Look Who's Back

Thoughts on this movie? I found it surprisingly open and honest about Hitler. I think the moral is that too much of any thing produces the opposite but I can't say for sure. This is definitely one of the most perplexing films I've ever seen. Also, in it Hitler says "Make Germany Great Again" despite it being filmed and aired during the very beginning of Trump's campaign. Coincidence?

What the fuck are you talking about?

>you will never hang out and travel Germany with Hitler as he gives you wisdom and advice

Look whos back

It has a couple of well made scenes, most of the movie is stupid though, and it ends with full blown propaganda that discards the entire message of the movie.

Great movie except for the last 10 minutes where it turns into a lefty flic.

user, this film is completely BS

I started watching it, it gave me the same vibe as portlandia so I stopped watching it.

WHAT MOVIE IS THIS WHAT THE HELL IS THIS BURGER TALKING ABOUT.

I thought it started off pretty well, then the ending was an absolute pile of shit that had to push its modern day political drivel. If they hadn't pushed that in there, I might have actually considered it a good film. But considering it was made by Germans, it wouldn't surprise me if they had to put it in just to show everyone "WE'RE NOT NEO-NAZIS, HONEST"

>discards the entire message of the movie.
>skinhead goons are killing the right wing

No it doesnt

look whos back

Decent, nothing amazing. Liked it other than that forced virtue signaling ending.

The entire movie was about Hitler doing his thing in the media and people mistaking it for entertainment.
The ending painted all opponents of mass immigration as Nazis. So a piece of entertainment (the movie) was used as tool of propaganda.

The message and the betrayal of the message both were about a wolf in sheep's clothing.

...

it was decent, expected much more "nazi bad nazi bad" but hitler came across as an alright dude

TL:DR

Hitler is teleported into Modern Germany, people think he's memeing and ironically begin following and supporting him, and through that make makes the fourth Reich

It's a good movie in the sense that it's intelligent, neutral and doesn't set out to portray Hitler as the devil incarnate from the beginning.

The movie is literally called "Look Who's Back".

This. Thought it was redpilled until they had to make Hitler kill a dog do make him look evil and in the end said "everyone is a Nazi and dumb xDD" anyway.
It's funny sometimes though. You could easily cut it and make a pro Hitler and pro right wing message out of it.

what is happening to that girl

...

She's baking a cake.

Who would have thought the weirdest Germans also have the weirdest German porn.

I think the irony backfired on the film makers because they did not portray Hitler as cartoonishly villainous as one might expect to be done in a (((Hollywood))) production. It shows Hitler's ideas on national identity to be just the thing Germany needs right now.

Performance art. She has some kind of harness/rig that holds her weight and not her neck.

I believe the origin of this clip is the United States, if I remember correctly.

...

I've always loved traditional Austrian cooking.

Lefties try to make a movie but the message Hitler gives actually rings true to real life 100% and the whole movie backfires, beautiful.

This movie is like District 9 and Elysium, rightwing propaganda disguised as leftwing propaganda.

>District 9
>right wing propaganda

Elaborate

Er ist wieder da

Hordes of unassimiliable cockroaches establish giant ghettoes from which they do crime and cause everyone a bad time.

Well, yes and no. She's fine, but there's no harness involved.

The black slums in ZA are a cancer that need to be demolished and 99% of all people in them will never be able to assimilate or contribute in anyway.

I thought the ending was quite redpilled although they probably wanted to go through with more lefty propaganda.

In my opinion the whole concept of this movie backfired heavily. They wanted to make a funny lefty parody but they accidentally dropped actual redpills left and right.

Really good 8/10
>Hitler actor was amazing
>Writing was fair considering
>That ending montage backfired - it promoted message of strong nationalism instead of fear/hatred

>establish giant ghettoes
Only they didnt in the movie
Humans forced them into a ghetto
And the only solution they have is to move them around

Probably my favorite scene

it was too liberal fro me. The ending was basically "refugees welcome" and "we all have hitler inside of us so be constantly watchful so accommodating to others so he does not come out"

Not to mention that scene.
"The Power of Silence" speech was 10/10

The book had a different ending were everyone drives off into sunset. its very pop heavy so unless you know German tv and green party some stuff is likely to go over your head.

I think you mean Switzerland, just listen to that language.

What about goth girls grandma and hitler storming the alt right part hq?

Read you fucking plebian

is it porn? all does all nudity equal porn?

Look great, i want to see it

I remember reading somewhere that the crew got scared of what they were creating during the interviews that went into production and so threw a lot of lefty flair in to compensate. This is the Federal Republic, movies involving Hitler -have- to be propaganda against the right under our "law".

You should read some interviews with the author

Well the alt right part was him red-pilling the fuck out of them

>Have you even read my book?
>W-well it's hard to get in Germany?
>Is that your reason for not reading it, or for reading it?

I thought that was absolutely devastating to the fedora tipping autists who pretend to be nazis just to be different.

stop autisming out you limey cunt

Jesus Christ, lurk more

What is this webm?

>tfw he'll never call you "his nigga"
>tfw you'll never go on road trips with him

I liked the movie, it was very good.

...

