Dead Networks

Remember that brief, beautiful moment in the 2010's, when shows like Animaniacs and Batman: TAS were airing in syndication?

Remember Dan Vs, Transformers Prime, and My Little Petshop?

Why do the good times never last?

Remember the "Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple rerun" channel?

Did somebody say Dan VS??

Hub was fun. I miss it and will forever cherish it, made me a little kid again excited to watch cartoons.

Also fuck you for deleting and remaking the thread OP, I was about to blow a gasket over what I assumed was faggotry of a janitor

I didn't want Sup Forums to think I couldn't spell.

Why is Discovery Family so damn intent on doing the exact opposite of everything this channel did? It's like they actually want to have a third rate nothing channel that will never attract viewers.

>No image
>no turbo-sized link explaining connection to ponies
>First volley doesn't include Argentinians

'tis but a ruse!

I too am bewildered by this. I understand that Discovery wanted to take over again, but why turn the channel into what it is now?

>those late nights in college watching Batman '66 with my then-gf
I want to go back. I WANT TO GO BACK!!

No, there's exactly one thing anyone remembers this network for.

Saturday morning cartoons died when they went under.

T. basic cable cuck who couldn't afford premium channels
Hub was fun as hell overall, including all the promos and bumpers and things like that

>Cartoon Network is 25 years old
>Nickelodeon is 40
>video streaming has been popular for a decade or so
Saturday morning cartoons have been outdated for a while.

I loved it for reminding me of classic Nickelodeon.

Kids shows all day and classic rerun sitcoms at night

I loved Double Dare

Well of course

We needed more of this.

Porn Hub?

...

>>Prime
>>Good times

Nice try

Adult Swim before Adult Swim existed.

And it all started when they got the rights to Pokemon, encouraging the other networks to get rid of all their unique shows and just buy cheap anime by the truckloads.

and Nick Arcade

How in the name of god did that channel go under as hard as it did?
I still remember Hijinxed and Mr. Meaty. And this other thing where some guy went to Japan to play a hero role as an actor or something.

...

Yeah, I still miss the Hub and look back at it fondly. Good times.

Used to get so scared watching Goosebumps.

How about a cartoon back when MTV was fun?

I miss the equines

It kinda felt like the natural conclusion of kids networks in a way. Bits of nickelodeon, cartoon network, kids wb and fox kids all crept in here, while also feeling new and differemt

Man I miss that mid 90s period where everyone was trying to get in on the adult cartoon craze. So many interesting shows that just came and went in the blink of an eye.

got all the episodes on my phone

Hubba hubba

Man, I miss G.I. Joe Renegades. I was looking forward to that and to see where it would go. But then the creator died.

forgot image.

>How in the name of god did that channel go under as hard as it did?

Bassically what I've been told is, no other channels wanted to pay for advertising on it knowing it was Hasbro behind it all featuring exclusive programming

Politics, haters, adults, same things that ruin everything

It was pretty cool, though short lived

>Why do the good times never last?
I blame the horses, their success made Discovery greedy and it bit Hasbro in the ass.
