>Two of the writers who worked on “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” jumped into the political fray on Friday with not-so subtle anti-Donald Trump messages.
>“Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization,” screenwriter Chris Weitz tweeted. Gary Whitta, who also worked on the film, followed up by adding, “Opposed by a multi-cultural group led by brave women.”
Who is ultimately responsible for this ? Disney or Lucas ?
Brayden Richardson
I don't get how anyone still thinks that the new movies have anything to do with Star Wars. The humor is typical shitty marvel humor, the characters are bland and make no sense Star Wars Episode 7 was shit.
Caleb Perry
Jokes on them, I haven't even bothered to watch the last 4.
Liam Price
This. I seriously wasn't sure if I was watching a marvel movie or not.
SW is dead to me, except maybe the good episodes of Rebels and even those are few and far between
Xavier Powell
>Still going to see that new Star Wars?
Haven't even seen the previous one, and the fact that the main character was a stronk womyn was just 1/3rd of the reason.
Blake Hughes
Star Wars sucks anyway.
Angel Howard
>empire are nazis >Weisz
Keep up the anti white sentiments you fucking kikes
Liam Torres
Let's burn it down i'm so tired of this shit
Cooper Taylor
Lucas, he knew what they would do.
Matthew Gonzalez
>Empire are white supremacists >Make it a point to introduce a black Stormtrooper who is never shit on for his race.
Hudson Gray
these were writers of the spinoff, they had nothing to do with TFA and nothing to do with it's squeals, they're sloppy leftovers
Xavier Adams
would love to see another disney venture crash and burn thanks to political meddling
Julian Gonzalez
Media is using to evoke "star wars against hate"
Jaxson Peterson
I was never going to see it. Nu-StarWars is shit.
Camden Thompson
I literally watch this movies for the Empire. Im not paying them shit anyway, torrent everything.
Benjamin Williams
>hurr dey white supremicists ebil white empire. >empire is everyone's favorite side and builds all the cool shit like death stars vs gay red tape whiny liberal rebels who win thanks to shitty writing.
Make Empire Great Again, MEGA the fuck outta them.
Alexander Hughes
Many Trump supporters are now not going to bother. The BS that Whitta spewed is EXACTLY the whole reason why people wanted Trump, they are always adding fucking fuel to the flame of hatred that consumes them and keeps asking why they are being consumed by it.
Chase Hughes
The brand should be toxic to trump supporters. Disney needs to learn its lesson harder. Espn is shit but was their most valuable asset at one point. Star wars was an investment in the future for them
Nolan Young
>white supremacist (human) organization
So they're saying non-whites aren't human. Cool. I can get on board with that.
Luke Adams
Lucas is a sellout hack
Hudson Myers
5 movies later the Empire still dindu nuffin.
Jose White
>Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization,” screenwriter Chris Weitz tweeted. Gary Whitta, who also worked on the film, followed up by adding, “Opposed by a multi-cultural group led by brave women.
another movie i wont even pirate
James Flores
It's like these guys don't realize that George Lucas originally wrote Star Wars as a children's movie.
Connor Gomez
i didnt go to see the last one. Me. Myself, did not go to see the last star wars movie which was according to many one of the best since the original trilogy. I had shitloads of starwars toys as a kid. i collected star wars cards in elementary school. i watched the original trilogy like 2-3 times a month. I won a prize for a star wars trivial pursuit off the radio when i was 10 by answering some star wars trivia because i had the entire dialog of the movies memorized. Star wars books, star wars video games etc. watched it on the internet. Just like i watch all the other garbage that comes out of hollywood now on the internet. Its like porn to me, if i can get it for free then it is a guilty pleasure and ill watch some. but if i actually have to go and buy it then i feel dirty and would rather not bother. /autism
Jayden Gutierrez
>Laughs at 'conspiracy theorists' who complained that Star Wars the Force Awakens was anti-white propaganda >Openly admits Star Wars is anti-white propaganda
The kikes are really showing their true colours with this result, I hope people on the sidelines take note.
Grayson Taylor
wow if I was disney I'd never give them work again after that. Frankly I'd sue them if at all possible for attaching inflammatory remarks like that to my film
Mason Brooks
um, the rebels are led by literal royalty and religious fanatics.
oh fuck, they're the saudis
Joseph Morales
This is why I see anything done by Disney Star Wars as non-canonical and is set in an alternate Star Wars universe from the George Lucas Star Wars Universe, as well as seperate from the Lucas Expanded Universe for Star Wars. Rogue One is therefore seen as alternative Star Wars but won't be included in my own canon perception.
Evan Gonzalez
this shit has been the case since the first Star Wars movie.
(((George Lucas))) made it clear the the Empire was supposed to represent nazi Germany/british empire, ie evil white people getting shit done
it's just even more blatant now that (((Disney))) bought the franchise.
Thomas Peterson
um no
Landon Jackson
Nope.
