Pixar hasn't made a good movie for nearly a decade

>Pixar hasn't made a good movie for nearly a decade

So was Coco actually shit then? I keep getting mixed messages about it.

Good enough to beat out justice league. So not complete shit

Everything after Cars was shit

wrong, Coco was great, imo it was the best movie of this decade.

however, you can't be great forever, your formula will wear off and new younger players will join the scene soon.

>b.b.but at least it beat a shitty flop!!
wow, this is really bad

>Implying that Inside Out wasn't amazing

Mate.

it was very predictable. what was the stake?

pixar under disney lost "it"

Gave us great waifus though.

>Children's movie
>It's bad because it's predictable
Yer feckin' kiddin' me mate.

We've still got two years until Toy Story 3 hits a decade.

>Incredibles 2
>Toy Story 4

so excited.

More fucking unneeded sequels

What is WALL-E?

Nothing was bad about it.
Everything ranged from fine to amazing.
Story was fine, standard plot now days (including villain twist reveal during third act).
Acting and characters were interesting.
Music was good.
And visuals were goddamn breathtaking with being the most detail visuals so far in a 3D movie (could be due to their dedication or due to being the most recent big budget movie).

Cars wasnt shit?
Wall-E was great
Up was cool.
Ratatouille and InsideOut had amusing bits
I will not talk about the rest

pixar used to woo us with ideas, now it's all

"hey kids remember the previous movie? remember that joke in that other movie?"

Cars 3 was way better than it deserved to be.
Like possibly best of the 3 movies good (is there a movie series in history where the 3rd was the best???).

...

it was allegory for pixar (mcqueen) giving up, and passing the mantle to their successor, disney (ramirez)

Well, Toy Story

Oh, there is one, however the bar easnt really high, it's
Madagascar

Cars 3 was shit

WALL-E
Up
Toy Story 3
Inside Out
Finding Dory
Coco

OP is a faggot and on drugs. Not good drugs. Bad drugs.

All shit except for WALL E

>hrmmm, i want to be contrarian, but I better not talk shit about Wall-E or everyone will know I'm just an idiot.

I really enjoyed it, unrionically one of my favorite pixar film along with Monster & Cie
Its no master piece but the setting and animation are wonderful as Day of the Dead aesthethics is top tier
Its quite predictible though

my sister didnt see the villain reveal coming.

i got spoiled by Sup Forums too much, i see plot twists in everything disney movie!

me coping a feel in pic

Pixar doesn't make good films. They make a Pixar Film and their reputation sells the film just like Star Wars sells on mere rep and brand.

shithole denizens loved it, I guess.

...and then disney bought them back, and copy their formula.

Why does Sup Forums pretend Toy Story 3 was anything special? It's the reverse Up! Only the last 5 minutes mean anything.

nostalgia, user, nostalgia.

i ddint even like 2. but whatever.

Sorry that missed Pixar films are stories based around love and emotion and caring about things so you are incapable of relating to them

that doesn't make them bad movies

Toy Story 2 was better.

But Toy Story 3 was in no way a bad movie.

TS3 was a good closure. but then Jews strike again.

They still have a few months to rename Ralph Wrecks the Internet.

Only chicanos and drumpfers hated it. But then again, nobody cares about their opinion.

>UNTITLED HAN SOLO FILM
still makes me laugh everytime i see it
>all those sequels/remakes
and I'm sober again

It's beautiful
Some deus ex machinas here and there, but it has some of the best music animation and voice acting in a recent Disney/Pixar film

Whatever will they do without Lasseter?

Up
Toy Story 3
Inside Out
Coco

You say those are bad? You obviously have some shit taste, bud.

Cirrrrcus afro

they'll find new talent with his own formula.

Indeed.

WALL-E was the first movie I watched, indeed the first anything I watched, that produced a profound emotional response from me.
Perhaps because I was starting puberty when I first watched it, I remember it being the first summer where I discovered being horny and attempted fapping (after reading a medical leaflet about pinworms and made the scat fetishist I am today, but that's a different story).
So the first time in my life, I was experiencing a film in an emotionally complex way that's to describe. I became obsessed with it for a little while.
But I must say, it was the last Pixar film I fully enjoyed to that amount. Indeed, it was the last _Disney_ film I enjoyed to that amount. All that tells to me is that I don't like/adore any Disney films, except for one I only know through nostalgia goggles.

what the actual fuck am I reading here

wall-e
horny
scat
disney

The only ones that weren't good were Brave, Cars 2 and The Good Dinosaur.

Pixar was always mediocre, just took me a while to realise this.
