Post songs you would love to have played in hypothetical comic book movie scenes. If they ever do the death of Captain America scene in the MCU I would love to hear this as it fades to black and goes to the credits.

This song needs to play in a dark and gritty Redhood and the Outsiders movie.
This was the biggest missed chance with the Ghost Rider movies.
I don't think it would actually work in a movie, but I'd love to see this play during a trailer for an R-Rated cape film.

I want to see if they could play Kryptonite in any serious manner.
I want to see this play after Thanos wrecks everything near the end of Infinity War, could tie it in to his famous snap that causes half the universe to cease to exist. Got a montage of confusion, anger and sadness as total chaos breaks out. The feeling of no hope sinks in.
Nova chasing down the Guardians for whatever reason.
THIS song with any XMen Movie. Perfect.
I can imagine this in a scene where young Richard Rider is just discovering his powers and flies out into space and races passed the moon.
This should have played near the end of Guardians 2 when Peter realizes what his father truly is.
I love this!
This song would fit wonderfully in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 if Gamora leaves the Guardians and sides with Adam Warlock because she falls in love with him.
I can picture that Thanos has destroyed everything and all the heroes lie in tatters and there's no hope. Steve Rogers stands up and refuses to roll over and give up. Tony barely lifts himself from the ground in his crushed and broken armor and he throws Cap his original shield for the first time since Civil War and he catches it with a simple nod. Cap stands tall and stoic, Thanos just laughs at his futile attempts of bravery. Even though he knows he's no match he refuses to stand down and he does his best to inspire everyone.
I always thought Rocket Man fit him well.
Maybe at some point after Rich has been away from Earth for awhile he gets melancholic about his home, Peter tells him something akin "Yeah, well you get used to it kid" then Rocket Man starts playing while we see scenes of Rich flying around in space and Star-Lord following him in the Milano.
I've been thinking about the soundtrack a Doom movie would have, and I've come up with these since then:

