The awful first episode sets it back a lot for me. I know it turned off a lot of people I know that wanted to try it, and I had to convince them to give it another chance.

It's the sequel to Avatar The Last Air Bender that we wanted but didn't deserve.
I struggled to watch even the first few episodes of that. The MC is just insufferable, and the side characters couldn't carry the show.
