Anthropomorphic animals universe

>Anthropomorphic animals universe
>Only mice people are at their actual size of their animal origin
Why is that? I also see that in many other movies and tv series like Konohana Kitan while every other species are in regular human size.

because it wasnt important.

actually it rarely is.

Furry scum.

mice are honestly overrepresented next to animals that matter.

Call them little people, you ableist shitlord.

Zootopia did a good job making people of different sizes

GO AWAY, LET US HAVE A GOOD TIME!

Holdover from cartoons where mice interact with people/normal-sized housecats. Honestly, I loved all that stuff as a kid - The Rescuers, American Tail, Rescue Rangers - because the "mousetech" they'd build their homes and societies around was so interesting to me. Like, just the idea of an entire civilization built in the detritus of another is cool, but add to that the novelty of seeing "people" who live in a shoe or can make an entire meal out of one tomato and some crumbs. That "thimbles as chairs" shit is kawaii as all hell, and you know it.

Plus, it'd be more boring if all the animals were the same relative human scale, (good) character designers like changing things up.

...

I was talking for movies and series like Disney's Robin Hood where all animal species have human size except from mice which are tiny.

Because that's basically their defining trait outside being disgusting vermin and vectors of disease.

Because most of the time, the anthropomorphic animals universe is a toon universe that doesn't work like a realistic universe

why only furfags get tons of good quality giantess art?

because furry is patrician and it's time you admit it

Actually there are lots of great quality giantess art with human character.

This, but unironicly.

a wizard did it

it's annoying how they made Maid Marian flat chested

>pic

I shall counter with this.

Are there? I struggle to find any. Doesn't help that most of them are Asian and to be blunt. Anime art style gets repetitive when each Asian artist doesn't look very unique from the last. And then on top of that? They do Original Characters so the characters look even more generic than usual instead of distinct like say a One Piece female character from say Black Clover.

That artstyle... Can it be?
Isn't this a vore artist?

The scary part is that anthro artists actually depict and draw the actual interactions that you'd want to see, the blowjobs, the vagina, the actual sexual stuff right in the spotlight. Human artists? I barely get to see them do actual sexual actions in the pics. You have to satisfy yourself on the following, want to see a human giantess give a blowjob? None of that, here have some vore instead. You want pussy insertion? Don't worry artist is a prude who just likes to draw "hueg womyn and that's it" fucking terrible. I hate to give them credit, but the damn furry community isn't scared of the sexual so they do tame and sexual all together.

This is far more cuter than it has a right to be

She was always flat. Every female character you loved except maybe Rogue from X-Men or Raven is flat chested. Really wish men didn't give women any rights, much less listened to their complaints about objectifying women in media like videogames or whatever. Because of such moronic men now breasts on females are taboo. Hell, good art styles are taboo enjoy yoru geometric angular garbage designs like from Steven Universe or whatever is coming for CN.

Just posted it because of the dynamic of Human Male/Anthro Female.

Nicole isn't flat

I do like the irony of a human boy getting handled like a small cute pet by a large sentient animal that has taken the role of the human.

I remember there being some interesting bondage in this movie that made 8 year old me "feel funny" am I imagining this?

>Even a cartoon character can't wear trunks anymore
Fuck's sake DC

Wait, I thought Little Cheese was dead and Alley was evil for some stupid reason.

In Sly Cooper rodents are human sized. There. That answer your question?

You'd think this place would eat this thread up.

it's fucking 3 AM

it all was retconned.
>Captain Carrot movie never

“I’ve gotta self-insert”

Isn't it better to do that as a human than a non-human?

You jokin', man?

Their autism allows them to get really good it.

Ever read "The Borrowers" user? It's a UK kid's book about little people that live in the walls and "borrow" all the tiny pins and stuff that go missing for use as tools, clothes, furniture etc.

