Take into account that after the scaremonging wears off and more jobs come in, more "minorities", specially the ones working in factories will vote for Trump.
If by 2024 the GOP puts a token minority candidate, say a Condolezza Rice going for president, then the Democrats stand no chance.
And by the way, it is going to take Trump less than 1 year to dismantle what Obama did. And in the 3 next years he will put the USA back to Reagan era in mentality, or even before pre-WW2 levels of economics freedom.
It would take decades for the Democrats to undo that.

There are 3 big demographic shifts that will help Trump in the future:
1. Mexicans being deported, and the remaining latinos, being mostly working class, being pretty open to the GOP 2. Whites in the rust belt gave Trump a chance. If his policies work, and he manages to win over the unions, these states will be solidly red 3. The biggest thing Trump did this election cycle was shatter the power of the media. Outside of liberal enclaves in cities, nobody fucking takes them seriously anymore. Liberals depend on this media to create a general pressure towards blue policies.
It all depends on how his administration goes, really. We're in the middle of a demographic realignment. If he succeeds, democrats are pretty fucked, because there's not really any any equivalent demographic on the red side that is willing to switch sides. Cuckservatives and nevertrumpers mostly followed their leaders, and now that Trump delivered them so much power, they're bending the knee.

Blacks aren't going anywhere. There's a good chance we will get rid of a bunch of illegal Mexicans (just beginning by deporting the criminals, and Trump's rhetoric, will cause a ton of them to flee as well.) Illegal immigrants from other countries aren't a huge part of the population but a crackdown on mexicans may get them to start returning as well. But legalized immigrants, they're staying. Blacks are staying.
