Will the new TMNT be good?

Will the new TMNT be good?

Why is Mikey a girl?

>Raphael as leader

Why so small?

Im not a big TMNT fan but, why does Raph have tonfas? Why does Mike have a beyblade?

>Raphael stars as the leader but over time recognize that Leonardo is better suited for the roll

because not everything has to be the same forever and ever.

Making change for the sake of change is dumb, and by extension so are you for thinking it’s good.

Yeah make them elder average frog samurais next time!

That sounds awesome.

This would actually be pretty cool

It doesn’t have to stay the same
But holy god they don’t have to shit all over it for the sake of change

Why do they all look like shit and why should anyone still give a fuck about this half-dead franchise that's been beaten to death like a limp lifeless dick?

Why are saying that while posting fucking Megatron who has been fighting Optimus Prime for 40 years

Try not to undermine your point with rad as fuck ideas user.

>baseless faith the post

>says the Transfag

Leo looks ok, a bit too skinny.
Raph is fine too, I don't mind him buffer.
Don getup is cool, I hope they give him more of a mad inventor vibe instead of the nerd.
I don't like Mikey, wat too cutesy.
Splinter is hideous, I don't know what they were thinking.
April's probably gonna be some sjw abomination.

Buddy, look what symbol he's wearing.
Transformers explores new ideas all the fucking time, what are you talking about.

There's a difference between "the sake of change" and changing something to introduce new concepts and combinations for a fresh story experience.

A "the sake of change" change would to give the turtles new headband colours and nothing else.

>new ideas
Oh yes, IDW is doing wonders! Autobots and Decepticons switching moral factions? Transformers discovering the wonders of diverse non-binary pronouns? How fucking original.

Elder regular frog samurais!
Elder regular frog samurais!
Elder regular frog samurais!
Villains in a full jump!
Frog impotence!

>Transformers discovering the wonders of diverse non-binary pronouns?
There has been exactly ONE (1) panel where this happened.

>to introduce new concepts and combinations
This literally does nothing. Aesthetic changes are and always will be "for the sake of change" and add nothing since its just superficial garbage. A good example of fresh story experiences is making Raf the leader, but even that can either work or fail depending on how competent the writers are.

...

try reading my full post before replying. giving the turtle different weapons changes how fights are done. that is a functional difference.

>Don getup is cool, I hope they give him more of a mad inventor vibe instead of the nerd.
Only thing that bothers me is that fucking cube head.

That's not non-binary you fucking idiot

Do we actually have confirmation of that?

Why is april a nigger

>You will not post any of the following outside of Sup Forums: Trolls, flames, racism, off-topic replies, uncalled for catchphrases, macro image replies, indecipherable text (example: "lol u tk him 2da bar|?"), anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images, post number GETs ("dubs"), or loli/shota pornography.

That is a bare minimum change, and not all contributory to anything of any value.

I think there's something genuinely great about that Splinter but nothing else looks interesting or even stylistically coherent to Splinter.

then why are you upset about it

I do like that Donnie's looked the coolest he's ever been.

Have they said who the voice cast is yet?

Because it’s dumb, will not contribute to making the show better or more interesting, and only serves to dilute the established images of the Turtles. The better question is Why are you so defensive of it?

its not racist its an honest question

>and only serves to dilute the established images of the Turtles.

It won't be the 2003 cartoon (which was the pinnacle of western animation), so no.

>grasshopper dragster Kickbavk will never get a toy

A man can dream user

>if I post a surprised reaction image, that means the other person is wrong and has to explain himself
Allow me to elucidate this for your tiny rodent brain.

Characters have a set of established traits that are regarded as integral to being that character, both in personality and aesthetic. Maintaining these traits are what allows these character to remain recognizable no matter how many reboots or redesigns they go through. Deviating from this and changing the way the character looks or acts in an iteration for no reason dilutes this core image of the character, making them less recognizable as they turn into nothing more than a name that writers use for brand recognition.

...

I think one of the interviews basically implies that, especially when they emphasize that Raphael STARTS out as being the leader.

>That Splinter

What have character designers against curves nowdays? What's so wrong about it that everything needs to be square?

Easier to animate in flash

Why does April have a ten year old's body, but Weezy Jefferson's head?

Yeah this is the voice cast:
Omar Benson Miller - Raphael
Ben Schwartz - Leonardo
Josh Brener - Donatello
Brandon Mychal Smith - Michelangelo
Kat Graham - April O'Neil
Eric Bauza - Splinter
Oh and John Cena plays a new character, an alchemist villain

Who's the bird guy on the heroes side?

This isn't even the stupidest shit they've done with TMNT, not even close. Remember when the turtles all got mystic weapon redesigns from the the ancient god shredders that all happened to share neon color schemes with the turtles that also gave them shitty magic super moves?
Yeah this isn't that bad

Except splinter, he looks like shit.

And April looks like the most boring design ever conceived, like a cross between Moon Girl and someone from the magic school bus remake

You don't remember Ace Duck

lewds of Black April when
