I quite liked the Fear and Loathing reference in that one

unironically the best Western movie ever

solid flick, good pick OP

I'll go with:
The Iron Giant
The Road to El Dorado
Kubo and the Two Strings

Great taste, OP.

Animalympics
Coraline
Fantastic Mr. Fox
those are just some of my favorites that I can think of at the top of my head.

best use of flight of the valkyries. and one of the best parts of the movie

damnit forgot

El Dorado
Prince of Egypt

god damn rango is a great movie

Rewatched it again recently, god damn that CG is still really impressive looking.

Dead tie between Flight of Dragons and The Last Unicorn. James Earl Jones hamming it up as an evil wizard seals the deal for me though.

Nocturna

I’m a fan of this underrated gem.

I was exposed to this at a very young age.

The clown still terrifies me to no end.

this is the comfiest movie of all times.

13/14 of them, anyway.

Reminder that was the last time a non-Disney/Pixar animated movie won the oscar.

Oi is this new?

There is more than one reference. Rango's design even looks like the poster.

Rango is pretty good, but I also really like 'Surfs Up'

easily

megamind

Sure.

IN THE TOOOOOWN WHERE I WAS BOOOOORN

...

>14 movies
Jesus.

Pirates of the Carribean: the animated western.

I can own it on PSP?
brb, buying for the 3rd time.

OP said non-Disney.
20th Century Fox is owned by Disney.

unironically Disney now.

Umd disks were a thing for some reason
I found Cowboy Bebop the movie at a Gamestop for 1 buck

I know, I've got Spiderman. The thing can barely play the entire movie on a single charge though, umd movies eat through battery like nobody's business.

Wasn't part of it when it was made so it still counts.

is there a mega for the series yet?

My fucking niggas.

Just rewatched Rango recently after a Sup Forums thread and forgot how great it was.
Iron Giant is comfy as fuck and holds a lot of nostalgia for me.
Secret of Kells is a very solid film that does good to remember you can do whatever the fuck you want with animation.
Fantastic planet is just a wild ride all around.

Companies other than Disney make movies?

That shit fucked me up when I was little

yes, they want you to bieleve no one else counts, because they think they make best animated movies in the world

I wanna hug dat mouse

...

it's like other companies dont want to even try.

I love the Thief and the Cobler.

Little Nemo is the best non-Disney western animated flick ever produced. Yes Japan had a hand in it but it was a joint venture.

>Hasn't seen many Westerns. Or probably non-animated films.

It's still a good movie though.

I'd like this movie more if it wasn't so ugly.

Isles of Dogs is looking really good

I love it because it DARED TO BE UGLY.

Heard good things about BBF. Also there will be Stinky Fox from same studio. More cartoony goodness!

Pretty much a masterpiece in my opinion.

>BBF
I bought the comic just because the movie hasn't come out in Merka yet.

Most of my favorite animated movies aren't Disney desu.

Seconding Rango, but I also like:
>Feherlofia
>The Iron Giant
>Ernest and Celestine
>The Triplets of Belleville
>Don't know if Sup Forums is allowed but if it is there are a couple more.

bump

Not the BEST animation or plot, but comfy as fuck aesthetically and musically.

Persepolis!

this probably
hated it as a kid but just rewatched it and was blown away by how much better it seemed. a lot more subtle humor than I remembered.

glad to be seeing so much Prince of Egypt love, it's a true masterpiece

I like the recobbled edition.

There's just something special about that movie, is so comfy
