France and Austria have established parties they can support online like we did for trump, though it's gonna be less effective because of the language barrier
We on the other hand have a few parties that could be considered similar but lack something... the biggest one, Lega Nord, is hated by half the country for their past and the leader is not exactly a genius, berlusconi is a cuckservative, fratelli d'italia is nice but it gets like 4% of the votes and the other ones are too small to matter

Italy? you mean north africa?

I get the impression that in the unlikely event italy had a coup, I don't think president trump what try to shut it down.

>I don't think president trump what try to shut it down
What?

As far as I understand it Italy is pretty much in the United States' bum boy as it is. The fact we were able to get one of our citizens off for murder is evidence of that. I don't think that there would be any need for a U.S. backed coup.
>What I want is my Fatherland to grow some balls.

Who cares about greasy nigger italians

Can you imagine what king negro's response to a rightwing military dictatorship in europe would be? I can't imagine trump would inherently oppose that.

jesus christ the asshurt never ends

Il Duce shall return.

Real question: what's Italy like? My great-grandfather moved from Teggiano, Salerno, Campania, and I've always been curious about going back maybe to live there.

Would love some Italian input

Italy is 90% + white

While France's and Austria's White population is decreasing at a rapid rate.

Garlicy

Is it true that 25% of young italians are weeaboos ?

I don't think he would give a fuck

>Teggiano, Salerno, Campania
Probably something like africa

You'll get no job, pizza is shit, pussy is hot, and coffee is real coffee. Italians talk with hands, and every gesture has a meaning, some can get you killed.

>something like africa

Fuck. I romanticize the thought of living there too much I guess.

My Nono was a Venetian, please tell me Veneto is not cucked.

>Is Italy a lost cause?
Old people are generally against traumatic changementsa

capitalism could make italy great

I forsee a giant porn industry popping up to replace canoga park CA

It's a city of 8000, it's probably fine, most likely a place where nothing happens and everyone is old as fuck

Define cucked, demographically they are about 90% italian, 5% european immigrants and the rest is either asian, north african and a small amount of niggers

Grandson of a Bellunesi reporting in.

The whole of Europe is a lost cause and none of it is worth saving

>about going back maybe to live there.
I'm live more or less nearby. Salerno area is comfy as fuck, lots of old people, african immigrants living in quasi slavery working in the fields, very safe, food is godlike, very little mafia.
Foreigners are never really considered "one of us" tho
>Veneto is not cucked.
It's extremely cucked. North italy is a shithole

I would probably be married before moving so women is not really my concern. How's job market?

Also I'm curious about what the mafia does. American media glorifies it but the way you put it makes it sound not-so-glorious

>How's job market?
Absolute shit, thanks to decades of corruption, socialism and EU meddling
>what mafia does
Watch Gomorra. Basically mafia is a parallel state, filling the gaps where the government is absent. It's slowly fading away tho, after 2008 crisis they bought a shitload of banks and conglomerates so they moved a large part of their activities into the legitimate economy. Most of these activities still act as a front to launder money from drug/arms trafficking. They are at every level of government, they have a lot of senators and parliamentaries.
They keep the streets safe tho, you are less likely to be victim of petty crimes in mafia areas

Jobs, depends what you do.

Mafia, you won't hear or see anything as long as you behave yourself. If you start being or pretend to be tough guy then you will be killed very quickly, espescially in Sicilia,Calabria or Napoli area, elswhere not too bad.

>please tell me Veneto is not cucked.
ehhh
they're pissed at immigration, but in regards to how to fight it they've got their priorities mixed

Italy guys, care to give your take on this constitutional referendum coming up? Mostly supported by the mainstream left/establishment and opposed by the populist right wing, according to English language media. Obama has been gunning hard for it.

I haven't looked super deeply into it but I heard it would weaken the senate. Would this push Italy towards something closer to unicameralism?

What is the point of any and all of the measures on the referendum and how do you feel?

I wouldn't start anything so I think I'll be okay. Heard that petty crime is a big problem in cities too.

I'm going to be an engineer, which I like to think could get a job nearly anywhere. Don't need much

> It's extremely cucked. North italy is a shithole

Please no I have to go to Milan for my civil engineering diplome ;_;

>What is the point of any and all of the measures on the referendum and how do you feel?

They want parliament to have all the power, which is not bad in itself, but the central government is corrupt as fuck and mostly takes order from (((Bruxelles))). The endgame is selling our social system in bits and pieces to private corps instead of passing a couple of trivial laws to fight corruption and clean the public sector from within. All this while getting merrily flooded with niggers.
Worth noticing that now you get to vote for your senators, now they will be chosen among mayors and regional councils and given legal immunity. These guys have insane average conviction rates for corruption/mafia related crimes and we won't be able to prosecute them anymore. But they will get senatorial power instead.

Ain't that fucked up
>Milan
My condolences senpai, been there 2 weeks and wanted to kill myself

>Mostly supported by the mainstream left/establishment and opposed by the populist right wing, according to English language media. Obama has been gunning hard for it.
It's more of a mixed thing, really

> My condolences senpai, been there 2 weeks and wanted to kill myself

Well, at least there are not BLM or anti-Trump riots in Polytechnico di Milano.

Padua's major [Bitonci] did some laws in the last couple weeks to deny kebab shops from operating the centre such as to promote local gastronomy.
Just yesterday half the city council forced his dimissions.

>Well, at least there are not BLM or anti-Trump riots in Polytechnico di Milano.

What is Italy's equivalent of the progressive movement? Are there any?

Not organized with a name, just small groups of antifa complaining about borders and shit but they are irrelevant

From the economist economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2016/09/economist-explains-18

> Their aim is to make Italy, which has had 63 governments in the 70 years since the birth of the Republic, a more governable country. The mayfly-like lifespans of Italian governments is not the sole reason that they find it impossible to implement their programmes.

>The two legislative chambers have equal powers, so bills must go between them until they are approved in identical form.

You mean exactly like our system? And we survive.

The reason for a bicameral legislature is to provide a check within the legislature itself, as the legislative power is so far the greatest one in government. A unicameral legislature could do much more much more quickly but that's not necessarily a good thing.

This is such an openly partisan constitutional change, to allow the ruling party to push through its reforms and policies.

We would never tolerate this shit in America and neither should you.

>What is Italy's equivalent of the progressive movement? Are there any?
Nope, niggers behave here or they get concrete shoes. This is true from Sicily to Lombardy. Some antifa groups but they get regularly get their skulls bashed in by the police so meh

>A unicameral legislature could do much more much more quickly but that's not necessarily a good thing.
Yeah i agree, i think it's a completely made up problem with some saying the opposite, that we need more checks for less laws with more thought put into it
It's pretty much the government asking for more power knowing that in 2 years max someone else is gonna beat them in the elections which doesn't make much sense

No, it isn't. New Centre-Right and Act! are just cuck parties who split from the main right-wing parties because their butthurt leaders wanted more attention, NCR especially licks Renzi's shoes. Likewise Italian Left (SI) split from the Democratic Party (PD) and so they oppose whatever the PD does.

cot'd

>The head of government would have five years in office with a guaranteed parliamentary majority, free of even the threat of a rebellion in his own ranks—deputies’ prospects for re-election will depend not on their popularity with their constituents but on their standing with their party leader.

I can't believe an American writer is trying to shill this hard against the system that we ourselves enjoy. Imagine if Obama lead a united legislature for 5 years with new delegates chosen by party leaders instead of the people?
