Well?

Well?

>gumball
>twitter

>Watching (((American))) cartoons

it was mostly a joke on how people frequently put clips of gumball on twitter and it goes viral, and constantly the comments say "OMG SO WILD, THIS SHOW GETS AWAY WITH EVERYTHING"

>no WOY
>no Harvey Beaks
>Villainous is on there despite not even having an official full show
nice chart user

>In a world where the vast majority of western cartoons are solely character driven, Steven Universe, a lore-driven show, is the example for "values characters above story"

>WOY
>modern cartoon
but its gone

what if none of those are my favorite?

its more saying
>you can watch a show with a shitty story as long as it has characters you like
because thats the only reason people still watch SU

I thought modern cartoon just meant something like "came out in this decade".

>nuPPG
>"No, it''s not"
What's "not"? The statement wasn't asking a question.

well you can make your own chart and share it.

Gumball by far.

>you can watch a show with a shitty story as long as it has characters you can have as your waifu
Fixed that for you.

i guess that works too

I have literally never used twitter and Gumball is the only show there I like.

>tangled
hello mouse shill!

>SU
>lore driven
Nah. It feels like the lore and overarching story is a fucking inconvenience to the crew. "Uh do we HAVE to do another plot heavy episode? We just did one like 100 episodes ago. I really just want to have Steven befriend an Syrian orphan while they make jokes about socks for 15 minutes"

I don't watch cartoons because I'm not 12. I come to Sup Forums for comic talk but all I get is the same 5 virginity circlejerks and Sup Forums roleplayers whining about Marvel.

I almost wish Google would buy us so there can be some actual structure for once

so why are you in this thread to begin with?

He answered your question in his post.

>Your favourite cartoon
>NuPPG
>"No, it's not"
I think that's how it's meant to go.

Because I want you to feel bad for liking garbage as a person nearing 30 years of sge

Gumball or SU

>"I don't watch cartoons because I'm not 12"
>reads comic books

yeah i guess that works too.I dont really hate TTGO

and I wish comic users could talk about comics that aren't capeshit

TTG or Loud House

Fixed again because I fucked up a word the first time

I'm 22 user. You're projecting pretty hard.

I don't understand Adventure Time. If I'm saying it's my favorite show obviously I'm sticking with it and will watch it to the end but that doesn't say anything about me like the others do.

its saying it in general, if you see a show for too long, you stick by it til the end. That can apply to people who stick with other shows that have gone for too long, like TWD,or Sherlock,or what some RS fans where like.
Some people arent like that. Plenty of my friends dropped AT a while ago

That makes sense, I just don't know why it was phrased like that. To match with the others it should be "You stick with stuff to the end long after everyone else moves on" or something.

>more than ten OTPs
Do people not know what the O in OTP stands for?
Thats like saying you have more than one waifu.

>no gravity falls or harvey beaks

But those are the only two modern cartoons I enjoy.

yeah,i admit that i could have worded it better

With modern cartoons i meant cartoons that are still airing, and gravity falls is over.
I didnt put anything about harvey beaks because i havent seen that show, but i should probably check it

>Loud House
>You prefer comfy settings above long overarching stories
Can you really say this when their are no good shows with an overarching story that could beat it out?

From this chart I have watched
>SU
>Loud House
>Gumball
>Rick and Morty
>TTGO
>Villanious
>AT

I can't consider either my favorite. They don't have a signifcant long term impact or simply fade away or overstay their welcome

Oh well in that case I don’t like any currently airing cartoons. I gave up on Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, and Gumball a long time ago. I couldn’t get past the first few episodes of SU. I’ve been thinking of maybe picking up Bojack though but the rest don’t appeal to me.

This guide is dumb as fuck Trevor, put your fucking hand down

Gravity Falls could have but it doesn’t match the whole currently airing theme OP has.

...

>star vs
>mlp
???

I'd swap Gumball and Loud House.
Probably would call R&M /r9k/ material too.

Mine's Venture Bros. I'm very patient.

I hate that loud house threads take over /trash/. I’m going to /trash/ because I want to see fat animal porn. If I wanted to see generals for unfunny mediocre kids cartoons I would come back here.

>/RV/
Do you mean /vr/, or is this some general I'm not aware of? Also I'd say PPG should be /out/ and there's no reason to have Tangled as /fa/.

The generals were put there because /tlhg/ is worse than /sug/ and it also has a lot of loli.

Definitely means /vr/. I agree with everything else.

Considering loli is against the rules of that board mods should just prune them once and for all. They wouldn’t be missed as every other part of /trash/ hates them.

>Tangled
>Shows that surpass expectations

Tangled's the only cartoon on that pic I'm not currently watching, but I love stuff that surprises people by having the creators put effort into making something work. (The Lego Movie, The Flinstones comic book.)

>AT
>/tg/

what

Who keeps making these threads? Ive seen them on Sup Forums Sup Forums Sup Forums and now here.

It's got swords and bad fantasy elements. It's as close to /tg/ as it can get.

AT was heavily based off of DnD and in the early seasons there were lots of references/homages to it. Not as apparently anymore though since the show started doing it's own thing.

There's been some fun /tg/ AT threads over the years, like people trying to decipher runes and discussing the lore or what class Finn is. Fun times.

What board should Star be?

...

I was thinking this too because it's the most girly board on the site

/cgl/

>bojack horseman fucks your shit up
dude, the drama (and comedy) is forced as hell
babby's first existential cartoon isn't even that well done
>am... am I a good person
>boo hoo hoo, I do bad things and it affects me negatively
whatever

Steven Universe is unironically enjoyable
TTG probably isn't as bad as people say it is
Most people who like Rick and Morty just like funny cartoons
The only one that's actually accurate is Star Vs.

>I don't watch cartoons because I'm not 12
>I come to Sup Forums for comic talk

I wish you replied to >TTG probably isn't as bad as people say it is
Like Sup Forums

See

i fucking love this
god fucking dammit how did i miss venture bros,i love that show.

I don't particularly care for any of those. A few are okay, though

Yeah who would have thought that if you came into a thread about cartoons you would find cartoon discussion. Sorry you had to go through this shock, user.

all of them but rapunzel are trash, even star vs outside of cuckery

>/rv/
you dumb nigger

/cm/

Thanks for sharing.

Horse Show

As much as it wants to be, Canada isn't "America"

Where's Sonic Boom?

I don't use twitter at all

There used to be a lot more but company bullshit spreading over from Sup Forums and Sup Forums thanks to live action marvel drove most of them away. That and the changes to storytimes thanks to hiroshima

Boom is over, right? OP only did currently airing shows

You forgot Duck Tales.

What it says about you:
You really miss Gravity Falls.

I'll let you know when I find it on the schedule.

It hasn't been cancelled yet. It could still come back.

Right, and Sticks will been seen again.

>You use twitter a lot
This doesn't make any sense at all.

Or
>you fucking cunts are driving me to Sup Forums with your retarded horseshit

OP just copied what most fans on Sup Forums have to say about the positives of each show. Otherwise the chart would be biased because it calls Villainous the only cartoon that isn't trash.
