Kang with the Ultimate Nullifier in the background, and his "owo what's this" face. Mike I'm so sorry you had to do this book, but I appreciate the nods to Kirby. I hope it was your idea and not some editorial "make it nostalgiaer!"

ngl the whole 'soul world is really a DESERT WASTELAND' is kind of silly. Obvs the stone would want people to stay in it, make a paradise.

Oh, Rocky!

Sax the Destroyer

You guys are aware that there have been more events with the word Infinity outside of the 90's and prior to this right? Not saying that Synergy might have not been a motive but don't act like they haven't been a thing since the 90's

Classic Gamora is a sight for sore eyes

...

Yes, the fact that this event is happening while hype is building for Avenger: Infinity War is pure coincidence.

>Not saying that Synergy might have not been a motive but don't act like they haven't been a thing since the 90's.

Learn to read.

>Phylla-Vell
Paging Judge user

I remember Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War and Infinity Crusade, those were all '90s. (hits up google) didn't know about Hickman's "Infinity" in 2013. Should I bother, or was it all wiped out by a reboot?

SPACE LESBIANS!!!!!! DARKHAWK!!!!

Minus points for getting Rich's colors wrong.

Infinity had nothing to do with the stones. Was a big disappointment.

...

That's a fucking porn pose if I ever saw one, Adam.

...

...

You forgot Starlin's Infinity recent Infinity Trilogy: Infinity Relativity, Infinity Revelations, and Infinity Finale.

Also his upcoming Infinity: Siblings which might be one of his last works at Marvel unless Yoshida manages to give him work in a way were he doesn't have to deal with Brevoort.

this new look for adam is terrible.

Phyla is here, he will come.

...

I agree, but other than the look I've been enjoying the books so far

Carol died moments before she could stick her futa cock into Luke cage

why does he keep holding that staff like he's displaying his cock?

...

And before Rocket stuck his into her.
Also they're above Deadpool, what kind of sick orgy was this?

He lacks a cock so it's the only way he can fap.

...

Does anyone else read Adam with Cam Clarke's Liquid Snake voice

...

I thought Rama Tut and Kang hated each other? Or was that Immortus and Kang.

>Infinity Countdown Prime

shouldn't Magus have a big lavender afro?

Two questions: As a huge fan of Allred who's been away from the big two, should I read this and his Silver Surfer?
Why is Warlock Madman now? I mean, I'm A-OK with it because I love both, but still, he's just Frank with a fancy cape.

i hated silver surfer but the art was really goat. i think he tried to fix the awful design and failed.

You're also forgetting Starlin's Infinity Abyss from 2002.

Please, Allreds' designs are magnifique

>Silver Surfer
No, you don't want to read Slott's Surfer

that's kuder's design bro

Kuder's had a belt and didn't have the bolt.

>Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk #1-4
Sold, motherfucking sold.

>Infinity Countdown: Daredevil? What the fuck? Really? A street hero?

>Infinity Countdown: Captain Marvel #1
Even if Stohl is shit I will check it out only if Phyla is there

>Infinity Countdown: Black Widow
>Infinity Countdown: Champions #1-#2
Shit-tier

>Daredevil and Black Widow one-shots
But why

>Champions 2-parter
BUT WHY

>Darkhawk 4 parter
BUT WH-wait no this is awesome. Fuck yes!

Gentlemen, Marvel has returned. Hail! Excelsior!

This is just a one-shot to bridge the gap between GotG 150's revival of Adam and the start of Infinity Countdown. This issue was originally GotG 151, but they changed it because GotG is going on hiatus for the duration of Countdown.

As for Silver Surfer, Allred's art is as good as ever but the writing is mediocre. Slott is trying a bit too hard to be funny by way of Doctor Who, and he never quite nails it. I'd say it's worth reading for Allred, but just don't get your hopes up for a compelling story or anything. The story is, at best, serviceable.

That's Warlock, not Mar-vell.

A tangible pillar, indicative of evolution. A sentinel of Marvelosity.

I think he means Marvel in general?

Anyway as I was going to say in the other thread, I really enjoyed this book and I felt some Starlin vibes going on throughout. I like that even his suit from the Infinity Entity shows up in this one shot, as it's a story not many tend to reference.
Another thing: DARKHAWK FOUR PART TIE-IN I told you dog! I knew he was going to come back.
I don't understand what the Champions, Daredevil or Black Widow figure in all this, but since these books have new creative teams it might turn out to be good, we'll see. And Stohl might incorporate Phyla too so WHO KNOWS, I'm sold either way.

Champions has Nova on it which might be what ties them in, though I guess they could have just done a Nova one-shot were that the case. Daredevil and Black Widow, I have no idea.

