Why does he wear the apron?

No,but he’s a bad dad for not using his job to send his faimly on free plane trips.

there are no bad jobs, the only bad thing is not having a job.

That's only true when you have people to support. If you have no family and live alone, then I'd argue there are bad jobs.

Also all jobs are good when you are a Venezuelan

...

You lot got no one left to blame but yourselves for that mess you're in

Door to door exists.

classic Simpsons was very awkward sometimes

Sure thing, Mcdonald's employee.

>He became an angry smoker after Marge lost respect for him

why did his hair turn brown

He's a big guy.

tobacco stain

It's safe to say the writers put zero thought into writing Marge's dad and there is no consistency with him at all. youtube.com/watch?v=Z0IUOU28NiA

Is this loss?

Nonsense, you might even say he was an American hero.

i'm still waiting for the episode where he shows up on the simpsons' doorstep and needs a place to sleep for a couple of days.

After having to fake his death for something really stupid.

And then ten years later have a totally new guy show up say he was Marge's father all along. Then do the same thing with Homer's mother.

I dont see the point of any of these videos, because they are trying to piece together something that might as well never meant to be other than'just having sceneraios, the characters personalities dont develop but rather are conveniently change or soft rebooted depending of when the writers care or not, plus taking ANYTHING past the good seasons its a bit of a stretch.

End of Evangelion

Patty and Selma looked kind of hot when they were younger

A job is a job. If he can go to work with that smile on his face every time, I'd say he's doing great.

I haven't seen this episode, though, so there's probably other shit going on that actually makes him a shit dad.

Wasn't that the joke? She thought he was a super cool pilot but he was a flight attendant and so both overreacted dramatically?

Man I love cleaning up shit.

Least he had one. His brother just went nuts and killed people.

Could this scene get made in this era?

I don't know, but it was certainly a bad episode.

holy fuck

There's something bothering me about this post.

The point is that the writers clearly didn't have an actual character planned out for her dad. Which is why the few snippets we learn about him over the years end up being so disjointed.

>lifetime membership in the mile high club due to banging stewardesses
>gay

>Marge meets her 31 long lost half-sisters
>And they're all

This is the worst one yet.

You are so transparently wrong.

There is never a point. Just someone hoping to be taken as a super special journalist that uncovers the truth digging around wikis and posting what has been printed on them for years already.

Jobs are gay, it's money I want.

>Evangelion.jpg

Rebuild 4 when?

He likely makes more than 95% of this entire site.
Not a bad job.

he tried to hide it, so that's a few good points on him
still, he could have handled it better

I'm honestly surprised they haven't done this already.

>customer service jobs

I love TheRealJims videos.

>gay job
>get to travel for free and gets to wear a kickass apron
Fuck off, Marge.

>unethical jobs like hitman aren't bad

What's wrong with killing bad people?

If the people you're killing are really bad, you should be able to do it within the confines of the law.

the pernicious lie of socialism

No, you've just become too soft.

They're crudely drawn cartoons, user.

Even in its time, it was a joke about them overreacting. This is like the people who watch FRIENDS in modern times and don't realize people are laughing because of how inappropriate it was even then.

Hitman isnt a job its a way of life

And prostitute is a good job so there cant be any bad jobs

When and how did he die?
What was his name?

No. All jobs are bad because they are for sheeple who slave their lives away. I am too smart to have a job, I have much better things to do, like improving myself and achieving peak human perfection

I'd rather be cleaning shit 24/7 than being a ESL teacher.
12 year old kids are the fucking worst

I don't have a job so I can confirm, I digged myself into a ditch deep enough that I can't crawl out of, gumballs portrayal is surprisingly accurate

Is there a point in recording every little thing in Chris chan life on an online enciclopedia?
Is there a point on discussing characters who can do anything the writers want because they are fiction and they don't obey logic?
Is there a point in drawing fan art?
No but it's fun

Why didn't marge have a job?

She had several

motherhood is a full time job

well, atleast from 3pm to 10pm

and for about 6 years

so how do you plan on earning money pal?

the home maker is the most important job

Venezuelan here. Jobs are entirely useless under hyperinflation, just so you know. It's pointless to work 40h a week, for instance, just to earn the equivalent of $20 a month and then spend it all in food, and only the sort you can find at high prices since it's still scarce and imported.
I'm lucky enough to work with projects that pay in dollars, and even then I charge relatively cheap so I get a steady income.

This. Now, if you want to talk some confusing changes in character, look at Peggy's mom in King of the Hill. The first few times she appears, she's just an older looking Peggy, then, in her last and most big appearance, she's a fucking hardass rancher who apparently shat on her daughter's life in much the same way Hank's dad with his.

To keep his clothes from getting dirty and to lessen the chance of burns if he gets splashed with hot liquid.

Why is a Simpsons version of End of Evangelion so scary to me?

>lessen the chance of burns if he gets splashed with hot liquid
> wears shorts.

Suck it up, Marge.

everyone knows the calves are less prone to burning due to having less meat to roast.

nah, that is basically it
Marge was traumatized because her father had a feminine job

when someone re-animates Gainax's corpse

DONT LOOK AT ME

Episode is from 1994, Homer and Marge are late 30s (Homer is 39). Assuming Marge is about 5, that puts that event around 1960. Her dad was just really ashamed to be seen working in a feminine profession by his daughter.
