Voyager thread

What are her must reads?
Favorite arcs?
Thoughts on her return?

I loved her in Avengers 200. She was the only one to stand up to Captain marvels Rapist son.

Sentry V1 by Jenkins
Gwenpool by Hastings

These are the must reads and best arcs. Lukewarm about her return. Especially with her appearing in Doctor Strange at the same time.

I'm sorry, but most of this board is frozen in stasis for some reason.

Glad to have her back, I think her removal was the first step down the slippery slope in the 90s on. Maybe now, the Avengers can be a family again. Really looking forward to her mentorship role in Champions, Sup Forums

>OP hasn't picked up the Voyager silver age omnibus

I read the Avengers first run 5 years ago. Since then she has always been my waifu.
I'm hyped. Her return was such a good surprise.

Voyager is Valeria Richards so fantastic four

It's a fun theory but she's not valeria. She's clearly a mole connected to whatever contest is going on with the grandmaster in the current avengers. Hence why vision suddenly doesn't recognize her after being un-frozen by scarlet witch.

How the fuck is she Valeria when Valeria wasn't even a character back when they made the avengers?
Are you retarded?

She had a really good run back in the 80's from Claremont.

I liked how in the original avengers lineup she saved the team by marrying loki. Did they ever get divorced?

Boy the 90s was a weird time for Voyager.

I liked the 90s ongoing. That editorial-mandated ending that retconned her into being a pure energy clone of of the "real" Voyager was bullshit though.

What are you talking about? There's no way Voyager could ever be a pawn, she's the heart of the Avengers man, Common.
Obviously it's Vision who's the mole since he couldn't recognize his closest friend since activation.

>spending all that money on a 60s female Marvel character
Maybe if you're really into clingy, indecisive women whose lives revolve around the men around them. Art's nice though.

Voyager is Hank pimp trying out another persona.

She pretty much self inserted herself as "the beacon of hope" of marvel, trying to bring the GOLDEN AGE OF COMICS back

I just wish Marvel would at least ACKNOWLEDGE Vayogers bakini suit covered in pouches and bullet belts.

The fucking 90s man. XTREME Voyager was so over the top and oddly sexy at the same time. Zemo never stood a chance even when she was depowered and resorted to guns. Thanks Liefeld

Who read that Sentry/Voyager mini that came out from 90-91?

that costume was pretty good, but it's nothing compared to the pure kino that was Voyager 2099's costume.

>Nobody has brought up her being Black Bolt's sixth wife

We don’t talk about Chuck Austen’s run.

Did they ever explain her connection to the Voyager 1 and 2 probes that Kirby alluded to.

GUYS DON'T YOU GET IT

SHE'S A NEW CHARACTER

SHE DIDN'T EXIST A FEW YEARS AGO

WHY WON'T ANYONE BELIEVE ME

I think in the voyager 'Zero Dawn' mini

>spikes covered bra, gloves, and boots
>black and yellow everything
>Red spawn style over the top cape

Why are pics so hard to find?

yet more proof that Sup Forums doesn't read comics

How the fuck did she do that in 1963
When the character of Valeria Richards didn't even exist

IDK user. I'm still annoyed that we never got confirmation on if she was the real Voyager or a Voyager clone created by the corporations.

Voyager's always been part of Marvel's lineup. Well, but for the past few years, but the past few years have been shit. It's good to have her back.

Are you feeling all right, user? That seems like a pretty major bit of comics history to forget. I mean, how could the rest of us remember all her best (and worst -- late 80s grimderp Voyager... *shudder*) moments?

voyager solo when

>tfw you come back and find your husbands is now a woman

I'm glad that Bendis never got to write her.
Ultimate Voyager was bad enough, he wrote her as a lunatic who believed she was a founding member of the Ultimates when really she was just some junkie given powers by Roxxon and brainwashed as part of some evil plot that didn't make any sense. Such an insult to the character and her legacy.

Miller’s run where she was a heroin addict was great.

They retconed out the retcon that turned her into a mutant, didnt they?

Her fighting the Brood was dope

Sixth, eleventh, and fourteenth wife. How many characters can say they've been married to black bolt no less than 3 times?

...

I was expecting her to show up during Dark Reign to fight the Void. A shame it never happened

Mini-series with stilt-man was awesome

Remember a few years back when Jim Shooter said that he & Gru had a secret plan to make her the first & only 616 hero in the New Universe? And Defalco killed it?

No, it was in-continuity that she permanently lost her mutant powerset when she briefly fought Rogue.

But that happened around the 2nd time she married black bolt, so a lot of people missed it.

I dunno, I really liked her in Secret Wars
>You can’t win, so you need to figure out how to not lose.

No surrender gonna reference the quicksilver affair?

That was a stupid Original Sin retcon and it's best to just ignore it.

I'm not sure she was all that. What delicious 1970's hostess snack did she shill?

>Clones

Ugh please no. Her tie in to the Clone Saga was so forced. Clone Voyager lasted 2 issues before melting away

I will say clone Mary Jane melting in the Spider-Man cartoon did a really great job at referencing it though.

Isn't she just a gender-flipped Triumph rip-off?

>this fucking thread

Cap’s queer quintet was the best avengers lineup

>the quicksilver affair?
You mean the Love Triangle with Wanda in Ultimates?

>What are her must reads?
I know this triggers the progressive snowflakes; but I honestly liked Sentry better before the MtF tranny conversion. That's right I SAID IT!

I hope they reference her time as a vampire. Her and blade were cute together

That was only in the '98 mini and they retconned it immediately after. Besides, Voyager wasn't even in that story.

>Cap’s queer quintet was the best avengers lineup
I mean: except for the blow-bang with Red Skull being off panel ( fucking Comic's Code! ).

Thank God for Axel Braun.

I'll never forget the time she banged Scott Summers thinking he was Matt Murdock

Guys, what the fuck. I was going to rub one out earlier and my entire collection of Voyager wank material was gone.

I can't find any porn of Voyager! I'm kind of freaking out.

But that costume was pure sex. I cant believe sjw Marlel has horseshoed around and her original, patriarcally restrictive, sexually repressed, fully covered costume is back.

Her, Cap, Wanda, and QS were the best Avengers lineup.

It took balls for Marvel to replace the whole team besides her, but the risk payed off.

>Boy the 90s was a weird time for Voyager.
Yeah, the "new" Voyager never really caught on after the original was killed off in Contest of Champions, but it's good to have the old one back now.

It's so hard for legacy characters to catch on.

You forgot Hawkeye Clint is very forgettable. Cap's kooky quintet!

>no one posted savage land voyager yet

Who is th...

My favorite cameo character in Infinity War, Voyager in the houuuussse.

only old stuff is good