I think it'd be more effective after he does something entirely horrific. How about after he skins Valeria and ends up in Hell?
>youtube.com
Probably more fitting in a quiet scene. Maybe in a Church, or Ceremony, where he celebrates his "inner divinity" and gets into a metaphorical "competition" with God.
>youtube.com
Most fitting for a "cool" scene where he unleashes his power for a first time. Maybe as he massacres the Monks after donning returning to the Temple, in order to eliminate any witnesses.
>youtube.com
Fitting for an epic scene, either as he's commanding an army against Wakanda or Atlantis, or in a 1v1 fight.
There's tons more stuff, especially instrumental and orchestral pieces, but these are the ones at the top of my head.
This would be a good song for when he comes back to earth for the first time.
I want to hear this in GotG3 when Peter Quill goes to confront Adam Warlock in the finale.
Just make this the only music in any cape movie.
This was a missed opportunity for Logan.
I want to hear this when Dr.Strange goes against Mephisto.
...
Fuck that edgy Millar shit
Bump
Whenever the Guardians get to Earth in Infinity War, this had better be playing.
youtube.com
Not clicking, not for any other reason than it better be "My Way" or you're wrong.
sinatra not fucking limp bizkit you dweeb
played out user.
actually you know what, that fits the guardians perfectly. Have him be all pumped to hear on a earth radio station and blares it as they land and and someone (deadpool) cuts in with "who are these assholes with the played out soundtrack?"
The inevitable Superior Spider-Man movie should have something from Yeezus or MBDTF
youtube.com
or they could be safe and pick POWER
I really wish the Black Panther trailer didnt use RTJ, which is reddit rap honestly. Couldve used gritter stuff.
I'm imagining it starts int his scene before the song continues into the credits.
youtube.com
i want an animated Age of Apocalypse movie series for mature audiences. the intro would play synthwave while panning through montages of apocalypse and his horsemen killing the avengers and spider-man, with piles of the bodies from genocide and destruction of ecosystem.
Batman-joker chase scene set to charming man by the smiths
youtube.com
Catwoman/Batman vs a swat team set to panther like a panther
youtube.com
A mister miracle movie set to the monkeys
youtube.com
A sequence about the spiral of tragedy from the bronze age into the dark age set to while my guitar gently weeps
youtube.com
A batman inc set to american boy by kanye west
youtube.com
any movie where swamp-thing, aquaman, poison ivy, and/or floronic man team up to eco-terrorists and they travel through the green by eating swampy's psychedelic yams.
either that or a swamp thing movie that has a montage of him traveling through the universe manifesting as different forms of life, including A.I. as was written by Alan Moore
Silver Surfer
youtube.com
almost any witch mountain tune could be used for villain themes. doom metal would work too
Why do this board has so many school yark topic threads?
Cable, when Bishop chased him forward through time
because this was the best part of school for nerds and geeks. where the fuck do you think we are? you think we had girlfriends or some shit?
...
neil gaiman's sandman could only be animated
It's a long shot, but IF an MCU Howard the Duck got made, and IF it kept Howards depressive personality intact, I'd love a Beatles soundtrack, since that's canonically Howards favorite band.
what about Oasis and/or Wilco? don't they sound like the beatles?
Disney can afford a Beatles-exclusive soundtrack. And a few sequels, too.
Beauty and the Beast 4 part miniseries (Beast and Dazzler)
Holy shit can you imagine how the general public would eat that up? They thought the Awesome Mixes sold well...
Uncanny X-Force
Cloak and Dagger
Daytripper
it'd have to be a cool song that goes with Man-Thing, and Korrac(?) the barbarian since HtD's first appearance was with man-thing. so maybe bluegrass because that would be funny
Bishop and Shard
youtube.com
(this one here could also work for Age of Apocalypse)
youtube.com
wow what a missed opportunity
>and the outsiders
FUCKING PLEBS
holy shit, all this bad taste. Most of the posted songs doesn't go with those comics
>i have read all of those comics and no i won't offer alternatives
cool story user
>going with comics
OP is asking about what would go in a movie.
GOOD JOB.
the same, those are bad choises
...
>soundtrack from only one band
it would work if the audience has low standards. so everyone that like the Last Jedi
If they ever make a movie with The Sentry they should have this song in the trailer.
youtube.com
Damn. That's pretty perfect.
I would pay good money to see a Cap movie with this combo of story and song.
Rocket needs this if he ever gets a solo flick.
I can just picture a high stakes Captain America movie coming out with the good guys winning and Cap is on a plane at the end with Nick Fury or Buckey and then it just goes full Secret Empire. The song starts with him and the other guy he's with smiling as they fly off into the sunset and talk about what happened, then as the beats build up he pulls a gun and shoot Sam/Buck and says the famous reveal line.
I know, right? It's almost like I want the movie if only for the trailer?
Makes you wonder who the perfect actor would be for Roberts's role. Heath Ledger would look the part if he were still kicking around.
I can see this playing during a trailer for Red Hood and the Outlaws...
youtu.be
Deadpool kicking at the bar with Weasel in the second film.
Perfect song for an adaption for When Calls Galactus.
>The rising dawn finds a lonely, GRIEVING, Serifan wrapped in solitude -- and lost in thoughts that take him FAR from the grim realities -- CLOSING IN ON HIM!
youtube.com
The whole "Forever People get Omega'd, Desaad gets Omega'd, and Serifan loses the will to go on" sequence really.
I think your only good choice there is the Leonard Cohen one, that's absolute perfection
your other choices reek of Sup Forums intellectual.
Ben Reilly movie after 3 MCU Spidey movies.
90s rap to really solidify that Ben was a 90s mistake; use rap to seperate Ben from Peter. I don't know much besides ATCQ because I know thats NYC rap.
oooh.... yeah i think people want to avoid the clone saga
>I think your only good choice there is the Leonard Cohen one, that's absolute perfection
Thanks user.
>your other choices reek of Sup Forums intellectual.
Eh, I guess. I consider my taste pretty Pleb Tier though, so I dunno. I just think they make sense, and I've seen them around enough.
>Cap Dies
>that song
>not this one
Posting the credits song:
