forums threads that are on /trash/ are almost always threads that used to occur on Sup Forums. But for some unknown reason, the mods decide to put these threads on autosage or regularly hand out bans to participants. People thus have no choice to migrate to /trash/.
I know this because I have been a victim of this, and it makes me mad.

One does wonder why the mods don't simply write such board rules and guidelines for Sup Forums like they have for other boards, like on /c/, Sup Forums or /qa/.

because people would rather circulate the same waifu and bait threads over and over and over again until Wednesday. Maybe Sup Forums needs to be disbanded and a Sup Forumsgenerals board and storytime board need to be made.

I want them to leave so bad. Front page 24/7.

>I've never seen them actually discussing the star wars cartoons

wut, that is just straight up wrong fag. Just because the focus has been on the newly released movies during a period when the cartoons are paused doesn't mean they are never discussed.

I dunno man, people have asked them but they just get banned or warned. It's weird that there aren't any written guidelines and I feel like a lot of people not used to Sup Forums end up getting warned or banned because of it.

Generals are incredibly low quality threads that encourage namefagging, shipping bullshit, drama, and other substanceless trash. They are only allowed on Sup Forums when the show is actively airing and there is legitimately something to discuss. When that is not the case they absolutely belong in the cesspit of filth that is /trash/ because that is what they are.
