Press C to pay respects.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Action Comics: Doomsday Clock: Hal Jordan/GLC: Injustice: Thanks for reading. Support your local comic shop.

How is it that a Cain is so based, but a Kane is absolute garbage?

Good to see DC is still touting the philosophy that no villains can ever really reform!

FUCK. YOU.

WHY CAN'T CASS HAVE FRIENDS

MEANWHILE OVER IN DOOMSDAY CLOCK LADY CLAY FACE HAS JUST SHOWN UP

I love this cover.

hell be fine

On paper, Red Robin isn't a bad name. It has history, Tim's Robin costume was red, and he gets to be Robin without being "Robin", representing status progression and individuality for him.
It's just everything else about it isn't any good. It's unpleasant to say and it doesn't really work with the costume he has now.

>Team Blue and Gold
Cute.

>Pardon the figure of speech.
What a cunt.

>put together who the first victim is
>when he's right there unconscious and can be unmasked
>can take DNA samples from him easily as well
Are these writers fucking retards?

If he's just some regular guy, there would be no reason to have his DNA on record. Maybe the Batcomputer could do some facial recognition on him, but as far as we know, his face could be disfigured.

There are good reasons why it might not be easy to figure out who he is even with him right there.

Keep reading this has become really painful to me

>There are good reasons why it might not be easy to figure out who he is even with him right there.
Except they don't do the obvious step number fucking 1 and unmask him first.

That's a great cover.

bet you this does nothing

>no blood
Not dead

>Naming it the belfry is too much even for Batman

I love that even though he turned into a Kaiju, they all still seem to be in agreement that Clayface is someone who needs help, and not be taken down.

>First Victim is such a fucking loser that he can beaten off-panel by Anarky.
Honestly I'd quit right then and there.

Fucken kid can't follow a direct order.

>Cain
>Kane

Are they secretly related? Different branches of the family?

It's cynical but it's also true, the era where people like Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Rogue can stay reformed is long over, and I'm not sure of it ever really began for DC at all. Because it requires editors to keep track of villain cameos, put their foot down on people who want to write a relapse, and calculate that villain staying good is more profitable than villain staying bad.

Who gives a shit if he can be reformed or not? He just destroyed the city and was about to change again. Of course you shoot him while he's vulnerable. That's not even a question.

Oh come the fuck on.
I wanted Clayface to stay in the Batfamily.
I hope he'll be okay.

This page is so comfy

The Kane family predates the first appearance of David Cain by decades, so probably not.

Maybe the Robins should take a hint and wear an armored cowl like dear old bat dad

In your fucking face, #OccupyGotham

Why do I feel all this is going to feed back into some idiots plan of "See Batman I did this all for you. See the people understand why they need you."

She must suffer for being the best. That is her curse.

>he's... so big.
CASSANDRA NO!

NOOOOOOOO YOU BITCH

Go back to the Colony, ass.

You're missing the point. The story didn't have to be about a villain that failed to reform.

> This is going to traumatize Cass more.

Good job Kate.

What? Steph probably showed her tentacle porn? Only natural she realized it now.

>The World's Greatest Detective

This issue was shit.
This arc was shit.
This book has been shit since Tim came back.
Batwoman is shit...okay MORE shit than she's ever been before.
That said, while she is a bitch, she isn't the only idiot at fault here. Tim is the one who somehow thought the Mudroom would be a good idea despite knowing this could happen, Steph is the idiot who made it so the VS could do ANY of this and Bruce is the idiot who brought these arses and idiots together.
I'd say kudos to Luke and JPV for just being ineffectual, but they're about to go join up with the mega bitch in the Colony so they're ruined too.

>detective comics
>People in tigh suits with weapons fight giant mud guy

Daily reminder that Dyke characters are shit

Fuck Kate sucks

I find this sad. I liked heroic Clayface.

God Batwoman has just been a heartless bitch lately. I was pissed when Bruce let her get away with shipping Jason to Waller but he better put the fucking smackdown on her now. Savior was right

He did reform though, reverting wasn't really his fault. He chose to be better but got screwed.

If bruce breaks his oath, it will be her, they will push this so we may see why he abandoned everyone in doomsday clock.

Does Clayface even have blood?

This is legitimately terrifying

I'm confused. Does batman let batwoman kill?

Why doesn't Kate just shoot the Joker?

He didn't know about the gun. Kate hid it from the team.

Surely, if this doesn't get addressed next issue, we can call it shit writing, ya?

...

...

I truly hope this is the end of reformed clayface.

Yeah, we can call it that. And for those thinking, "Oh Basil's gonna walk this off. Basil's gonna be fine next issue."

Jacob gave this gun to Kate an issue ago because it was a gesture of "good will" and that they'd make the gun not lethal.

Kate instead uses it for the exact purpose it was made: to kill Basil.

So, are we really supposed to hate Kate for this? Cause-- I'm beginning to think Savior was right. I mean just to pull the trigger right in front of someone who lives off body language.

Which means Cass not only see's her close friend get shot. She knows how much pain Basil is in. She's seeing the final throwes of his life before her eyes. So not only is it a final kick in the nads to see her dear friend killed before her eyes. She knows the exact agonizing pain he's going throw while life escapes him.

Fuuuucck that's brutal. Damn Kate. You could have knocked her out to prevent this horrifying fate.

This is the real reason Tynion left Twitter. He knew the fallout people would be PISSED at this.

Oh shit, when did Lucius get Gordon's suit?

During the Azrael arc. We learned Luke got access to all the suits near the end of Snyder's run.

I don't want these feels just after this issue!!!

>OMG the feels!!!

They unmasked him the first time he was caught, and said he was really badly injured/disfigured.

haha, nice. I am really curious what happens with Mayor Akins hating Batman so much.

Wow. I thought this issue and arc were some of the best this book has been in a long time, and I've loved the book from issue 1 (er, 934).

(inb4 "Tynion plz")

My heart...

I mean, I'm fully on board with the tragedy of this arc, but bloody heck, that's brutal.

Probably what happens to every Mayor in Gotham either death or forced to resign due to corruption.

>(inb4 "Tynion plz")
James, you're drunk. Go home.

but I was inb4!

Abaolutely going to track this variant down.

It's a bit too red for me. But as a Steph fan, I have a tough choice about which Steph cover I buy...I went with the normal one, just because I liked the colors more.

+1

>That little broken Bat

Tynion loves to have Bruce hugging his kids. He's hugged Cass (Batman and Robin Eternal #13), Steph (Tec 940), and Tim (third issue of Lonely Place of Living).

Moore did it better

You forgot he also hugged Cass in the League of Shadow arc (#952?) when Shiva revealed that she is Cass's mom.

Oh, yeah, good catch!

That's all DC needs to get back on track: More bathugs.

It's not all. But it's nice!

Cass will need a lot of hugs thanks to this issue. Dammit, Kate!!

Yes give Cass all the hugs!

>no villains can ever really reform
Well, it almost never happens in real life so why should it in comics?

No villains can ever reform but we still can't kill Joker for some reason.
