Is this really a Pixar movie?

Is this really a Pixar movie?

Is it really even a movie?

Is it really?

REALLY NIGGA IS THAT SHIT A PIXAR MOVIE CAUSE THAT BITCH LOOKS UGLY AS FUCK

...

What were they thinking? I refuse to believe even a one person at the studio genuinely thought it was worth showing.

Well, you always were a narrow-minded person. Hopefully with time you will grow out of it.

Cute teenaged redhead with a cute accent and into arms. What's not to like?

It was a terrible, terribble disappointment.

THIS is what really defines a Pixar movie. Years and years of effort put into perfectly animating some trivial aspect of the movie.

Too bad they couldn't perfect that trivial, unimportant aspect called writing.

I'd like to see the 95% complete movie they scrapped and put into the vault to start over with the one they replaced. Only one scene exists of it out in public.

I want a sequel just to see her in a story that lives up to how cool that initial teaser was and doesn't get bogged down in some shit arranged marriage storyline

I think the entire teaser consists of footage of the aforementioned 95% completed movie that was shelved. I just watched it and I don't recall seeing any of it in the final movie, but I could be wrong.

The impression the teaser gives is something I want to see too. I watched the audio commentary & the directors joke that maybe in "50 years Pixar will release it."

Attached pic is the only scene they confirm is from the almost completed movie, it appears in trailer #1.

If The Incredibles can get a sequel after all these years is it possible Brave can get one as well?

It's not the worst Pixar movie (I think Cars 2 holds that distinction, and even THAT got a sequel), but the movie lacks what makes most other Pixar movies famous.

I'd love for a sequel that focuses on an older Merida.

...

See, knowing what I know about the people who lived in those times, I'm sure there's enough bacteria in her cleavage to contribute towards biological warfare.

>I think the entire teaser consists of footage of the aforementioned 95% completed movie that was shelved.

Why was it shelved?

We could've had aan awesome mystical princess movie but instead got M(Br)other Bear

I want to motorboat Merida's massive sweaty medieval titties

Don't be surprised if you contract a virulent disease afterwards. Just stay far away from me, that's all.

Don't want to die? Convince her to take a good bath first.

Was it worse than the Good Dinosaur though

Good Dinosaur's probably Pixar's weakest non-Cars movie. It's the cinematic equivalent to a boring empty open world game.

...

It was more like teenage drama but with the inclusion of magic.

needs a porn parody

...

which scene?

wow, im like, getting REAL FUCKING ANGRY

I don't care about shitty princess
I like this faggots price alot

Apparently the winter stuff was tied into the whole bear transformation curse thing. That meddling with magic created winter in the middle of summer like a certain movie that came out a few years later.

I haven't watched the audio commentary since 2013 so I have to go by memory. IRC it was how the story evolved during production, among several other reasons. It was originally supposed to take place during winter with snow and everything. I think they said they were having difficulty getting snow scenes rendered nicely and eventually favoured the lush green forests instead. Also, the original director who came up with the original character was replaced in 2010 (about 18 months before release) over creative differences. Mark Andrews dropped the "magical" theme from the movie.

This one... the brief shot of Fergus on his horse in the snow.

Good Dinosaur is a great cowboy flick.

So it's true that Frozen doesn't have an original bone in its body, then.

>It was originally supposed to take place during winter with snow and everything. I think they said they were having difficulty getting snow scenes rendered nicely and eventually favoured the lush green forests instead.

That would have been amazing. I think my favorite part of the movie was Merida trekking through the snow and almost getting mauled by Mor'du. If the whole movie were like that, just her trying to survive in the frozen wilderness, it would have been better.

It's funny how snow is harder to render than trees with individual leaves and the ground with individual blades of grass with some flowers here and there.

This but could it be done

>what if toys had feelings?
>what if monsters had feelings?
>what if fish had feelings?
>what if scottish people had feelings?

seems pretty pixar to me

why are her knees so dirty

Good Dinosaur had enjoyable characters and touching moments. Brave had insanely dislikeable characters and teenage melodrama.

>B-BUT I WOVE THAT PAINTING FOR YOU!

Like give me a fucking break. The dad dino wants to toughen up his son to protect him but realizes halfway through it's not going to work. And then he dies because in attempting to inspire his son to be like him, he stretched too far. That shit's memorable. That shit's good. Not I HATE YOU MOM

>what if toys had a plot?
>what if monsters had a plot?
>what if fish had a plot?
>what if scottish people dicked around for an hour and a half and then killed a bear
