U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm

Anyone else remember the other comic Jim Davis used to write?

Only as part of Garfield & Friends.

...

I can assure you that almost nobody even knows it was a comic and that the only reason it's remembered is because of the "Garfield & Friends" cartoon.

...

I only just discovered it was a comic.

Unlike the cartoon, Bo was a total moron.

...

...

Why is Orson wearing mascara?

...

Never read all of it, but the TV show was good+ (with occasional crap episode).

...

No kidding.

>mom
Wait so orson's a woman? I always thought it was a guy when I watched garfield and friends

No, Orson's a guy. Booker and Sheldon just call him mom since he hatched them.

Oh, well I definitely didn't remember that

...

These comics are mildly funny, and infinitely funnier than Garfield. This is what Davis should be famous for.

Lanolin was easily the best in the comics.

kek

jesus

...

It's amazing that I haven't seen this cartoon in decades, but I can still read the comic in their voices.

...

I don't suppose anyone has a download with all the strips?

I was sure the pig was male in the cartoon but it's acting very feminine in these comics plus it has huge eyelashes.

Ditto. Getting mixed signals here.

Why the fuck does Orson have eyelashes?

Jim Davis has this weird notion that long eyelashes are shorthand for being immature instead of being a woman, hence Nermal

It took me so long to realize Nermal was a guy

This
and even then it wasn't my favorite part of Garfield and Friends.

Does anyone remember when Jim Davis tried to do a Mr. Potato Head comic? I don't think it lasted that long.

These make the comics posted in the Beetle Bailey thread seem much better. Even the Boner ones, which were pretty bad.

you and three fourths of rule 34.

That's less voodoo and more reality warping.
Typically sympathetic magic is supposed to work on both objects, you stick a voodoo doll and the needle goes in.
>Inb4 it's just a joke
Fuck you, I'm free to comment on the composition of the joke. If someone started with a knock knock and ended with "to get to the other side", you'd question what happened from A to B.

His high-pitched girly voice certainly didn’t help matters either.

not if "who's there" was answered with "chicken"

So, is Davis referencing Ito, or is Ito referencing Davis?

What an original opinion.

I may not remember it, but am I surprised that it was? No.

Got any panels or strips of it to share?

I want Lanolin to be my femdom mistress

wait, what?
Really?

chicken who?

Chicken you out!