I'll one up that and suggest Arrietty, an animu adaptation of the Borrowers made by Studio Ghibli

no thanks, we can have a discussion here tha doesnt devolve into porn and is related to cartoons

Because they're poor

I was going to mention the Borrowers. There are a lot of other things, from The Littles to even the Tinkerbell series, which pretty much uses the same idea as well.

Mr. Big from Zootopia is rich enough to boss polar bears around.

Koslov was more interesting.

No.

Same here to some extent. I've got a thing for the whole junkpunk aesthetic.

So.

>anthropomorphic animals exist in a show/comic/etc
>all non-mammals are evil or don't exist

Non-mammals = black people

what next, we can discuss Looney Tunes or Mikey mouse?

You are retarded user.

>anthropomotphic animals exist in a show
>only mammals are intelligent
>non-mammals are food stock animals

>show about a world with anthropomorphic animals
>one of the characters orders and eats a hamburger
>entire rest of the series makes it a point to dodge the issue of how the hamburger was made

>Mammals are superior.
>Humanity is the apex mammal.
>Why the fuck does mammals only get represented?
How high are you right now, user?

...

fuck off furry

>superior animals eat inferior animals
What is wrong with this? We do it all the time

You should read Beastars. Pretty good manga overall it explains where they get meat from (illegal) and how carnivores diets work.

>majority of movies/cartoons about animals
>prey species/herbivores are the good guys and talk and such
>predator species are just animals bent on killing and hunting
Even through humans are predators/hunters and the animals we bond with the most are also predators/hunters too.

Sly Cooper has balls setting up the universe as follows:

"There are anthro animals and there are feral ones. Feral ones are used for food."

I applaud Sucker Punch for doing that. Miss Ruby is an anthro crocodile but in Sly 3 Murray's mission in the second level was feeding enemies to a large feral crocodile. Also Mugshot is an anthro dog, but in his level there are normal fera guard dogs. Also Carmelita Fox is shown standing next to pig cops, yet in Sly 2 they show Sly's gang eating hotdogs which you should know by now come from the feral animals. In Sly 1 there's a mission to make chicken gumbo out of feral chickens, yet in Sly 3 they had an anthro chicken villain.

Putting it simply I appreciate that they never hid this from the audience. Unlike stuff like Star Fox where we don't know what Cornerian animals eat. Sure Fox should feel an instinct to eat Falco and Peppy, but given they're aliens from another galaxy they probably aren't tied to that sort of biology so what the hell do they eat?

If mammals are so superior, how come they're deathly afraid of snakes? Even chimpanzees with their violent tendencies run away from snakes. It's funny, you always see videos on Youtube about hunting bears, wolves, foxes, and in some cases crocodiles or alligators, but you notice that humans don't like to hunt snakes. What's the matter? Afraid they'll vore you?

>posts in a furry thread
>accuses other posters of being furries

Mammals are boring as fuck, especially in visual design, where things like comics and cartoons benefit from having more striking designs.

>Mammals are boring as fuck

>>predator species are just animals bent on killing and hunting

And yet they have the most personality. Just look at North Korea's cartoon about the military vixen. Whether you like to admit it or not, carnivores are much more fun to watch. And honestly I resent how Western Culture depicts omnivores and carnivores as being horrible abominations that MUST be forced to go vegan like Simba in Lion King. Or does anyone remember the Thundercats 2011 episode about finding food? It blatantly had a Eating Meat Is Wrong theme so the characters nonsensically and yet again relied on eating fruits to survive.

Needless to say if they're human? They truly stand no chance at ever successfully hunting a prey animal to eat, just look at the episode of Avatar with Sokka trying to hunt that moose animal, he ended up a complete failure and in a twist of irony once that animal grows up they eat meat and Sokka was the one who was going to get eaten by the cub's mother.

Fay is so cute. Nintendo really has a thing for dog girls. Fay is good looking and Isabelle from Animal Crossing is adorable.

the amount a bugs a full grown male lion would have to eat daily to survive would be massive

Humans are mammals, and lesser mammals share many traits with us that we are already familiar with and know. They are by default less interesting than other animals.