Carol was clearly going for Kamala, but only because Jess wasn't there.

>You are the finest artificial intelligence that mankind will ever know
Don't let Pymtron hear you say that.

I enjoyed it too, Duggan's run is not perfect or GOAT but it's been pretty enjoyable and fun so I'm definitely in it for it too.

I'm happy about Darkhawk too, there's at least three people who like him at Marvel (Duggan, Cebulski, and the guy who wrote his latest one-shot). They can do a Nova and Darkhawk duo comic with him and Rich and I would definitely read it (but who knows if it will sell).

> And Stohl might incorporate Phyla too so WHO KNOWS
Oh god no, I would read it if Phyla was there and I can't stand Stohl's quirky silly billy writing. She had an interesting alt-universe concept but she fucked it up pretty badly. Her Captain Marvels Legacy with Mar-Vell was decent and only because they made a good duo, if she can find a way for Carol and Phyla to play against each other I guess it would be OK.

I would rather they done that Nova one shot with Rich and Sam in it (even if it triggers autists) but I'm guessing Champions will be it's own thing while Rich will most likely be in the main event and probably in Darkhawk (considering Robbie is a Raptor).

>Carol's back in May
>Might even be with Phyla
YAAS!

Hulk is feeling up Darkhawk. This amuses me.

Really minor but I like how the panels flow on this page. Usually, 2 panels above each other would be read before the one next to it, but this one has the text AND Adam's hand directing you towards how to read it.

>KEK

The speech bubbles guide you where to read and then Adam's hand tells you were to go next, it's pretty straightforward even if it breaks panel sequence.

>Why is Warlock Madman now?
Because Allred is a terribly overrated one trick pony who can only draw a couple variations of the same designs.

>Daredevil and Black Widow
There is not a single good reason why these two characters should have tie-ins to this event and if I hear that they don't add much to the narrative then I'll be fine skipping them
>Champions
I'm hoping it just ends up being Sam and Rich, that would make it cool.
>CM
Really haven't liked her stuff.
>Darkhawk
This makes up for everything. Not a single problem here.
I'll still buy the one-shots and Champions cuz I don't want to miss anything.

Wait who has the other stones right now? I know Wolverine had Space, but has marvel gone into the other ones?

Slott's Silver Surfer is comfy, particularly due to Allred's splendid art.
I only ended up dropping it post SW due to a budget shortage at the time.

Power Stone is gigantic and being guarded by Drax and the (currently pregnant) mother of the Nova Family from Duggan's Infinity Gauntlet mini.

Carol's ongoing has been concerning an infinity stone, but I don't know which one.

>Phyla-Vell confirmed for coming back in the most heartwrenching way possible
... fuck, I'll take it.

>Wolverine = Space
>Super-Skrull = Time
>Magus = Soul
>Loki = Mind
>Captain Marvel = Reality
>The Guardians = Power

I just noticed reading this a second time, but it seems Kang must have known that his time was up and/or he wasn't allowed to time travel to that exact point since a hourglass activates in and empties just with So that means whoever gets the Gauntlet is gonna be more OP than Thanos was.

>>You are the finest artificial intelligence that mankind will ever know
I sit bad I was totally unaware he was artificial intelligence?

Why do people think Phyla will appear in her ongoing, exactly?
I know she might be coming back, but any other reason?

She's Mar-Vell's daughter and Carol's connection to him has been heavily emphasized ever since she became Captain Marvel.

He was created in a lab by other life-forms that were born through their species natural form of reproduction. I'd say that constitutes being artificial. He can also think freely so that counts him as an intelligence.

Oh, I know. I'm just wondering if it's hinted that she'll be sticking around or not, I've been a little out of the loop. I'm definitely all for it.

I can imagine her staying for the duration of IC but then it's either known from the start or revealed as a twist that she's an alternate universe Phyla that Carol brought from another reality.

You know, I would give Marvel some credit IF Thanos doesn't collect the gauntlet this time. In fact, have Thanos be a red herring. But knowing SYNERGY, it'll be Thanos again.

I'm hoping it's not Thanos. I'm betting that the big bad will be one of the Elders of the Universe. Probably not Grandmaster since he's in the current Avengers story.

>MORE DARKHAWK COMICS

WHAAAAAT

THIS IS THE BEST NEWS I'VE HEARD TODAY

Goddamnnit his first appearance was in FF. Why are they always sidelined.

to be fair, it wasn't that good of a first appearance.

shadowed villain standing over Gamora is clearly Uatu the Watcher.

no need to read Infinity folks.

He has been dead 4 years. That's typically a long enough time to bring a character back to life.
