Aside from this, Scott Pilgrim, iZombie and Blue is the Warmest Colour what else is out there? Just finished this and found it pretty solid. Once you make it past the initially edgy teens, the acting by both of them is pretty good and the style of the world is pretty Wes Anderson esque.
I know the comic is set in America so how does that affect the book compared to the show?
This is not a Sup Forums thread, why not read actual comics?
That being said, best Sup Forums adaptations by far are American Splendor and A History of Violence.
Road to Perdition is also fine.
Sebastian Torres
A History of Violence Ghost World obviously American Splendor When the Wind Blows (Ethel and Earnest too but it's not as good as the original book or Brigg's parents dying in a nuclear holocaust for 80 minutes) The Lone Wolf and Cub series and Lady Snowblood if you count manga

American Splendor is great. If you don't mind crappy quality, somebody uploaded it to youtube some years ago. Also check out Crumb, it's about R. Crumb, obviously.
Christopher Rodriguez
>All of these were acceptable to absolutely fantastic, apart from Valerian and arguably iZombie
A scott Pilgrim movie that condensed six books especially should not have been that solid.
And failing with Valerian is like losing a war to greased ostriches. The one thing it lacked was actual human beings as leads, with an overabundance of quipping, and it would have been ate up. Instead they got two actors that trashed their respective superhero franchises to death as the leads. Bravo.
Asher Lewis
Why didn't they fuck in the show? They had enough time to add a stupid lesbo cop subplot and a stupid ntr scene, but they take out the satanism subplot and the sex. Why.
Brayden Cruz
Mm, more like 4 books and with the help of an amiable Bryan Lee O'Malley.
But if there was anyone to do SP, it was Edgar Wright. Not my favorite of his, but definitely a fun flick.

Underage.

The actors aren't. They showed "underage" fucking in juno. Hell theres even a whole spiel about how 17 is the legal age of consent during the ntr scene.

Isn't they're an adaptation of the Jeffrey Dahmer comic coming out.

Did anyone ever watch the Wilson adaptation?, was it any good?