Pro-tip: Deer eat meat.

Not only that, but in Lion Guard Simba's belief system is blatantly incorporated to the other carnivores. It's why Fuli is "cock blocked" from eating meat. Don't say they talk about eating meat. Talk is cheap, show me action. You won't show me the carnivores eating a piece of meat then fuck you Disney.

Seriously fuck Disney. The only time the Lion King franchise showed the eating of meat it was by the villains. Scar killed a zebra, cut a piece of its thigh and delivered it to the hyenas who actually ate the damn thing. But they're villains so it's okay for them to eat meat. Oy vey and soy boys.

Vouching for this while adding they also address the concept of anthros eating eggs.

Spotted hyenas got a bad rap in lion king.
>spotted hyenas have a higher successful hunting/kill rate than lions
>spotted hyenas are NOT scavengers and hunt the majority of their meals
>are direct competition against lions
>have one of the most complex social hierarchies

>Needless to say if they're human? They truly stand no chance at ever successfully hunting a prey animal to eat
In one TTG episode Robin killed a shit ton of animals for food and fun
>"we can only carry 100 pounds back to the cart"
>"Then why did you shoot so many?"
>"Because it's the only fun part of this incredibly boring but educational journey"

Because size puns are hilarious.

Sadly because they're an ugly animal, they get a bad reputation. Humans are shallow, if it looks stylish or fluffy or tough? They love it.

I want to marry Maid Marian

>Show involves anthromorphic characters
>Introduce a cat and mouse duo
>cat is the god cop, mouse is the bad cop
>Mouse tries to intimidate criminals, cat finds it adorable
>Cat gets predatory cravings for the mouse from episode to episode
>one episode has the cat go feral, the mouse sticks by their partner
>Other episodes, have the cat swallowing the mouse in order to make infiltration easier. The cat secretly enjoys it. The mouse is all business

Too true

My dream is to make a famiyl friendly animated movie about Noble Hyenas.

They all look like turbo dykes

spotted hyenas are cute
youtube.com/watch?v=mOKNLwq94Zs

People hate scavengers. Vultures and hyenas always get shat on whenever they appear in something.

i'll make it work

forgot pic

That looks awful

I must be an exception. My favorite bird is the bearded vulture.

Depends on the type of Vulture. There are some vultures out there that are down right gorgeous. The ones that are usually depicted are the giant ass bald ones (I forgot their name).

youtube.com/watch?v=SpIoPQHYhrw

yeah, i think they'd be better as african tribe.

That was an interesting chapter.

Old world vultures tend to be much better looking than the vultures of the new world.

I'm gonna check this out

....I don't think you can legit make that work. Hyenas are literally the Feminist Species. And these days there's a LOT of backlash and criticism online whenever Gynocentrism is sniffed out. So the moment you make Female Hyenas going around bullying and trashing and attacking the male cubs and adults? It's over. Unless of course you want them to be out of character and they behave nothing like their biology.

Bearded Vultures are so fucking metal.

It also gets pretty /d/, since several hyena species have pseudo-penises.

Realistic looking antros were a mistake. Toon/cartoony antros are better

The females still play with the males and bully the ones they like less harshly. The males aren't complete pushovers and there are cases of males taking out/ganging up on a female.
Nope, only one of the four hyenas species is like that and there is zero instances of a female penetrating a male or other female. It's not how they or pseudopenis work.

It strongly reeks of people parroting things they heard or expect. Like just the name vulture has people crack jokes about how ugly they are, even if it's not one of the bald ones, unless they look drastically different like the bearded vulture.

That too. So regardless of context the Hyena is simply a species of animal that humans find unappealing in all respects. Possibly the most disliked mammal species on Earth.

sounds like a challenge!

there are like 4 types of hyenas, let's turn them into tribes.each have its strenghts and weaknesses.