>see star wurs
Brayden Richardson
>ey guys this guy is evil because an organization in a fictional story we wrote is evil and they have some vague similarities what a fucking joke, since when using literary fiction as commentary is a valid argument? and the worst thing is, some people will eat it up and base their political views on a fucking fairy tale about space wizards
Liam Garcia
>Still going to see that new Star Wars?
I stopped after Episode 1, there are only 3 episodes of Star Wars and they are 4 5 and 6.
Jackson Allen
Friendly reminder that both the Empire and the Rebellion where all white people in the first movie.
Jackson Anderson
>Implying the Empire and First Order aren't the best thing about these movies >Implying a Stormtrooper costume isn't what every kid who grew up with those movies wanted >Implying Palpatine, who was given his power through a fair democratic process did anything wrong >Mfw Top kek, I bet these stupid cunts rooted against Negan and Johnny Lawrence as well.
All cheekiness aside though, watching the liberal regime go through it's death throes is seriously the highlight of my year.
Ian Martinez
Yet they keep casting white women in the lead role.
Josiah Davis
>not appreciating Lucas' pottery
The prequels aren't half as bad as people say they are.
Elijah Nelson
Star Wars is in a galaxy far far away and a long time ago. Is nothing safe from this cursed god forsaken multiculturalism?
Julian Wilson
The only way I see it, is if it comes out that this dude is named Kyle.
Colton Martin
>implying you wouldn't have sold the IP to Disney as well
Dylan Allen
Star Wars has sucked ass since Empire. Jedi was like, ok. Disney is literally Satanic cancer. Look at the shit they peddle to children. Gone are the days of innocent animation, like Snow White or Mickey Mouse.
Jacob Ortiz
>anyone still thinks that the new movies have anything to do with Star Wars
But they have everything to do with star wars, the writers literally took the story line from a new hope and remade it with minorities and a mega-death star.
Brody Martinez
yeah sure senpai, movies don't affect me much. if it's well done i'll see it.
people who have given hollywood and journalists power will pay for it in their own way. i don't work in an industry where that trash can touch me. there are a grand total of 3 non whites for the 200 people i work with.
Lincoln Thomas
Messrs Weitz and Whitta seem to be oblivious to the setting, so let me spell it out for you:
The Empire is an organization that claims to serve all, but oppresses all of its citizens so that only a handful of whites have any real power. They hail from civilized planets like Coruscant, where there is little to no vegetation. They are insulated by their own media, never seeing any view the Empire disapproves of.
That's not where our heroes come from, is it? With one exception, our heroes come from the Outer Rim. Deserts, forests, mining planets. People who work hard for the little they have after the Empire takes it's share. The only exception to this is Leia, who saw her home destroyed at the hands of the Empire. They fight to restore the Republic and for the religion the Empire has decided to eliminate. They use old, reliable tech like Y-wings and make it work through their resourcefulness. They don't care what you are if you can get the job done because they can't afford to turn people away. Even the droids that the Empire treats like garbage are treated as equals.
I have bad news for these screenwriters. They are the Empire. The people who voted Trump, particularly those in rural areas, are the Rebel Alliance.
And the 2016 election is A New Hope.
Charles Reed
we have to thank them, they are not even hiding their multicult agenda anymore.
Robert Gray
Yes, just look at this evil white supremacist.
Wyatt Parker
My thoughts exactly
Wyatt Price
>Still going to see that new Star Wars?
Yes.
I'm also a member of the Labour Party.
You mad bro?
Kevin Perez
>an uncle Tom.
Andrew Baker
>uh oh, heeb writers, who live in their left-coast bubble and hate nationalism, think america voted incorrectly >better change my vote to I'm with her >now I'm definitely seeing the movie in theatres
I wont even PB it
Luke Davis
Except that Lucas stole the rebel award ceremony at the end of the first SW movie shot for shot from Leni Riefenstahl. Lucas was just into Nazi cinema, frankly, and both sides of Star Wars owed a debt to Nazi imagery.
Luke Nelson
dropped
holy fuck they can go fuck themselves
Dominic Jackson
Don't forget Song of the South.
Brody Stewart
Oh wow. Two more Hollywood pedos wanted Hillary to protect them from their crimes.
Truly shocking.
Brody Bailey
>torrent everything Got that shit right
except mel gibson movies
Ian Morgan
Can they not see that Hillary is literally the empire?
Bentley Ramirez
I won't be going to see it now.
But I have the urge to watch the X-Files again
Christopher Edwards
As long as the political asspain of the writers doesn't influence the writing too much I don't care
I'd be more worried about the fact that the movie turned out so terrible they have had to do extensive reshoots
James Morris
> "Please note... Oh wow, we never noticed the signaling before. Thanks for red-pilling us.
Easton Bailey
>Empire represented Nazis >majority of SW fans like the Empire more than the rebel scum pottery
Lincoln Kelly
why do celebrities have to chime in on political issues? fuck them and their jewish Hollywood propaganda and their holier than thou attitudes
