Legion #1

Trauma part 1

>Milligan

...

>still has that stupid ass hair.

...

Oh shit, now I actually want to read this.

X-Men Legacy and X-Statix are two of my favorite X-books ever, here's hoping.

Didn't he make himself not exist at the end of his last book?

...

didnt he retcon himself to not exist

Yep, just wrote himself right out of reality (sans sticking around in Blindfold's head). That was before Secret Wars, but hopefully Milligan addresses it.

...

He was also in control of his powers then too.

...

...

...

...

...

I miss legacy captcha so much.

...

...

This is trash compared to Spurrier's Legacy

...

is he looking for blindfold?

...

I mean we're only 14 pages in but...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

And that's it.

For both Legion and Milligan this was surprisingly bland.

Yeah if this doesn't pick up I may just abandon it and pretend that David's still chilling out of reality.

It only looks worse when compared to the stellar first issue of Spurrier's run.

This was just way too decompressed, and didn't give us enough of David to care about him or his predicament.

Are other Legion runs better than this? Because this seems pretty interesting to me

>Are other Legion runs better than this?
Yes, X-Men: Legacy by Spurrier.

I'm hoping that this just means that the first issue is kind of a dud and it picks up with the next few issues.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAH
the art is garbage

IT'S SHIT
FRIGG

I haven't read anything by Milligan in years but yeah this isn't a good start.

>No mention of him ever writing himself out of reality
>No mention of Blindflord
>New blatant OC love interest whose flat ass introduction takes up one third of the book
>The other two thirds are decompressed to hell and the entire plot so far is just the same old "oh no ebil personality will kill men pls stop ebil personality"
>David's personalities are all humans instead of bizarre shit

>New blatant OC love interest whose flat ass introduction takes up one third of the book
It's Hellblazer all over again

Nice to meet you, Doctor Epiphany.
