Go the US embassy and get a US work visa. After that, go start the process for citizenship. It will take a long time, though, but just make sure your visas are up to date and you'll be gucci. From my understanding, there is kind of an "americanism" test at the end. It's incredibly easy and a literal retard can do it. It mainly consists of dumb questions like: "Who was the first president?", "Who is the current president/vp?", and other historical facts/constitution amendments.

Work Visas usually require a job, from my understanding. But, presuming you come over with a Visitor's Visa, instead of the 90 day waiver, you can change your status (quick research ball parks the lawyer/filing fees at about 1100 dollars), or, if your employer is big enough, they can petition on your behalf.
After that, you get to begin the long road to permanent resident status, then applying for citizenship, THEN (presuming you don't like paying taxes twice), renounce your German citizenship.
