Well, Seymour, I made it- despite your directions

Well, Seymour, I made it- despite your directions.
Ah.
Superintendent Chalmers.
Welcome.
- I hope you're prepared for an unforgettable luncheon.
- Yeah.
Oh, egads! My roast is ruined.
But what if I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking? Delightfully devilish, Seymour.
Ah- Skinner with his crazy explanations The superintendent's gonna need his medication When he hears Skinner's lame exaggerations There'll be trouble in town tonight Seymour! Superintendent, I was just- uh, just stretching my calves on the windowsill.
Isometric exercise.
Care to join me? Why is there smoke coming out of your oven, Seymour? Uh- Oh.
That isn't smoke.
It's steam.
Steam from the steamed clams we're having.
Mmm.
Steamed clams.
Whew.
Superintendent, I hope you're ready for mouthwatering hamburgers.
I thought we were having steamed clams.
D'oh, no.
I said steamed hams.
That's what I call hamburgers.
You call hamburgers steamed hams? Yes.
It's a regional dialect.
- Uh-huh.
Uh, what region? - Uh, upstate New York.
Really.
Well, I'm from Utica, and I've never heard anyone use the phrase "steamed hams.
" Oh, not in Utica.
No.
It's an Albany expression.
I see.
You know, these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have at Krusty Burger.
Oh, no.
Patented Skinner burgers.
Old family recipe.
- For steamed hams.
- Yes.
Yes.
And you call them steamed hams despite the fact that they are obviously grilled.
Ye- You know, the- One thing I should- - Excuse me for one second.
- Of course.
Well, that was wonderful.
A good time was had by all.
I'm pooped.
Yes.
I should be- Good Lord! What is happening in there? - Aurora borealis.
- Uh- Aurora borealis at this time of year at this time of day in this part of the country localized entirely within your kitchen? - Yes.
- May I see it? No.
Seymour.
! The house is on fire.
! No, Mother.
It's just the northern lights.
Well, Seymour, you are an odd fellow but I must say you steam a good ham.
Help.

Act 1: Enter superintendent
Act 2: Escape to Krusty Burger
Act 3: The luncheon
Act 4: Northern Lights

>Part 1: Phantom Directions

>Part 2: Devilish Tendency

>Part 3: Steamed Crusaders

>Part 4: Aurora is not Borealis

is this loss?

Honest edition:
>Superintendent, I burnt my roast, excuse me while I purchase a substitute, does Hamburgers seem OK with you? First I just have to disconnect the oven and put out the fire, would you hand me the powder based fire extinguisher?

No, but I'm pretty sure it is a Jojo reference.

@1:14

cant believe i wasted my time on this

this has been a thing for a while why is it just blowing up now

I appreciate your effort user

Same reason Connect Four is suddenly hot shit again, despite edits like "Connect Flour" and "Connect One" being old as shit.
Things don't stop being funny with time, and it just takes one or two people to bring a joke into the public consciousness.

>>Part 2: Devilish Tendency

legit sounds like it could be an arc or a series.

also, like in the OP, just by watching a few of them, your youtube recommendations is now infected with the virus and it wont go away. since there are literally thousands of steamed ham edits, you get flooded with them and ultimately a few might seem interesting so you watch them, encouraging the algorithm to show you more... etc etc

delightfully devilish

>anime-topic
>recommended channel for you

Pretty much every idea has been done, there's even a scooby doo one

>tfw within a month, if you bring up this scene people will laugh at you for bringing up an "outdated meme" even though you don't give a shit about that and just like this scene a lot

>memes a few months old are considered old memes now
meme culture needs to die off

I remember the skit being a meme years ago. What the hell is going on?

favorite meme desu

Why does the Blake reveal stand out more than the Hearts of Iron videos?

>not Act 3: Steamed Hams
You fucked up mate, big time.

this one made me laugh the hardest

Fucking gold user

Something like Steamed Hams won't really die off because it's pretty much untouchable by reddit's meme communities. It'll never fully take off with them, thus, it'll never get ran into the ground.

If it's a video, reddit won't touch it, pretty much. Just go ahead and search the "memeeconomy" subreddit for steamed hams.

ma boi willy vs the bellabooty

Does it honestly matter if reddit finds it funny, or anyone for that matter? For me, this is a really 'pure' meme, like an old youtube poop- just silly for the sake of it. It's refreshing when we have something to laugh about that isn't layered with irony or based off some horrible real world event.

Not really, but there's no instance of anyone getting on your case for using an "old meme" or it ever getting ran into the ground with shitty edits.

Why this scene in particular got so much attention?

because its just a genuinely good scene.
I remember before this was a meme it got front page on reddit a few times just as "my favorite simpsons scene"
its really just a shining example of the excellent writing of the early golden-era simpsons