>refugees can be Hitler because everyone gets a chance to be Hitler

Diversity is a hell of a drug.

yeah I didn't understand that bit, I thought Hitler was a massive proponent of animal rights, why would he kill the cute doggo then

book was way better.

>triggered leftist tears.png
Beautiful.

I sincerely hope the book and the movie make it publicly acceptable to talk about the fact that Hitler wasn't a mass-murdering psychopath and that there's nothing inherently wrong with national-socialism, just the unfortunate circumstances and political manouvering that led to the war.

...

Read the book when it came out in 2011 or 2012, was decently entertaining (especially when he wanted to shot subhumans with a 30mm flak gun), and that was even before I was on the Sup Forums train. I'd say for a book/movie covering the topic of Hitler in mordern times, it was surprisingly less propaganda than expected.

ehhhhh source on webm?

>whoa, thank for this!

>it's a retards don't understand that the author is leftwing and the book is criticizing how Germany dealt/deals with its past by portraying Hitler as a human with good and bad points instead of a devil that used magic to make Germans do stuff
Fucking plebs

or no one will admit to reading it on camera if they want to have a political career. fedora tipping autists shitpost from home instead of signing up to a party and working in its office so I don't think it was aimed at them. also a lot of the jabs in the movie are basically "yes back in my day we used to do it too" some politician invited a journalist to his birthday "yes hitler liked to be close with the press as well" a lot of "hitler ate sugar"

> devil that used magic to make Germans do stuff

holy fuck, I thought they just went for the easy, edgy jokes but they didn't. They went for the true social analysis of today's world, without any breaks.
Say what you want about shitposting etc, but this is true political incorrectness in the real world.

And what is the general thought of this movie in Germany? Is it being slammed because "muh Hitler" or is it slightly waking people up?

googleing hitler wizard gave me interesting results

no refugees did not and can not do anything wrong. its the German people who have to watch out for their inner hitler

it was the jew of dogs.
I don't recall which dog breed was called the jew of dogs(in the movie/book) but I think it was a basset hound
This movie is red pills for the masses, I loved it, its a great way open the door for red pilling people about Adolf Hitler

So refugees aren't german?

>Right wing nationialism gains traction among the world
> first the UK, then Phillipines and the US
> soon the trend spreads over Europe
> countries like France, Poland and Hungary become redpilled, then the trend has enough traction to uncuck Sweden
> final boss is Germany, when the nationalists uncover the truth about holocaust denial and spread the knowledge to the world

It was decent if you forget the last 10 minutes of leftist propaganda.

link to that?
for reasons

They pretty much had to do that or they'd get fucked in the ass.

You can basically ignore the last bit of the movie because of it.

>uncover the truth about holocaust denial and spread the knowledge to the world

Imagine a Europe where most of it is already right wing except Germany and THEN the truth comes out that the Holocaust was mostly a lie.... This time no kike would escape the continent.

...

dimensions are overrated

The ending shows that jewish propaganda makes people go insane.

Read the book a few years back when it was first translated to English. From memory the ending wasn't some cuck drivel, was pretty balanced and depicted Hitler as a human being the whole way through.

Likely the production company that optioned the IP took ideological liberties with the moral of the story.

In the book, from memory, a newsreader or something was talking about Nazi Germany and the final words were "it wasn't all bad"

pedosta is a great actor

It's literally bluepilled normie entertainment pretending to be redpilled and subsequently tricking you all thinking it's "based" when in reality it's subtly taking the piss out of you.

What are they saying?

>left
honour
>right
vanity

ilovechallenges.deviantart.com/

Timur Vermes, the author of the book comes to my university next week, what should I aks him in behalf of Sup Forums?

in my eyes no. They are refugees and becoming part of a community is not like being baptized, its not an instant thing but yes with all this Zwarte Piet I have seen the arguments by left that new immigrants should have a say because they became citizens and thus are equal to all other citizens and should have as much of a say in national culture

And then it leads to the rise of a new Hitler who legitimately genocides refugees.

That's how these things go.

Holocaust was not a lie, the cause of death is misrepresented but people did die, maybe not in as many numbers but still.
>This time no kike
we would be too busy with the Muslims

first says that the book is overrated, unrealistic and not funny (because you shouldn't joke about nazi stuff)

second literally says he hasn't read the book, BUT ...

can only hope

It really is surprisingly moral about the entire situation. It's thought provoking on a political sense. Its just that, you know, saying your favorite movie is about a man trying to redpill everyone who happens to be LITERALLY HITLER could shut you down real quick.

its been a while since I read it but I think it ends with neo nazis jumping hitler. he is in the hospital and gets various calls from different parties to join them. sawatzki and goth girl come to him telling him that they hooked up and are naming the baby adolf. it ends with him musing about his plans for the 5th reich

No, country borders doesn't matter. Race does.

ask him if he will do a squeal and if it can be done in a more international voice. I admit I had to google the green party and its sins, then again its aimed at the german people so it would be ineffective if it did not have a german voice

Reminds me of Network

We have seen what we can accomplish when we take pride in who we are. And we have seen what happens when we do not, and bend over backwards ashamed because people call us words

Pride is the cure. Truth is the cure.
